    Breakfast is excellent.

    The Room was thoroughly cleaned, but the age of the Facility was hard to overlook. At the time of Reservation, I was told that single Rooms were mainly on the ocean side, but I was actually assigned a low-floor Room on the town side, which was a bit disappointing. The overall atmosphere also felt geared more toward conventions, giving the impression that less emphasis is placed on overnight stays themselves. On the other hand, breakfast was excellent. There were few pre-made items; instead, there was a good selection of properly prepared dishes. I was especially impressed by the high quality of the tartar sauce and coffee—you can clearly taste how carefully everything is made. One concern was seeing inbound guests unsure about what to choose because they couldn’t tell what each dish was like in terms of variety or flavor. I felt satisfaction would improve even more if staff could provide simple guidance not only with dish names but also with brief descriptions such as “what kind of flavor this dish has.” When I explained a little myself, they were very grateful. Overall, this Hotel offers exceptionally high-quality breakfast, but there is still plenty of room for improvement.

    It was a good, traditional Hotel.

    The Room was spacious, and I was able to relax. I was impressed that the in-room radio played clearly through the ceiling speakers. At other Hotels, even if they still have one these days, it’s often broken and unusable, which has been disappointing. There were also postcards you can send from the Hotel, along with stationery, a pen and memo pad, and a telephone—everything reminded me of how lively Hotels used to feel. It made me nostalgic and left me wanting to stay at a Hotel like this again. I also received brandy cake and champagne as a Diamond benefit; thank you very much (I don’t drink alcohol, so unfortunately I returned the champagne). Breakfast was carefully prepared and delicious. The front desk area was spacious as well—not like today’s compact Hotels—and it made me feel relaxed. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The Room is spacious, but the mold on the bathroom tiles and the worn carpet are disappointing.

    I don’t like small Rooms, so I booked a twin Room for single use. The building is probably from the Showa era, but compared with the latest city Hotels, the Room size is just as good. However, it was inconvenient that there were not many power outlets. Also, I noticed black mold in some of the bathroom tile grout, and the worn carpet in the 12th-floor hallway was quite noticeable. Breakfast included several local specialties and dishes that had clearly been prepared with extra care in the kitchen; even from my perspective working in food quality control, it met an acceptable standard. However, I got confused because the rice and miso soup were placed far apart, and the bacon was quite fatty, so I felt there is room for improvement in how items are laid out and in ingredient quality.

    So-so.

    Pros: There is a convenience store and a bakery. The Room was clean, and the basic amenities were provided. A wide variety of bakery items. Fast concierge service. Cons: The front desk staff did not smile. The bedside lamp bulb in the Room was out. I would like you to check the Facility in advance. Based on a Review saying, “They introduced me to a delicious sushi restaurant,” I told the concierge and asked them to make a Reservation at their recommended sushi place, but it turned out to be the worst experience. When I ordered a highball, they brought beer. On top of that, the staff said in front of customers, “We rarely make mistakes—this is unusual.” Also, the concierge told me, “Bring this flyer for a special offer—don’t forget,” but there was no offer at all. I suggest visiting once while pretending to be a tourist. One of the pleasures of travel is food. Please carefully select restaurants before recommending them to guests. It’s disappointing because the concierge service itself was good. For the breakfast buffet omelet as well, they should confirm whether sautéed onions and cheese are wanted or not.

    Excellent in every respect.

    Everything was great, just as the title says. The breakfast was especially excellent and delicious. The Room was spacious and comfortable. There were three elevators, which were fast and convenient.

    I stayed here to attend a live show at Link Station Hall Aomori. The location is excellent. The Room layout was very easy to use, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It had been a while since I stayed at a proper Hotel. Last time, I was concerned that the Wi-Fi was an open free network, so I contacted them in advance. They replied that a password is required, which reassured me. Wired internet is also available, which made it easy to work on my laptop and was very helpful. To be honest, I really look forward to breakfast—there aren’t many Hotels where you can enjoy plenty of seafood such as fresh tuna, so I end up taking a bit of everything. Last time there was heavy snow, but this season with fresh greenery is wonderful too. I’d like to visit Aomori again in another season. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Although I’m used to...

