    Exceptional Cuisine

    We chose this Accommodation because the Reviews of the food were so positive. The French dinner started with a buffet-style appetizer selection, and we really enjoyed a wide variety of vegetable-based dishes—this alone was highly satisfying. The fish and meat main courses were also excellent. The buffet-style desserts included about 10 kinds in total, from small cakes to Japanese sweets, and everything was delicious. We were so impressed that we ended up eating too much. Even though we had overeaten the day before, the breakfast buffet the next morning was also very tasty, so we ate plenty again. We will definitely return for the food. Thank you very much.

    A Stay After a Long Time

    I stayed here for the first time in 10 years. Yunogo felt a bit quieter than before, but Poppy Springs was completely unchanged. Breakfast was excellent as well.

    A cozy and lovely Hotel

    It was a wonderful Hotel—almost too good for the price. From the décor and furnishings to the smallest details, the entire property shows great taste. The on-site shop was full of things I wanted! In Yugo, a historic Onsen town, there is an exceptionally calm and relaxing spa Facility that feels almost surprisingly refined for the area. Needless to say, the restaurant meals were also outstanding. Above all, the impeccable service from the female restaurant staff member was perfect. This is a Hotel I truly recommend for women who want to visit again.

    A Hotel where you can relax like at home

    I stay here whenever I visit Tsuyama to see my grandmother. The Hotel itself is a bit dated, but the wonderful staff more than make up for it. This was my first visit in four months, and I was impressed that a trainee in the restaurant remembered me—proof that true hospitality is alive here. They explained how today’s potage differed from last time and even remembered which dishes I like. I can’t stay often enough to call myself a regular, so I truly appreciate being remembered and treated with such thoughtful care. With delicious food, great staff, and a relaxing Onsen, I was able to refresh and recharge.

    Highly satisfied

    Attentive hospitality, a calm atmosphere throughout the Hotel, and above all, delicious meals. The woman who served us was truly wonderful. The main dish is brought to your table, while salads, appetizers, and desserts are served buffet-style. The vegetables were exceptionally tasty. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to visit again during grape season.

    Girls’ getaway with a relaxing jet bath

    It was a girls’ trip with three friends from the same class year. We had the Room set up as a triple and spent the whole time chatting. It felt like we were back to our first year after graduation. The jet-bath bathroom was spacious, and the bubbles were so powerful it felt like a full-body massage. We enjoyed a relaxing bath even during the day. We had both breakfast and lunch, and everything was delicious, with great care taken to use vegetables and local ingredients.

    Relaxing adult time in Yunogo

    This was my third stay. As always, both dinner and breakfast were delicious—especially the fresh vegetable buffet, which was outstanding again this time. Of course, the main fish and meat dishes were also excellent, making it a gourmet experience I look forward to every visit. For the Onsen, I used the on-site Onsen spa at the Hotel, and the next morning I also enjoyed the Onsen at Yunogo Grand Hotel (a sister property). The Facility is not brand-new, but it was clean and comfortable, with well-equipped amenities such as a sauna. There is also a traditional snack market and a bakery with freshly baked bread nearby, making it an area that guests of all ages can enjoy. In addition, since a free Shuttle Service operates from Okayama Station, I think this is a Hotel I can recommend even for guests coming from outside the prefecture.

    Thank you very much.

    I booked the most reasonable room and meal, but I think both might have been upgraded. It was my first stay in 25 years, and the facility was well-maintained and just as wonderful as before. The half-buffet dinner alone was very filling. The dessert cakes were also delicious.

    Perfect score.

    I chose this accommodation thinking it would be a relaxing stay. While access by train can be challenging, once I arrived: ① The quietness of the facility ② The greetings and attentiveness of the staff ③ The delicious dinner and breakfast All were perfect. The entire facility was impeccably clean, and although I stayed on the 3rd floor with a few other guests, the two elevators were always stationed on our floor throughout my 3-day stay. Dinner was delightful, with attentive staff providing excellent service and enjoyable conversations. Even though I am not familiar with sophisticated cuisine, every dish was exceptional and delicious. Breakfast may not have had as many options as larger hotels, but everything served was tasty, making both mornings of my multiple night stay enjoyable. If you plan to visit, I highly recommend including meals in your reservation. For baths, you can also use those at Yunogo Grand Hotel for more variety in style to suit your preference. The hot spring water was very soothing and pleasant. Despite the challenging access, this is an accommodation I highly recommend for its overall satisfaction. Thank you to all the staff for taking care of me!

    Affordable Resort Hotel

    I have used this place several times when returning to Tsuyama. The staff's hospitality always makes me feel at home, as if I were back at my parents' house. The dinner offers a wide variety of appetizers in the buffet, and I often find myself full before even reaching the main course. The creative ways they prepare vegetables are delightful, making me think a lighter Plan with just a single main dish might be a good option. Although the Facility is old and shows some signs of aging, the spacious spa and delicious meals make for an overall satisfying experience.

