We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The sashimi came with daikon carved into a crane, and there was also sekihan (red rice). Everything looked beautiful and tasted great, leaving both our stomachs and hearts full. All of the staff were wonderful and very considerate, which made our time here truly enjoyable. One of my recent pleasures has been traveling during summer vacation with my daughter and grandchild. This year, we chose Kinosaki Marine World. The Accommodation was naturally Kinparo. For two days, we had unlimited entry and re-entry. That was very helpful. We enjoyed the attractions too—like the dolphin trainer experience—and had fun like kids again. Of course, my 6-year-old grandchild was thrilled as well. The meals and the Onsen were great. However, there is room for improvement in the children’s menu. Kids have sharp taste buds. Extra French fries would have been better. It’s similar everywhere, but meals for children are often disappointing. Other than that, everything was comfortable. All three generations had a wonderful time together.

I stayed here to celebrate my son’s birthday and mine. Even though I mistakenly made a Reservation for a twin room instead of a double, they kindly changed it for me. We also received celebratory chocolates, and as always, The Ritz makes me feel elegant every time I visit. The staff and the food were outstanding. I would like to come again next year. It was a birthday trip to celebrate my friend. The cherry blossoms on the grounds were in full bloom, and the garden was beautifully maintained. Above all, the staff’s attentiveness was wonderful. My daughter and I stayed here to celebrate each other’s birthdays. We were upgraded to a spacious Room with views of both the sea and the mountains, and we were happy to relax and truly enjoy our time. We also visited the lounge on the same floor, where we enjoyed a generous selection of alcoholic drinks and delicious hors d’oeuvres plates. We can’t wait to come back again.

We stayed for one night and two days in May, when the fresh greenery was beautiful. All the staff—at the front desk, in the restaurant, and housekeeping—were very pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. The Room was spacious, and the view from the window was outstanding. The Italian course meal was also delicious. After check-out, we enjoyed a trip to Chikubu Island from Nagahama Port right in front of the Accommodation. We plan to visit Shiga again and would definitely like to stay here again.

This was my first stay. The Accommodation is adjacent to the station, making it convenient for sightseeing, and since my friend who traveled with me smokes, they were grateful to find a smoking Room, which is rare these days. The service was excellent, and from our Room on the 24th floor we enjoyed beautiful night views; we could also watch the sunrise and take in a quiet, dreamlike scene. The well-cleaned Room was fully stocked with amenities. Coffee, tea, and sugar were provided, and while drinks in the refrigerator are available for a fee, there is a wide selection. There is also a convenience store nearby, so we were able to relax comfortably in the Room without any hesitation. The breakfast was carefully prepared with thoughtful touches; including local dishes, it ranks among the best of any Hotel I have stayed at. Elevator security also felt reassuring, as the key card only worked for the guest’s floor. I would definitely like to stay again.

Thank you for welcoming us with such warm hospitality! We booked a Room with an open-air bath, and it felt more open than we expected, which made us a bit nervous, so we used it early in the morning and at night when it seemed like no one would be around. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied! We ate so much we could barely move.

The ocean view was just as shown in the photos—absolutely breathtaking! It was my first trip to Kochi Prefecture, and I was able to experience Kochi through the meals as well, making it a very satisfying stay. I don’t think there is any other Accommodation with the sea this close and such a great view from the deck. Thank you to all the staff for your kind and attentive service.

Shikotsuko Onsen was very quiet, with no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so we were able to relax peacefully. The front desk, lobby lounge, and restaurant areas felt calm, spacious, and comfortable—perhaps also because the Hotel was not fully booked that day. I have often stayed at small guesthouses and pensions recently, so it was great to experience proper Hotel-style service again, even though this was an annex of a major Hotel. Meals at a Ryokan are often more than I can finish, but here the portions were just right. The pasta in particular was excellent. I was also very satisfied with the services such as drink service at dinner, 24-hour coffee service, gelato after dinner (especially the liqueur-topped gelato, which is available for an additional fee), replenishment of towels and water after dinner, and more. It was also nice that we could use the main building’s private open-air bath at a very reasonable price. The complimentary ramune soda was delicious as well. Two points concerned me: first, the Hotel’s Reservation page stated that they would contact guests by phone or email a few days before arrival for confirmation, but we did not receive any contact. Since it also said that staying might not be possible if there is no response, I called the day before; they simply replied that my Reservation existed without any apology for the lack of notice. Second, while the large in-room jacuzzi filled quickly despite its size and was enjoyable once inside, it was difficult to get out because it is deep and high-sided. This could be dangerous for older guests; having steps or at least a non-slip step stool would make bathing much safer.

This was our first stay! Just as the Reviews said, it was a very dog-friendly Accommodation. I accidentally left a large piece of luggage at check-out, but even though it was during a holiday period, they responded quickly and mailed it to me, which was a huge help. We only had breakfast this time, but it was delicious. Next time, I’d like to book dinner as well. It’s an Accommodation that’s kind to both dogs and guests, and we had a wonderful holiday trip.
