The room was spaciou...
The room was spacious, and we were able to relax and take our time. It would have been nice to have an elevator, though... I wonder if the bath was an Onsen? We left without asking. All the staff were kind and pleasant. The night view was amazing—perfect!

Regarding the bath, please note that our facility does not have an Onsen; it is heated water. We sincerely apologize that our explanation was insufficient and that you returned home believing it was an Onsen. In addition, please be advised that we do not have a guest elevator, so movement within the Accommodation requires using stairs. Breathtaking Views of Nagasaki
The view of Nagasaki from our Room was breathtaking, both during the day and with the night scenery. The Facility is old, but the Japanese-style room had lovely furnishings and decor, and it felt spacious and comfortable. The coffee from the in-room coffee maker was delicious, and we felt that care had been taken with the amenities as well. We enjoyed Shippoku cuisine in our Room, but perhaps due to being short-staffed, it took more than 40 minutes after we finished the first dishes for the next hot dishes to be served, so we ended up contacting the front desk. The food that arrived was cold; while it tasted good, we were disappointed because we wanted to eat hot dishes while they were still hot. The bath in the annex is small, but the main building’s bath is spacious with an open-air section, and it also had a great view.

Cleaning
I thoroughly enjoyed the meals, Onsen, and other amenities during my stay. However, I was a bit disappointed to notice that under the bed had not been cleaned when I happened to look. I understand it can be challenging to maintain everything perfectly, but small details can sometimes affect the overall experience. I would love to visit again, but please ensure thorough cleaning next time. The surprise celebration was a wonderful touch—thank you very much!

It was a wonderful accommodation.
We stayed here to celebrate my father's 90th birthday. We were initially worried about the slope leading to the accommodation, but even a small car could easily make it up. Upon arrival, we requested a change to a Western-style room, and they kindly accommodated us by preparing a spacious and elegant Japanese-Western style room without any additional charge. From the large windows of our room, we enjoyed Nagasaki's night view while savoring delicious and beautifully presented Shippoku cuisine. The sashimi and tempura were especially delightful. Breakfast was also luxurious. All the staff members were incredibly kind. The front desk staff assisted with first aid for my father after he fell during the day, all with a warm smile. The dining staff engaged in conversation with my father about his love for alcohol without any hesitation and brought drinks to our room multiple times. They even prepared purple celebratory attire and stained glass coasters for him, making this trip truly memorable for us—thank you so much! Although there was no elevator in the accommodation itself, they allowed us to use their service elevator, which made moving around much easier and stress-free. The bath was slightly small; however, everything else—the room, meals, and hospitality—was absolutely outstanding!

Highly Satisfied
We stayed as a three-generation family. Both dinner and breakfast were served in the Room, allowing us to enjoy our meals at ease without worrying about disturbing other guests, even with small children. We had a wonderful time and are already talking about wanting to stay again as a family.

Staff should pay more attention to guests.
Located on a hill, the Room offers a beautiful view of Nagasaki Port's nightscape. While the Facility has undergone some renovations, it retains its Showa-era style, and signs of mold and dirt are noticeable, especially in the water areas. The service was satisfactory only during check-in; otherwise, there was no sense of hospitality. Particularly unpleasant was during check-out when carrying heavy luggage like suitcases from the Room to the lobby via stairs—no staff offered assistance. Additionally, at the entrance, two taxis blocked the exit, forcing guests to take a detour to reach parking spaces without any staff noticing or helping. The meals are based on Shippoku cuisine but felt largely pre-made and lacked consideration for guest satisfaction or hospitality.

The night view is beautiful and the food is delicious.
The night view from the Ryokan overlooking Nagasaki Port was very beautiful, and our whole family was impressed. Also, both dinner and breakfast were deliciously Nagasaki-style. We definitely want to visit again.

Very satisfied!

Memorable Hotel
Above all, the night view of Nagasaki is wonderful. The staff are friendly and relaxing without the stiffness typical of a luxury Ryokan.

Unrestricted, relaxed, and warm hospitality
There was no time limit, and we were able to spend our time at our own pace. Everyone was polite, warm, and pleasant. The night view from the Room was breathtaking, and we turned off all the lights in the Room and enjoyed it slowly while talking with our family. I forgot something, but I am sincerely grateful for the prompt, kind, and courteous response.
