    We enjoyed the last weekend of summer vacation with my daughter and her family.

    Because there is an indoor pool, our two families booked two Rooms with breakfast and dinner included. We were a bit concerned about the aging Facility, but the full-course dinner—something we didn’t expect much from—was delicious, and we were very satisfied. We debated until the end between this place and another Accommodation with a buffet style, but choosing here was absolutely the right decision. We also enjoyed the fireworks after dinner. While the age of the Facility can’t be helped, we did notice things like cobwebs on the windows. However, checkout was at 12:00, so we could take our time, and even after breakfast we were able to use the pool and baths. The children seemed to enjoy it as well. Thank you very much.

    We would like to request various improvements, including addressing aging and deterioration of the Facility.

    I have stayed here once a year for the past few years. For this stay, I would like to request the following improvements: 1. Requests regarding aging and maintenance (1) Why is the fountain in the pool not operating? (2) I noticed cracks in the Room ceiling for the first time—could this be related to the earthquake off the Noto Peninsula? (3) Part of the pool Facility includes a mist sauna and a Finnish sauna, but in the morning the lights are not turned on. Why is that? 2. Request regarding cleaning (1) There was green algae around the pool drain, and it was slippery—I almost fell. 3. Have the Japanese restaurant and steak restaurant closed permanently? 4. Wasn’t there previously a basket or bag to carry items when going to the bath?

    Great value for money!

    My daughter loves spacious Hotels, pools, and buffet dining, so we chose this place. The Room was large with three beds, and there was also an Onsen; we didn’t include dinner, but I think it was an amazing value for money. The pool also has a sauna, and the Onsen is right next door, which was very convenient. My daughter was very satisfied.

    Hopefully, we’ll meet again someday.

    Resort Hotel I was really looking forward to the indoor pool and sauna. However, when I checked again at the front desk on the day, I was told they are only available during limited periods and were not open. That was my oversight. Because they are indoors, I didn’t read the notices carefully and assumed they would of course be available regardless of season. I know this is a one-sided complaint, but since I had been looking forward to it, I honestly felt very disappointed. The ceiling in front of the door leading to the open-air bath in the women’s large public bath area had been replaced, but it looked covered in mold. Also, please clean the green algae right next to the hot-water outlet in the indoor bath. It is obvious that this Hotel is a source of local pride and an important place for demand and relaxation, and I strongly felt how much repeat guests love it. Though I am just one guest, I sincerely hope it will continue to be loved and remain for many years to come.

    The Italian meal was delicious.

    This was my third stay. I chose the Italian dinner. I think the Italian option is tastier than the Japanese meal.

    Service Degradation

    The bath towel stand in the large public bath has been discontinued. The in-room welcome sweets have been discontinued. The coffee packs have also been discontinued. The laundry bag has also been discontinued. The tissue provided in the Room bathroom/toilet has been discontinued. The number of spare pillows has been reduced to one. I understand these are cost-cutting measures and part of the company’s efforts, but it still feels disappointing. What disappointed me most was breakfast rice—I suspect it may have been reheated rather than freshly cooked. It tasted extremely bad. I have stayed here twice a year for about the past 10 years, and I don’t remember ever having rice this bad. The side dishes are very delicious, but this rice ruins everything. It is not worthy of a top-tier price of 2,750 yen. Please, by all means, provide freshly cooked rice.

    I have stayed at All...

    I have stayed at Allore about four times. This time, I was surprised to find the shop closed. Exploring the facility and visiting the shop during my stay is one of the joys of traveling, so it was very disappointing. In the morning, while I was still resting, cleaning started in the hallway. While I understand it’s part of their work, I was bothered by the loud conversations among the cleaning staff.

    It was great!

    I usually stayed at ◯◯◯ Hotel, but this was my first time staying at Allore Hotel. Overall, it was a great choice! The breakfast salad was fresh and not frozen. However, I would have preferred the fish to be grilled. It seemed like there were no foreign guests, which is an important point for me personally. Thank you very much! I look forward to staying again if I have the chance.

    Italian Course

    We arrived about 30 minutes earlier than planned and waited in the lobby as the Room was not ready yet. The facility feels a bit old, but it was thoroughly cleaned. The Italian course meal was very delicious. The public bath had lukewarm water. Breakfast was a buffet, which we also enjoyed, and take-out coffee cups were provided. Check-out time is at 12:00 PM, allowing for a very relaxed morning, which was great. However, note that the gift shop is only open from 10:00 AM on weekends, so be cautious if you plan to buy souvenirs.

    Thank you for accommodating our request during the reservation.

    While the aging of the Facility is inevitable, I continue to use it repeatedly due to its location and responsiveness to requests. This stay also met my expectations.

    This was our second ...

    This was our second stay. Although nothing was mentioned at check-in, it seems we were upgraded to a higher floor room with a beautiful view of Shibayama Lagoon, which made us very happy. For the first dinner, we chose Japanese cuisine, so this time we opted for Italian. Both were delicious. The broccoli in the breakfast salad was outstanding. The 12:00 checkout is perfect for us as it allows us to enjoy the onsen, savor delicious food, and relax at our own pace. Next time, we'll try the teppanyaki dinner!

