    A streamlined design with no wasted space

    This was my fifth stay. For a Business Hotel, it is excellent, and I always enjoy a comfortable stay. The efficient design, well-stocked amenities, delicious meals, and smooth layout are the main reasons I choose this place. The only disappointment was the price: until now it had been unbelievably affordable, but this time it wasn’t—perhaps because it was a busy season. However, compared with nearby hotels, the pricing at this time of year is understandable; the previous rates were exceptionally low. And if you choose the right season, it’s very reasonably priced, so I look forward to staying again.

    A Comfortable Stay Warmed by Thoughtful Hospitality

    When I arrived tired, a male staff member kindly spoke to me, and I truly felt his thoughtfulness. After a long journey, those few words were very comforting. Check-in is usually at 2:00 PM, but since the Room was ready, I was shown to it earlier. Thanks to that, I could rest right away, which I really appreciated. The Room was clean and very comfortable. I was able to relax and had a very satisfying stay. The location was also great—easy to find by going almost straight from Sendai Station East Exit—so I arrived without getting lost. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Sendai. Thank you very much.

    The Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Free parking with IKYU Diamond status. Convenient access—less than a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station East Exit. Drink dispensers and complimentary ice are available in the elevator hall.

    The Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and items were replenished frequently. The only inconvenience was that there weren’t enough Room key cards for everyone. Since a card is also required to use the elevator, it was inconvenient when splitting up—for example, whoever arrived first had to go downstairs to meet the other person.

    I stay here a few times a year, and it is always clean. I’m also happy that the shower head and hair dryer are ReFa. I will use it again.

    Very good

    The rooms are spacious, tidy, and clean. The staff provide excellent service and can communicate in English. The breakfast buffet was good, but the selection did not vary much from day to day. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

    It was great, even though it was a last-minute stay.

    I made a Reservation before 10:00 p.m. and checked in after 10:00 p.m. I had reserved a double Room, and the front desk kindly offered an upgrade to a twin, but when I said I preferred a larger bed, they checked again and it took a little time. In the end, I was able to stay in a Room with what felt like a queen-size bed (I’m not sure whether this was an upgrade, as I didn’t confirm). As Holiday Inn is an international standard brand, the area around the bed and the bathroom were exactly the same as when staying overseas. That made me feel very comfortable and reassured. The rate also felt more affordable than when staying abroad—perhaps it was just by chance. Even though it was a last-minute stay, thank you for providing such a comfortable experience. It helped me get through my early-morning work smoothly the next day.

    The front desk staff were very kind.

    ● At the time of reservation, only smoking rooms were available, but at check-in, we were informed that a non-smoking room had become available due to a cancellation. Although it was an upgrade and would normally incur an additional charge, we were able to change without any extra cost thanks to our membership registration. We appreciate the staff's quick thinking and support. ● There is almost no step between the bedroom/living area and the bathroom, making it easy to use and very helpful for us elderly guests.

    Clean rooms and a highly satisfying breakfast buffet.

    I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days this time. This is my third stay this year, and as always, the cleanliness was impeccable, not only in the Room but throughout the entire Hotel. The breakfast buffet was truly delicious, allowing me to enjoy a highly satisfying Hotel experience. Additionally, its proximity to Sendai Station was very convenient.

    No public bath and no smoking area inside the accommodation. I used the morning service, but the variety was very limited, and the taste was average. Being ANA, I expected a more comfortable stay.

    Reliable and High-Value Hotel

    We stayed as a group of three this time. One person used a simple bed, but the room was spacious, and the bed was firm enough for a good night's sleep. The entire accommodation is clean, spacious, and efficiently designed without wasted space. Above all, the breakfast buffet is incredibly delicious and definitely the highlight of our stay. Additionally, with an unbelievable price setting (we stayed for one night this time), this will be our only choice whenever we visit Sendai. We look forward to staying here again next time!

    Conveniently located Hotel near the station

    This is my second stay following last year. This time, a water dispenser was installed in the hallway, so there was no shortage of water for tea. I used the parking lot, and it was great that it was free as a Diamond Member benefit. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to Sendai Station. The Room wasn’t spacious but had a table and desk, making it functional. However, the limited number of electrical outlets was inconvenient; I had to unplug the lamp cord to boil water alternately. Also, while it's understandable that there’s no coffee machine, providing generic instant coffee feels outdated nowadays—at least offering regular coffee packs would be appreciated. If not possible, perhaps consider offering complimentary coffee at the restaurant on the first floor? I plan to stay again next year and hope this issue will be improved by then. As for amenities, distributing only necessary items during check-in might reduce waste—some people might take more than needed (e.g., two razors). Personally, I would have appreciated having hair ties available instead!