    Although I’m used to being told “That’s not possible,” every staff member handled anything I asked for or wanted to request with polite, attentive service and without the slightest sign of displeasure. Their phone support was also excellent. This Hotel truly made me feel that this is what real hotel professionals are like.

    A Long-Awaited Aomori Road Trip

    We stayed here during our long-awaited driving trip to Aomori. The front desk staff recommended a nearby sushi restaurant, and we enjoyed delicious Aomori sushi and sake. The Hotel breakfast the next morning was also excellent. As Diamond members, we received wine and a souvenir cake. Thank you very much.

    It was amazing!

    I stayed here on a business trip. The view from the Room, the cleanliness, the bedding, how comfortable the towels were, and the perfectly sized space—everything was excellent. I had seen a Review mentioning “aging facilities,” so I came without high expectations, but it didn’t bother me at all. Both the bath water and the washroom were more than satisfactory. Breakfast, which I’d been looking forward to, was also very satisfying! I was planning to have an early lunch so I meant to keep breakfast light… but it was so good that I ended up eating more than planned (in a good way). Next time, I’d like to visit for leisure!

    Spacious and comfortable Room.

    You can relax in a spacious and comfortable Room. It is located at a reasonable distance from the downtown area, making it quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. There are plenty of parking spaces available, and at 600 yen per night, there was no trouble finding parking. I will definitely use this place again next time. Thank you very much!

    It was excellent.

    I often travel to various places for work, and this was my first time staying here despite visiting Aomori several times. The Room was comfortable, and I really enjoyed the breakfast with scallops. It was reasonably priced and highly recommended.

    Surprised by the Diamond Benefits!

    The complimentary pound cake exceeded my expectations. I thought there would be two small slices with different flavors in the room, but at check-in, I received a boxed whole cake in a paper bag! It felt luxurious. While I enjoyed the sparkling wine in the room, I took the cake home and had it as a delicious breakfast substitute for bread. Even though I only booked a single room, the perks were incredibly generous. However, while it’s mentioned that it takes 20 minutes from the station, due to frequent traffic lights, it actually took closer to 30 minutes. On my way back, it was raining heavily, so I used the shuttle service which was very helpful. There was an earthquake during my stay and hearing creaking noises made me feel uneasy about the building's age—that’s my only minor complaint. The staff were professional and gave off more of a city hotel vibe rather than just a business hotel experience. It’s been quite some time since I've been this pleasantly surprised by an accommodation! This stay became truly memorable. I hope to visit again if given another opportunity!

    Retro atmosphere

    I chose this hotel for my trip to Aomori because of its high review ratings. The walk from the station to the hotel is quite long, so taking a bus is convenient if you don't have a car. Since there aren't many shops nearby, it might be better to eat near the station beforehand. As a Diamond Member perk, I received sparkling wine and a whole pound cake, which was very satisfying. The view from the room was also beautiful, and I understood why it's so popular. The room felt very spacious compared to business hotels I usually stay at during business trips. However, as the hotel seems quite old, there were limited charging outlets in the room, and the bathroom was rather outdated—I would have preferred brighter lighting. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and included local specialties from Aomori, making it an overall highly satisfying stay at this hotel.

    I stayed for two nights at this long-established Hotel in Aomori. It gave the impression that cleaning was not thorough, with a lot of dust. However, all the staff were very kind and welcoming. I hope it becomes a Hotel that makes guests want to return. Wishing you all the best!

    I requested sparklin...

    I requested sparkling wine, which was chilled in the refrigerator for me. Through an IKYU reservation with Diamond Member benefits, I enjoyed a delicious brandy cake. The hotel itself is not very new but was clean. Although there is no large public bath, the bathroom had a proper washing area and was spacious and comfortable to use. I only used the breakfast buffet, which included Aomori's local cuisine and freshly made omelets by the chef on-site—it was delicious.

