    Dinner was prepared for international tourists.

    I stayed expecting traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine, but the dinner menu was far from what I had anticipated. I won’t go into details, but I was very disappointed because I had been looking forward to a delicate kaiseki course at a Japanese-style Ryokan in Hakone. Breakfast was very delicious.

    We stayed here on our silver wedding anniversary trip after a day of golf. With in-room dining, we were able to relax at a leisurely pace, and since the bath in the Room is also an Onsen, we could enjoy it whenever we liked. The staff were attentive in many ways, making the stay very comfortable. When we stayed previously, the manager remembered that I get cold easily and prepared extra bedding for us, so I slept comfortably. The Facility is old and there is no open-air bath, but it’s rare to find an Accommodation with such high-quality Onsen water, a charming pond where carp swim, and convenient access. We would love to stay again.

    We stayed here for our silver wedding anniversary. The Onsen, both the private room bath and the large public bath, was very relaxing, and we enjoyed the delicious meals, making our stay very pleasant. The staff member in charge of our room was also kind and attentive. However, it would have been even better if the tableware during meals had been placed more carefully. Thank you very much!

    Family Trip

    It was a trip in search of tranquility. Upon being guided to the room, we were welcomed with matcha and traditional Japanese sweets, which brought a sense of warmth. We relaxed in the Onsen, sat on the veranda of the room enjoying the greenery while listening to birds chirping and insects singing, spending a peaceful time. Dinner was served one dish at a time in our room, and every dish was delicious, making for an enjoyable experience. The staff attending to our room provided attentive service for which we are very grateful. It became a truly wonderful memory.

    The grilled horse mackerel for breakfast was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the slightly sweet rolled omelet was delightful. The dishes were thoughtfully served at appropriate temperatures, reflecting the care of the chefs and staff.

    Not recommended.

    I chose this accommodation based on good reviews, but it was a very disappointing experience. Perhaps it depends on the staff member, but I have never felt so uncomfortable at a ryokan where I came to relax. The staff showed no expression or smile, and during meals, I was rushed and even had to assist with serving and clearing dishes. Although I chose this accommodation myself, it turned out to be a big mistake.

    The hot spring quali...

    The hot spring quality is truly amazing!! The building is old and some areas need renovation, but the garden has charm, and the stay was comfortable. I was touched when the host brought a flower that caught my husband's attention. Thank you very much. The staff worked hard, but we were attended by the youngest member; next time, we would prefer someone more experienced. The meals were just right for me, but they seemed insufficient for my husband—perhaps it's a healthy portion size. The location is convenient, and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot spring quality. Next time, I would love to try an aromatherapy massage. It's a great accommodation. Looking forward to visiting again!

    For the price

    This was my first time staying here. I chose this property for a trip with friends, but it was a bit disappointing. The room was unnecessarily spacious, with an old-fashioned kitchen, making it feel like staying in a small community center. Dinner was very delicious, but the breakfast menu was disappointing. I compared it to the menu at the ryokan I usually visit, which has a lot more variety. The bath... even though it was written that the room's bath was a hot spring, I had to fill it myself... Considering the price, I had high expectations, but it was a bit disappointing.