    I stayed for two nights on a business trip. Due to early morning work commitments, I opted for accommodation with no meals included, but the room was more spacious than typical hotels, allowing me to relax comfortably. The walls seemed well-insulated as I couldn't hear any noise from other guests or footsteps, making my stay very pleasant. After checking out, I realized I had lost my Wi-Fi device and thought I might have left it at the hotel. When I returned and explained the situation, the staff kindly allowed me to check the room where I stayed. A front desk staff member even accompanied me and helped search by lifting the bed, which made me feel very grateful yet apologetic for causing trouble. Although it wasn't found at the hotel, later on, my workplace informed me they had it in safekeeping and it was safely returned to me. My apologies for causing any inconvenience during that time. Thank you sincerely for your thoughtful assistance during my stay. If given another opportunity in the future, I would love to stay here again!

    Thorough training for new employees!

    There was trouble during checkout. Upon arrival, as I had a rental car, I was temporarily guided to the affiliated parking lot. At that time, I mentioned that "I will return the car and only need to use it for about an hour while completing the check-in process." However, at checkout, I was charged 3 nights' worth of parking fees (actual 3 nights) totaling 3600 yen (1200×3). When the total bill exceeded my reservation amount, I inquired and discovered the mistake. Initially, the front desk insisted on charging for 3 nights because of my stay duration. I explained again that I had informed them at check-in about using it for just an hour. The hotel also did not confirm with me about using parking for 3 nights. It seems they unilaterally decided without confirmation from me that I'd be using parking for all three nights. Usually, I don't scrutinize billing details much but realized it's necessary to double-check moving forward. Since this is part of ANA's group hotels, I trusted them; however, blind trust isn't always good either. The check-in process seemed inefficient as well—there was a female front desk staff member being supervised by what appeared to be her trainer while handling procedures under observation; likely a new employee learning on-site training here—but both missed confirming important details together! Additionally disappointing: despite booking a twin room initially provided only one key card until requested otherwise by myself later—lacking thoughtful preparation upfront! While understandable mistakes happen w/trainees involved still expect trainers ensure proper hospitality standards upheld consistently across teams overall experience left feeling let down compared prior positive stays Tokyo ANA properties comparison stark contrast regional inconsistencies apparent evident future visits unlikely repeat choice alternative accommodations preferred instead

    It was a comfortable stay.

    Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The Room appeared to have been recently renovated in terms of interior and Facility, providing a clean and comfortable environment. The breakfast menu was satisfying in both quality and quantity. One concern was the location and usage instructions for the affiliated parking lot. Although it is mentioned on the Hotel's website, it might be difficult for first-time visitors to understand.

    I used it for work after a long time.

    The Room and Facility were clean and without issues, but one challenging aspect was the smell. I stayed in Room 601, and while I am unsure if it was specific to that room, there was a rather strong scent resembling mothballs near the entrance of the room, which I couldn't get used to. This was a bit tough for me. The staff were polite; however, compared to other ANA Crowne locations, their service felt slightly formulaic. That said, it is acceptable for a Business Hotel.

    Best Value for Money

    Stayed for two nights again this year during this season. The Room was spacious, and the mattress seemed firmer than last year, which allowed me to sleep soundly. The breakfast buffet is undoubtedly the highlight of this Hotel. It was truly delicious. Staying in a twin Room for two people with these meals and parking included offers excellent value for money.

    Stays for a family trip to Sendai.

    Staying with a couple and one child (elementary school student). Our hobby is family travel, and we stay at hotels and ryokans about 30 nights a year. - Location: About a 5-minute walk from Sendai Station. Although there is a convenience store nearby, considering it's in the center of Sendai, it might be considered a bit far. - Guest Room: Twin room on the premium floor. The room is clean. The water area is an older design with a combined bathtub, washbasin, and toilet. Since it was a Saturday, the price was reasonable, but this room... was unpopular with the child. An extra bed was set up, so the sofa was gone, making it feel even narrower. - Parking: There is a large self-propelled multi-story parking lot shared with the adjacent pachinko parlor. Parking was free. - Breakfast: Buffet. As a buffet for a business hotel, the number of menu items, taste, presentation of the food, and seating comfort are all at the lowest level. There is no ingenuity. There are many overseas guests, so it's noisy and crowded. - Satisfaction: Is the Holiday Inn brand okay? It makes you wonder. Especially on Saturdays in the autumn season, the accommodation fee becomes expensive, so with this facility and this service... it's a bit disappointing. I thought I made a mistake in choosing the hotel.

    It was a fulfilling stay in Sendai. The free parking and late check-out until 2 PM perfectly satisfied the most concerning points. Although I forgot to buy the famous Zunda Mochi, the front desk staff kindly advised me on the best places to purchase it at the Tohoku Expressway service area, allowing me to buy it successfully before returning. Thank you very much.

    Stylish Hotel with an International Atmosphere

    The front desk staff were also from overseas, giving the Hotel an international atmosphere. The Room was spacious and clean. We used it when watching a Vegalta Sendai soccer match and sightseeing in Matsushima, and it was convenient as it is relatively close to Sendai Station.
