    Not bad, but the smell is bothersome.

    The Room had a country-style interior, and it was nice to have water facilities on the second floor as well. However, there was an unpleasant musty smell from humidity, which really bothered me. I think the Facility is also aging, so I would not stay again. The foreign staff were polite and helpful.

    Relax and unwind with your family.

    We stayed as a family of four with two elementary school-aged children.\nThe building is old, but it felt well cared for and properly maintained.\nThe value for money was excellent.\nMold in the bathroom is probably unavoidable, but we were a bit concerned that the inside of the living room air conditioner was completely black with mold. The air conditioners in the two bedrooms were clean.\nBreakfast at Bayside Kitchen was tasty and satisfying, but it’s cafeteria-style and refills are basically not allowed. Since you don’t know what will be available until you get there, we ended up taking too much and could barely eat lunch. We would like to have at least one official refill allowed.

    There are many insects.

    As the Hotel is over 30 years old, it does feel a bit dated, but it was spacious and nice with two floors. However, when we opened the windows there were a lot of insects, so we would have liked mosquito repellent mats or a mosquito coil. Also, the Hotel listing site showed photos of having breakfast on a small terrace through the floor-to-ceiling window, but it was disappointing that there was no room service. The staff’s service was very polite and excellent. The road in front of the villa was uneven and difficult to walk on. Some bricks were also broken, so repairs may be needed. Also, there are hardly any streetlights along the road, so more lighting would make it even better.

    Huis Ten Bosch Forest Villa Accommodation

    We used this Accommodation for a one-night, two-day trip. On the first day, we arrived from Hakata on the Huis Ten Bosch train and took the shuttle bus to Nagasaki Bio Park, where we enjoyed interacting with the animals. In the evening, after returning from the Bio Park, we checked in at Forest Villa for our stay. Right after that, we had a dinner buffet at Restaurant A Coeur Vert at Hotel Amsterdam. The selection was just right and carefully chosen, and everything was very delicious. Afterward, we strolled around the park and returned to Forest Villa. This was our second time staying at Forest Villa, and once again we were impressed by the wonderful nature surrounding it—it really feels like staying in a private villa. For breakfast on the second day, we had the Garden Sandwich Morning Set. Since it was takeout, it felt a bit lonely and not quite satisfying. Next time we stay at Forest Villa, if possible, I would like to have breakfast at Anchors Lounge at Hotel Europe even if it requires an additional fee. (I hope there will be an option to add or change breakfast to this restaurant.) After breakfast, we enjoyed the theme park. For lunch we had Korean stone-pot bibimbap, then took the 3:00 p.m. train back to Hakata. This trip was packed with activities and very satisfying overall; next time, I’d like to take things more slowly and enjoy an even more relaxing stay at Forest Villa—including breakfast.

    Enjoy a stay that feels like a country-style vacation home.

    We stayed here for two nights as a family of four to meet Miffy at Huis Ten Bosch and see the tulips. The benefits were excellent: free passports the next day, early entry to the park by one hour, access to a fireworks viewing area, luggage delivery, and more. It felt like staying in a country-style villa and was very relaxing. There was also a toilet on the second floor, and two twin Rooms. One Room felt like an attic space, which our daughters chose and loved. After arriving and taking a short break, when we walked from our Room toward the park entrance, a staff member outside the villa reception kindly showed us the way. Another staff member carefully explained how the bus and luggage delivery worked since we were leaving early on our last morning. It may be a while before our next trip, but we would like to visit during the illumination season. Our daughters are already saying they want to stay here again.

    We will be staying with you to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary.

    Thank you for everything on our two-night, three-day anniversary trip. All the staff were perfect in their service. Since we were traveling with our dog, our cottage was at the very back of the property, but you provided Shuttle Service for both check-in and check-out. Breakfast was a healthy walk of just under 10 minutes to the restaurant, which was great. The food was excellent as well—we really enjoyed the perfect buffet with plenty of protein. The buildings and surroundings truly felt like being abroad, and our dog was thrilled with the walks too. We will definitely visit again during a season when the flowers are at their best.

    Highly satisfied

    The property has a slightly old feel, but the spacious first-floor living room and two bedrooms on the second floor made for a comfortable stay. Shuttle Service is available from the Room to the front desk. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was very delicious. We also received free admission tickets for the second day, making it an excellent value for money.

    It was very good, but the floor and other areas...

    Overall, it was a very good experience. 【Positives】 - The view was amazing, with birds floating around, creating a relaxing atmosphere. - Although it's located at the edge of Huis Ten Bosch and feels far, the park shuttle bus makes it manageable. - While it lacks the luxury of other Hotels, the tranquility is excellent. - The Room itself was very spacious with multiple lights available, so there were no issues with dimness. 【Concerns】 - When I dropped something in the 2nd-floor bedroom and picked it up, it was covered in dust. Sleeping without a mask was difficult; I wish I had brought my vacuum cleaner from home... However, everything else seemed clean overall. 【Other Notes】 - Regarding ticket exchange for the next day: The first front desk staff explained that "early check-in is available at 9:00 AM tomorrow but this counter opens at 10:00 AM," which left me wondering how to enter the park on time? After checking with others, here’s what I found out: → The front desk operates until around 10 PM at night; you can exchange tickets for the next day after deciding not to re-enter the park that evening (e.g., after watching fireworks at 8 PM).