    I had a relaxing time.

    The front desk staff spoke too quickly. While I understand as I have used this facility multiple times, it may be difficult for first-time guests. Regarding the room, although I reserved a non-smoking room, there was a tobacco smell (there was a fixed ashtray in the bathroom). Wouldn't it be better to run an air purifier during cleaning? What surprised me most was that despite reserving a twin room, it was set up as a triple-bed room. Although the staff promptly resolved this issue, there was no apology from the front desk. Additionally, my companion is visually impaired. While overall we felt consideration from the staff, at the Italian restaurant one of the servers made an inappropriate comment like "You seem to see quite well," which made us uncomfortable. The bath area was bright and very pleasant. As we stayed for two nights, we were able to relax thoroughly. Thank you very much!

    Delicious breakfast, spacious bath, would love a motorcycle parking area, though the building is old.

    Visited on a Sunday during a touring trip, chosen for its affordable price with breakfast included. The buffet was one of the best recently, though there were so many options that I couldn't try everything. The open-air Onsen was spacious and offered a great view of the stars. Please note that there isn't much around the area. The parking lot is very large—would be nice to have a covered space for bikes. The building is old but well-maintained, and amenities are sufficient. Fireworks were launched on the Onsen town side, but unfortunately, it wasn't visible from our side. Rooms facing the Hakusan side offer better views—perhaps even glimpses of F-15 scrambles from Komatsu Airport! Close to Ataka-no-Seki; highly recommended to visit!

    It was very disappointing.

    As a regular guest for over 10 years, except during the pandemic, I visited again this year. However, upon entering the Room, it only had views of the parking lot and rice fields. I requested to change to a Room with views of the lake and Hotel pond as usual. After that, when I went to get a bath cap from the amenity corner and found none available, I asked at the front desk but was made to wait for quite some time. They handed me something strange resembling undergarments instead of a bath cap. Shocked, I returned it saying it wasn’t what I needed. I decided to go to the pool but found that the jacuzzi wasn’t working. After calling reception about it and waiting without any response for an extended period, my husband called again more firmly before they finally turned it on. Feeling disheartened already, we left the pool early and returned to our Room where we discovered that the humidifier was broken. We had to call again for a replacement. With so many inconveniences one after another during our stay, we felt uncomfortable throughout and couldn’t relax at all. We ended up leaving early without waiting until check-out time. The only positive experience was with one foreign gentleman who served us during dinner; he was very pleasant. Other than that, this stay was extremely disappointing despite looking forward to it so much beforehand. Unfortunately, we don’t plan on returning in the future.

    Your go-to accommodation when returning to the countryside

    I return home every year, and I always stay here for one night. The Room, bath, and meals offer excellent value for money. There are fewer evacuees from Noto now, but I was concerned to see some still staying. Since Katayamazu Country Club is nearby, breakfast was lively with golf guests. As a golfer myself, I could feel the excitement. I will definitely stay here again.

    The facility offers a wide range of leisure activities, including a pool, park golf, tennis, and an Onsen.

    Even without bringing swimwear, they provided it for free, which was a great service. There were plenty of float rings available, showing their thoughtfulness. Park golf and tennis rackets were also available for rent, making it enjoyable. Thank you! The Onsen was not crowded, so I could relax and take my time. The meal was an Italian course, very stylish and delicious. I would love to visit again!

    This was my first time staying at this accommodation. The building is a bit old, but the room is well-maintained and clean! I was happy to find a large public bath. It’s relatively close to the highway exit, so I found it very convenient.

    Great value for money.

    Stayed with breakfast for one night. The shuttle service from Kaga Onsen Station was very helpful as we traveled by Shinkansen. Breakfast was delicious. The onsen in the large public bath was enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable. Despite being a Saturday during spring break, the price was reasonable and satisfactory.

    I was very satisfied with the spacious environment!

    We stayed here for a family trip and had a wonderful experience. Several beautiful Hina dolls were displayed near the lounge by the front desk, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. For dinner, we enjoyed a Japanese course meal that was absolutely delicious, complemented by the excellent service from the restaurant staff. The serene ambiance allowed us to share a blissful time as a family. The snowy scenery outside felt like being in another world. The spacious interior provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind from daily stress. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay—we hope to visit again!

    I had a relaxing time.

    I stayed with my daughter without meals to relax. It was during the heavy snow season, but thank you for providing shuttle service to the station. We wanted to take it easy, so we ordered takeout from the restaurant inside the property and were able to borrow cutlery and glasses. The public bath felt a bit old, and I was slightly concerned about some dirt in the corners. However, towels and bath towels were always prepared no matter how many times we used it, and since checkout was relaxed, we enjoyed the bath until just before leaving. Next time, I would like to visit again in a season when I can enjoy spa treatments, tennis, or rental bicycles.

