    Perfect base for sightseeing

    We stayed for two nights as a base for sightseeing and were able to rest well thanks to the quiet atmosphere and comfortable beds. This time we focused on sightseeing and only had breakfast, but the morning buffet was delicious. The spacious, easy-to-use parking lot also left a great impression.

    I think it’s a very good Hotel.

    I stayed on the vote-counting day for the Nagano gubernatorial election, and people connected with the incumbent’s camp were gathered there. I’m not familiar with Nagano, but being chosen as a venue for that kind of event made me feel it is a Hotel with a certain level of prestige. The Hotel is divided into several wings, such as the Tower Wing and South Wing, and it was a bit of a walk from the Tower Wing where I stayed to the breakfast restaurant. The restaurant was essentially a banquet hall, featuring mainly local Nagano dishes. I enjoyed oyaki and sansai soba (buckwheat noodles with mountain vegetables), among others. The Hotel seems close to places like the prefectural office, but it’s a little far from Nagano Station—something to keep in mind.

    I appreciated the option to have laundry done without fabric softener.

    I was very impressed by the thoughtful service of preparing the linens and towels using only boiling sterilization, without fabric softener or detergent. Thank you very much. However, it cost 2,000 yen for two people. It’s not a big amount, but in hindsight I would have appreciated a clear explanation of what the fee was for. Other hotels have provided this free of charge. That said, I’m not dissatisfied at all, and I’d like to stay here every time. Separate from the Plan, we also visited the Japanese restaurant on-site, but I probably wouldn’t recommend it to others. (wry smile)

    Perfect for visiting Zenkoji Temple!

    I visited for the first time with my elderly parents. While the building itself seems old, it is well-maintained and clean, leaving no impression of being outdated or dirty, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. The Shuttle Service staff from the station were kind and attentive, and despite being busy, the front desk staff provided helpful assistance with local information and arranging taxis. The Room was on a high floor with a great view, which delighted my parents. Amenities like ReFa were provided in the bathroom, and the room was spacious enough to ensure excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet was not crowded, allowing us to enjoy a calm and delicious meal. The hotel is within walking distance of Zenkoji Temple, making it easy to stroll there while enjoying street food together as a family. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that noise from upstairs was bothersome at times—sounds of children running or jumping late at night continued for some time. While this is not directly an issue caused by Hotel staff, it might disturb light sleepers; perhaps some measures could be considered in the future. Although we stayed only one night, we created wonderful memories with my parents thanks to all the Hotel staff's efforts. I look forward to visiting again when traveling to Nagano!     It was excellent.

    Due to an issue with the reserved room, we were upgraded to a higher-grade room. The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. One disappointing point, possibly due to the design, was that water from the shower in the shower room flowed all the way to the area in front of the sink, soaking bath mats and slippers. Since it was a suite room, this felt a bit unfortunate.

    Spacious parking and guest rooms!

    Stayed for 2 nights. The parking lot is spacious, which is very convenient. The guest rooms are also large, allowing for a comfortable stay. This hotel uses traditional "keys" instead of card keys, and personally, I enjoyed this analog touch. There's no need to scan a card key in the elevator to access your room, which makes it hassle-free. I had the breakfast buffet. Since my plan did not include meals, I went straight to the restaurant in the morning. However, it took quite some time before I could be seated due to coordination with the front desk. As for the food itself, while the taste was fine, I felt that there could have been a bit more variety on the menu. Overall, I had a comfortable 2-night stay and found this hotel very user-friendly.

    A bit disappointing despite the excellent service.

    I stayed in a high-floor suite as the price was affordable for the event. Upon entering the room, all the curtains were closed, and there was a musty smell, so I opened the windows. The room was spacious and nice; however, as mentioned in other reviews, there was water leakage from the shower room on a different floor, causing the area in front of the sink to become soaked. I called staff for assistance. Their response and that of other staff members were excellent, but I felt slightly disappointed with this stay overall. While aging buildings are inevitable, some improvements would be appreciated.

    A Relaxing Overnight Stay

    After a tiring walk, I checked in early and relaxed in the Room. The Room was clean and well-organized, making my stay very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the Matsutake Kaiseki cuisine at Tsukasa, the Japanese restaurant within the Hotel. It was a memorable one-night stay. Thank you for the hospitality.

    Hotel with attentive staff

    We stayed in Nagano for a memorial service as a couple. This was our third stay, and the young staff's attentiveness made it a pleasant hotel. The room showed some wear and tear in the water facilities and other areas, but it was comfortable and easy to use. With a restaurant inside the accommodation, we had no trouble with dinner and enjoyed a comfortable stay. We will use this accommodation again. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The suite room is not user-friendly.

    Stayed in the special floor "Suite Room (Room 1326)" plan, but the room layout was extremely poor. The placement of the bed, sofa, TV, dressing table, etc., was very inconvenient. Water from the shower installed in the washroom overflowed from under the door, leaving the washroom floor soaking wet—terrible experience. Breakfast was decent.

    Comfortable Nagano Trip

    Everything was comfortable from check-in to check-out. Dinner at the Hotel's restaurant was accompanied by live music and singing, creating a special experience. The Room was clean and comfortable, allowing even elderly family members to stay without any inconvenience. Being able to enjoy "Gohei-mochi" for breakfast was a delightful surprise. I would be happy to stay again!

    I forgot my hat in the Room, and when I contacted them later, they kindly and promptly sent it to me. They even included a thoughtful letter, for which I am very grateful. Their considerate response made for a wonderful travel memory. Thank you very much.

    A Hotel You’ll Want to Stay at Again

    We stayed in a spacious Room for four people with breakfast included, and it was not cramped at all. The shower room and the jacuzzi-equipped bath were separate, allowing us to enjoy both comfortably. The breakfast offered a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, including local specialties like Gohei-mochi and Oyaki, which delighted our growing children. The price was reasonable, and we would love to stay here again.

    It was comfortable.

    The Hotel offers Shuttle Service from Nagano Station, which was very helpful. Zenkoji Temple is about a 10-minute walk away, allowing for a serene nighttime visit with almost no crowds. The location is excellent for visiting Zenkoji Temple. Stayed in the South Wing; the Room was spacious with a comfortable double bed. While not new, it was cleaned meticulously. Complimentary mineral water was appreciated. Breakfast featured delicious miso soup with plenty of ingredients, though the Japanese-style side dishes were somewhat lacking.

    There are no mistakes.

    I always use this Property when working in Nagano City. The service is impeccable, and I enjoy a quiet and pleasant stay. The Facility is a bit old but clean. It's a little far from Nagano Station, but that makes it easier for cars to come and go. I've stayed at several Hotels near Nagano Station, but I end up using this place when I have demanding work.

    Shuttle Service Bus

    I decided on the hotel based on the walking time from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple without checking the location on the map. After arriving, I planned to have dinner near Nagano Station, but I ended up walking around several places and got quite tired. The free bus between the hotel and Nagano Station was available at just the right time, which was very helpful. The hotel's parking lot was also available until 12:00 on the day after my stay, so I was able to visit Zenkoji Temple in the morning, which was great.
