    When I lived in Asah...

    When I lived in Asahikawa, I used to dine at this restaurant because the food was excellent. For this stay, I chose the Plan with breakfast. The asparagus dishes and the ramen made fresh on the spot—along with many other delicious options—were all outstanding, and I was very satisfied. The Room feels a bit dated, but the food more than makes up for it. I will stay here again.

    First-time stay

    This was my first time staying here. It was a bit inconvenient that the parking lot is a little far away. However, the facilities were kept clean, and the staff were courteous. I also enjoyed the large public bath, so I would stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Standard Hotel

    It was a large-scale Hotel that seemed to have been magnificent in the past. Since there is no parking lot at the Hotel, guests need to park at nearby affiliated parking lots, but the guidance was minimal and hard to understand. The Facility is quite old. While there were baths and saunas, they had an outdated design. However, the breakfast was very delicious.

    I considered hotels near the station, but I chose this one because the breakfast seemed the most satisfying. The buffet at the top-floor restaurant offered a great view and a wide variety of dishes made with Hokkaido ingredients, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Since there are so many options, it might be better to take a look at everything first before deciding what to get. I was also pleased to have Asahikawa ramen for breakfast. There was even a section with soft serve ice cream and kid-friendly dishes like potatoes and nuggets, making it popular among families as well.

    Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, but it might be good to manage expectations with the following in mind: - There are over 200 rooms, but only two elevators, leading to long wait times. - A large number of travelers from countries with lower standards of public behavior. - Despite including children in the reservation, no children's room wear is provided.

    The meals are delicious!

    This was my first time staying here! At first, I didn’t have high expectations, but the food was very delicious. However, I couldn’t figure out how to turn off the bedside light and ended up sleeping with it on. Usually, it’s near the bed... Also, having extra towels would have been nice as they didn’t dry easily. There was no information about whether additional towels could be requested at the front desk. Still, it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again!

    Overall satisfied.

    The night view from the Room was very beautiful. The meals were buffet-style, and it was nice to have some local menu options. It was my first time staying at a Hotel where bathing required an additional fee, so I felt a bit confused. However, seeing people with tattoos wandering around was disappointing. While I understand that staff might hesitate to approach them due to potential risks, it still left me feeling uncomfortable.

    I stayed for only one night on February 13th, but I was able to spend it very comfortably. It was a calm Hotel, and both the atmosphere inside and the service of the staff were wonderful. I often visit Asahikawa on business trips, so I would like to use it again. It's a pity that I couldn't use the bathhouse, so I'd like to try it next time. Thank you very much.

    It is a hotel worth the price.

    Among the hotels in Asahikawa, it is a hotel with a large public bath, and I used it. The price setting was relatively cheap, and I felt the service was commensurate with the price. There were many young staff members, and I didn't feel much heartfelt hospitality. The large public bath didn't feel like a place to relax slowly, and I felt it was at the level of a public bath. I thought the meals had a good variety and atmosphere.

    The Room is spacious.

    The building was old, but the Room and the plumbing were clean. The refrigerator was broken. The large public bath was available for a fee of 700 yen.

    The meals were very satisfying, but the bath was disappointing.

    We stayed for one night on a family trip. Since our children are small, we preferred a Japanese-style Room, and among the limited options, we chose this Hotel. The Room was clean, and the futons and linens were crisp, making for a comfortable stay. Both breakfast and dinner were buffets, with a wide variety of dishes and no shortages, and there was a children's corner, which was satisfying. However, although the bath was a large public bath, half of it was occupied by cold baths and low-temperature baths, so there were few baths where you could actually warm up. Those who want to enjoy various baths in the large public bath should be aware of this (though the temperature and size are sufficient for warming up normally).

    If you just need a place to sleep and stay

    I stayed for one night in conjunction with my trip to Asahikawa during my Hokkaido travels. The room is adequate if you're just coming back from sightseeing, taking a bath, and sleeping. Please consider it as a typical city hotel. Depending on the grade, there might be better rooms available. The breakfast buffet is neither good nor bad, similar to other city hotel buffets. To be honest, compared to the hotel in Sapporo where I stayed for two nights before, I felt that both the price and service were inferior. For the sake of Asahikawa, which is an attractive tourist destination, I believe the hotel could become wonderful with more effort. I'm looking forward to it!