    I stayed for the fir...

    I stayed for the first time. Perhaps I was lucky, as there were no crowded places at all, and I was able to spend my time slowly and quietly, which was really nice. Above all, even though it is a Resort Hotel, being able to stay in the hotel wear throughout the stay and go to the large public bath empty-handed was the best part. I chose the Italian course for dinner, and it was amazing, especially the pasta was delicious. It was nice to have chopsticks prepared while in hotel wear, and above all, the staff's service was excellent, allowing us to have an enjoyable and delicious time. The room amenities and cleaning were perfect and comfortable. The front desk staff at check-in did not provide enough explanation about the hotel, which was a bit confusing for a first-time stay, but overall, I was very satisfied. I would like to visit again. Next time, I would like to use the pool in a different season.

    Same-day Reservation for Dinner Use

    I made a reservation on the same day. There was no dinner included, and when I requested dinner at check-in, I was told that only a buffet from 8 PM was available. I found out that there was also Italian available in the room, and when I inquired, I was told it was OK from 8 PM. I informed everyone and went to the front desk, where I was made to wait for confirmation, only to be told it was fully booked. When I looked inside, it seemed deserted. It became impossible to go out to eat due to time constraints, and it was frustrating. The next day, even after checking out, we were able to use the pool and onsen and enjoyed it.

    It is affordable.

    We stayed for three days and two nights from New Year's Eve as a couple. We thought of going to an onsen for the New Year holidays, but it was too late, and everywhere was fully booked. We finally managed to make a reservation here. It is a spacious and splendid hotel, but perhaps because it is old, there are stains on the walls and floors, and the facilities like the toilets and large public bath are somewhat outdated. However, the room was well-cleaned, the twin room was spacious, and the view of the Hakusan mountain range from the room was unexpectedly good. Due to the time of year, there were events such as New Year's Eve soba, New Year's sake, ozoni, simple osechi, and a jazz concert, allowing us to enjoy a New Year's atmosphere. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant on both days, and it was nice that they took care to ensure the menu did not overlap. The taste was quite good, but the fried food on the second day lacked crispiness and was a bit disappointing. In any case, while prices are generally high during the New Year holidays, we were able to stay at a relatively reasonable price, and we found a good way to spend the New Year holidays.

    I chose this hotel to celebrate turning 30 and to spend the New Year in another prefecture. The service was average. Perhaps because all rooms became non-smoking from 2020, I noticed an unpleasant smell as soon as I entered the room. It might have been because the door to the unit bath was open. It was also disappointing that there was no welcome drink bottled water in the room. At dinner, I thought the staff's response was slow. The crab was not replenished quickly, the ice cream spoons were slow to be refilled, and the plates at the oden & beef tendon corner were also slow to be replenished. Everything had to be pointed out by us before it was addressed. I thought the staff's attention was lacking. For breakfast, I went after 7:30, but I was told the ozoni was not ready yet and would be out soon, which made me think it was unacceptable that the food preparation was not completed by the 7:00 breakfast start time. As a result, I intended to check out of the hotel at 10:00, but due to the disappointment, I checked out an hour early. It was nice to be able to make a reservation for one person, but it felt like a hotel just a bit better than a Business Hotel, which was disappointing. Even if I visit Kaga Onsen again, this hotel will not be an option for accommodation. Frankly, I thought it would have been better to stay at home or in Kanazawa, the destination. PS. I didn't understand why the shop was closed on New Year's Eve and open on New Year's Day. With no convenience stores nearby, I wondered what I was supposed to do at this hotel.

    This is my third stay.

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the changes in the number of people since the reservation, but we are very grateful for your kind response. We were accompanied by a baby, and at the restaurant, you kindly provided two baby chairs suitable for the baby's age. The food was very delicious, and we were able to enjoy our meal slowly. Thank you very much. The checkout time was also relaxed, allowing us to fully enjoy the pool and onsen!! The first time we visited was 9 years ago during the summer fireworks festival, and it was a memorable hotel as my late mother was with us. We would love to visit again next year.     The bath is too lukewarm.

    I often use the public bath at Katayamazu Onsen, but I believe that the onsen should be hot. When I previously stayed at your hotel, there was guidance to the room, and the bath seemed hotter. This time, after writing my name and phone number at check-in, there was no guidance, and I was just asked, "Do you have any questions?" I was left with many questions. Has the management policy or reception system changed? Since it was a Saturday stay, the cost performance was too poor. Thank you.

    Family use, perhaps?

    It was my first visit. I planned to relax on a solo trip while my wife was on a business trip, but the pool, spa, and hot springs were mostly filled with families. I've been there myself, so it wasn't unpleasant at all, but I didn't quite get the sense of relaxation. I enjoyed going around Lake Shibayama and having a drink at a restaurant in the Katayamazu hot spring area, so I guess you could say I did relax. Next time, I might come in winter and try some carp dishes.