    The room itself is old, but with the living area on the first floor and bedrooms on the second floor, it has a house-like atmosphere. Our grandchild even called it "home" and said, "Let's go back home," even after visiting Huis Ten Bosch. There are two bedrooms, so even with four people staying, you can sleep comfortably. Children up to elementary school age can stay as Child Sharing Existing Bedding, making it practically free for families of four—very budget-friendly! Breakfast for children incurs an additional charge. You also receive admission tickets for the next day based on the number of guests staying, which makes this facility a great value. For breakfast, you need to walk to a nearby restaurant. Surprisingly, they served sashimi among other dishes—all delicious! However, if it's raining, using an umbrella might be slightly inconvenient. One downside is that since it's an older building, there was a musty smell upon entering. However, with air purifiers installed in the rooms, we didn’t notice it by nighttime when we returned from our outing. If given another opportunity in the future, I would love to stay here again!

    Family Trip with a Baby - Multiple Night Stay

    We stayed with our one-year-old baby and had many inquiries, but each time we received incredibly prompt and courteous responses, allowing us to enjoy our stay and the park with peace of mind. The park access tickets offered as a benefit for accommodation guests could be promoted more (this is a service not available at TDR or USJ!). I rated the bath three stars because while the room bath was fine, the Onsen experience was disappointing. There were very few washing areas, leading to long waits just to use them. Additionally, the spaces between washing areas were narrow, causing water from neighboring showers to splash excessively. After using it on the first day, I decided not to go again. I think measures like entry restrictions should be considered. While we have stayed at Hotel Europe several times before, for families with crawling babies, I recommend Forest accommodations where you can take off your shoes upon entering. The fireworks and theater performances were absolutely wonderful! We will definitely visit again!

    A Quiet Cottage for a Peaceful Stay

    Despite the Obon holiday season, the Late Check-in Plan made everything smooth! The Room was part of an "Omakase Plan," which allowed us to stay at a great value. It was conveniently located near the front desk and very quiet.

    It was excellent!

    We stayed here for a family trip! The atmosphere was bright and homey, making it very comfortable! We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The only minor issue was finding a small ant when we opened the futon, but other than that, everything was perfect, and we had a great time! We’d love to visit again! Thank you so much!

    We stayed with our parents and our dog. It was our first trip with our dog, and it became a very memorable and wonderful experience. Everything we needed, both for us and for the dog, was provided, and the staff warmly welcomed us, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay.     I stayed here 21 yea...

    I stayed here 21 years ago with my children. This trip was planned to stay at the same hotel now that they are adults. The facility has aged, but it didn’t feel unpleasant, and my children seemed to enjoy it as if it were a private house. The air conditioner was noisy, so I turned it off midway. I hope to visit again in the future with my grandchildren. It was a bit disappointing that the swans were no longer there.

    Both the environment and meals are highly satisfying!!

    The location of Forest Villa is exceptional! Situated by the lake in a tranquil environment, I was able to wake up feeling refreshed in the morning. I also enjoyed a graceful morning walk. Furthermore, every meal was superb! I had both breakfast and dinner, each at different locations, but both were exceptionally delicious with great ingredients and sweet vegetables. I thought the price was also reasonable. This quality at this price point left me very satisfied!

    Quiet, spacious, and comfortable.

    The front staff and the driver who guided us to the Room were very kind and heartwarming. Thank you for upgrading our Room! The Room was clean and spacious, with two bedrooms on the second floor, making it comfortable even if family members had different sleeping times. This Hotel is close to the harbor gate, so it was easy to move around using the park bus and canal cruiser within the park. I would like to use it again when visiting Huis Ten Bosch!

    It feels old, but it was a wonderful stay.

    We stayed with our children, and since it was a spacious villa type, we could stay without any worries. Overall, it feels a bit old, but the water facilities have been updated, so there were no particular problems. During our stay, my daughter fell ill, but we are very grateful for the kind assistance from the staff even late at night.

    I called before arri...

    I called before arrival because I couldn't find the parking lot. I was disappointed because, despite asking, I wasn't informed about the difference between the parking for guests and general customers, nor was I told that I could exchange it for a receipt, so I ended up paying as it was. The room was clean and nice.

    It was my first stay...

    It was my first stay in about 10 years. The building is old, but it was clean and beautiful. There are two twin rooms on the second floor, one slightly larger room with a TV and a washbasin, and the other room with only a washbasin. There is also one toilet between the rooms on the second floor. It was sufficient for two families to stay. Additionally, each room has an air purifier. We were traveling with a toddler who did not need meals or bedding, but the front desk kindly provided small-sized pajamas and useful amenities. Although it was unfortunately raining, there were umbrellas available for free rental for each person, and there was a free shuttle service between the reception and the cottage, allowing us to spend our time comfortably without any inconvenience. If I had to say, it would have been even better if there was a free stroller rental for guests (by the way, the rental was 1000 yen). Nonetheless, I would like to use it again.

    Ideal for families with children

    We stayed for one night as a family. It felt like a standalone house, a bit old, but we could relax without worrying about the surroundings even with kids. However, it was quite a hassle to take a bus from the entrance of Huis Ten Bosch to the front desk, and then another bus to the room. We had trouble figuring out the location of the room and almost got lost when returning to the room from inside Huis Ten Bosch. It would be helpful if we could receive a map or something similar.