    It was a good Hotel.

    The front desk staff at check-in was very pleasant. The woman who brought an extension cord and newspaper to the Room was also very kind. The breakfast was excellent, featuring ingredients and local dishes from Aomori, making for a delightful start to the day. There were many newspapers available. It’s rare to find a Hotel where you can read newspapers during breakfast these days. I would love to stay here again. Everything had a mild flavor and was very delicious.

    First visited in May 2025.

    The reason for choosing this reservation was because we had booked the 6:25 AM Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry, so we stayed here the night before. It is convenient that the ferry terminal is about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Since the hotel is a bit far from Aomori Station, we walked around to explore nearby but found few restaurants, which was slightly inconvenient. However, having a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel was very handy. The room was more spacious and comfortable than expected. From the window, we could see towards Tsugaru Strait. During this season, it was beautiful to watch the sunset beyond ASPAM from our room. The wide sink area in the bathroom was also nice. However, since there is only one light shared between the toilet and bathroom area, it felt slightly dim in the bath area. Thank you for your hospitality during our stay!

    The Hotel staff were...

    The Hotel staff were very friendly, and the stay felt safe, secure, and relaxing. It’s just a few minutes by taxi from the station; local buses are also available, but the last bus departs at 7:40 PM. Next time, I’d like to stay with breakfast included—it looked delicious.

    It was a great Hotel!

    Stayed for the last night of a 2-night, 3-day trip to Aomori. The distance from the station was a bit inconvenient, but there was a lovely Tsugaru local cuisine restaurant nearby, which was great. The Room was a double room and spacious, making it comfortable to stay in. The Hotel had many business travelers, making it safe and quiet. It felt like an old but prestigious Hotel and was clean overall; however, the bathroom was quite outdated, which was very disappointing. Breakfast at the downstairs restaurant was average but reasonably priced at 2,000 yen for a buffet with unique Aomori dishes—highly recommended for those unsure where to eat breakfast. Overall very satisfied except for the bathroom.

    Despite the heavy snow, we stayed warm.

    Aomori is still experiencing heavy snowfall, with snow piling up for two days, covering the city in deep snow. Carrying large luggage and walking in this harsh snow is difficult, and the cold is increasing. The bus schedule is significantly delayed, and taxi fares have skyrocketed, making it tough for those without much money. The cheapest way is to take the bus, but waiting at the bus stop outside for a long time is unpleasantly cold, and the passing buses are also challenging. This is my second stay at this hotel in 22 years, and last time I was treated warmly, enjoying a cozy room. Aomori's heavy snow was tough, but I overslept during my stay, and the facilities haven't changed much since before. The room's wired broadcast offers 440 channels, allowing you to enjoy your favorite music all night, and the TV receives CATV, including channels from other prefectures outside Aomori. Going out was difficult due to the relentless snow, but I could stay at the hotel until the next day, with a free extension of the usual 11 a.m. checkout to noon, allowing me to relax until the end. The return journey was also challenging due to the severe snow, making walking difficult, but the highway bus, despite some delays due to the accumulating snow, made for a good trip. If I have the opportunity to visit again, I plan to avoid the midwinter season. During my previous visit, I experienced an earthquake, but this time, despite the heavy snow, there was no earthquake, and I spent my time safely. I am grateful during the New Year.

    A bit disappointing

    I might have expected too much because the review was good. I was aware that it was old. It was disappointing that the paint on the door was peeling in places. Dinner was a buffet with seafood rice bowl, salmon and tuna, one slice of cucumber, and shiso leaf, which was at the level of cheap conveyor belt sushi. The domestic beef steak was tough and couldn't be chewed. I ate with concern, wondering if it was difficult to make ends meet due to rising prices. The restaurant was empty, so I thought there were few guests. The next morning, when I went for breakfast first thing, it was full, and I ended up waiting for nearly 20 minutes. Even though there were many staff members, it seemed like things weren't running smoothly. The breakfast content was also not very good.