    Great value for money

    We stayed for 3 nights as a family of three. The car drop-off area is not very spacious, so it can be a bit tricky when other guests are present, but passengers can get in and out without getting wet in the rain. The parking lot is uncovered, which might be a concern during rainy weather. Additionally, the hotel’s on-site parking accommodates about 16 cars; if full, you’ll need to use an adjacent temporary parking lot. The lobby has a pleasant atmosphere and feels comfortable. There is a shop and restaurant on the lobby floor. On the 4th floor, free drinks are available during designated hours for guests to enjoy freely. Our room was on the top floor (5th floor), a twin room converted into a triple with a sofa bed provided. The size was approximately 18 tatami mats (about 30 square meters). Although there was only one north-facing window with no view, the room had a calm ambiance and was clean overall. The shower room (no bathtub) was also well-maintained and hygienic. Amenities were sufficiently provided without any shortages even during our multiple night stay; restocking and cleaning were thorough each day, which gave us peace of mind. Tea, coffee, and bottled water were replenished daily as well. The Onsen facility is located in another building across from the lobby to the south side of the property. The Onsen uses heated water circulation with added water. It features six washing stations along with facilities like jacuzzis, reclining baths, and saunas; however, considering the size of this hotel overall it felt slightly compact—around 12 people using it simultaneously could feel crowded. While generally clean throughout its premises signs suggest aging maintenance upgrades may soon become necessary. Staff interactions across all areas proved efficient yet friendly maintaining appropriate professional boundaries where needed too! Restaurant servers especially stood out delivering cheerful attentive service ensuring meals remained enjoyable experiences start-to-finish alike! Breakfast offered buffet-style options spanning both Japanese Western cuisines whereas dinner began similarly via appetizers before transitioning course-based servings featuring fish meat dishes respectively prepared deliciously exceeding expectations relative pricing tiers making stays here worthwhile investments indeed! Overall assessment positions this establishment favorably though access limitations surrounding nearby sightseeing attractions beyond Yugo Onsen itself might pose challenges depending travel priorities/preferences accordingly!

    A Hotel You'll Want to Visit Again and Again

    This is a wonderful hotel that I have stayed at multiple times with various companions! After a long time since the pandemic, I enjoyed a girls' night during my recent stay. The free shuttle bus from Okayama Station was spacious and comfortable, and there was additional shuttle service from the bus stop to the hotel, making it very convenient even in the summer heat. The bath facilities were relaxing, and amenities like skincare products were well-stocked. Most importantly, every meal was impressive—from appetizers to soup, main dishes, and desserts! The staff provided excellent service with warm smiles. However... when I looked outside the window, there were many insects on the balcony. Also, while lying on the bed looking at the ceiling of my room, I noticed cobwebs hanging down... which bothered me enough to clean them myself. Despite this minor issue with cleanliness, overall it’s an excellent accommodation that I highly recommend!

    Great value for money.

    Some areas may be slightly outdated, and the room curtains are thin, allowing light to come through. However, with full amenities and an Onsen included at this price, it’s an incredible deal! The staff were courteous, and the room was well-maintained and clean, making for a comfortable stay. I would love to stay here again when visiting home. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

    Vegetables Take Center Stage

    The vegetables were all fresh and delicious, which was truly surprising. The buffet-style dining was excellent, and even without the main meat dish served later, it felt complete. Honestly, it was the best I've ever had. On the other hand, the Onsen was a bit smaller than expected. However, the meals were absolutely fantastic.

    Fresh and vibrant vegetables are highly recommended.

    This was my second visit. The food, including the fresh vegetables, was delicious last time as well, and this time was no exception—it’s highly recommended. Since it was just my wife and me this time without our big-eating son, we opted for the lighter "Cosmos Course." The dinner included an appetizer buffet, where I tried the young corn with its skin on paired with a natural sea salt (I forgot the name). The freshness of it left such an impression that I ended up eating five pieces! Before even getting to the main course—a comparison of Okayama's Misaki Hime beef and Tsuyama black pork—I almost felt too full. Choosing this course turned out to be perfect for us. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!

    Mornings feel refreshing.

    I visited Yunogo Onsen for the first time, extending my trip with an overnight stay due to errands in Okayama City. The California Mission style made me feel like I was abroad. I also got to see fireflies and enjoy the Onsen. It seemed to be a day with fewer guests, so the Onsen was almost like a private experience. The different types of saunas at Yunogo Grand Hotel were also great. The morning air was refreshing as well. I had a relaxing time—thank you very much! I would love to stay here again if I have the chance!

    A sudden trip with my grandchild

    It was an accommodation booked last minute for a trip planned the day before. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a great accommodation with satisfying meals and an excellent room. My daughter, her spouse, and my grandchildren were all delighted. Moreover, it was perfect timing as it coincided with the Yunogo Onsen Firefly Festival.

    I felt relaxed.

    Amid the traditional Japanese atmosphere of the Onsen town, a space reminiscent of Italian architecture unfolds, allowing for a relaxing resort-like experience. We walked across the street to another building to enjoy the Onsen, which had an abundant flow of water and provided a soothing warmth that healed us from within. Dinner was an Italian course meal with appetizers offered in a buffet style, making it enjoyable to choose freely from what we liked. The fresh vegetables unique to Okayama were particularly delicious, and we were very satisfied with both the buffet and course meal. Although this was our first visit to Yunogo Onsen town and we couldn't fully explore it this time, the Room was quiet, allowing us to unwind peacefully at night.

    Overall, it was great.

    Stayed on the last day of Golden Week, May 6th. It was quite empty, so I could use the facilities comfortably. I heard it was very crowded until the day before, which might have given me a different impression. The bath felt small and enclosed, leaving me a bit unsatisfied. Other than that, I was generally satisfied.

    I was pleased to be thanked at the front desk for staying with us before and remembered. The room is also clean and neatly cleaned. Breakfast is also delicious. When I asked the female staff at the restaurant about the soy sauce brand for the egg over rice, she kindly told me. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
