During a 3-day, 2-night trip visiting Kanazawa → Hida Takayama → Kamikochi, we stayed in a Room with a private bath on the second night. The atmosphere of the Accommodation, the Room itself, and the staff’s service were all excellent; however, the only disappointment was the open-air bath attached to the Room. Although there was a net provided to remove debris, once you get into the tub, settled leaves (or similar) stir up and float around, making them impossible to fully remove and they cling to your body. I understand that this may be part of what an open-air bath is like, but at similar baths we have stayed at in the past, there was a simple cover when not in use so debris was not much of an issue...

Specializing in No Meals Included, it might be a great option for an affordable stay at Misasa Onsen.

I stayed here with my grandchild. At the very least, I think there should be a table tennis table.

First of all, the bath was great. Indeed, it feels a bit old, but the starry sky viewed from the spacious open-air bath was the best. The temperature is a bit low, but since the bathtub is shallow, I was able to enjoy the Onsen slowly. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious.

I’ve stayed at the NARAYA Group’s accommodations many times. The reasons include No Meals Included plans, having an in-room Onsen (though not in every Accommodation), and relatively new properties. For dinner, I have a few favorite restaurants, but I also enjoy trying different places each time. “Yukawa Terrace” is in a great location—just a few minutes on foot from Yubatake—and it’s convenient with restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. On top of that, the hot water in the Room is excellent quality. I come to Kusatsu for this water, so I’m very satisfied. I park at the Yubatake Tourist Parking Lot and walk close to 10 minutes while pulling my suitcase, but it doesn’t bother me too much (though it may get tougher as I get older). I want the coffee machine from the Room! LOL There are no skincare amenities like lotion or cream, so please don’t forget to bring your own. I’ll be back again.

I stayed at this Accommodation during the summer season.\nThe entire building had undergone major renovations, and it was very clean, making for a comfortable stay.\nThe food was delicious, and the chef-made omelets at the breakfast buffet were outstanding.\nIn addition to the large public bath, there was also a private family bath, and I could use the free massage chairs. After bathing, it was wonderful to cool off in the evening on the balcony on the third floor while enjoying a beer.\nIn winter, staying in the Ichinose area offers better access to the ski resort, so I would love to stay here again if I have another chance during summer.

It was great that I was able to find an Accommodation in Yamanaka Onsen, considering the rental car parking, my husband’s Accommodation, and a place for me to take a nap while I was on the KAGASPA Trail with him. Check-in was from 15:00, but you kindly let me in early so I could rest—thank you. Since I didn’t have time to enjoy the Onsen or anything else, I’m sorry that I can’t really share much feedback.

I wasn’t even sure what “KKR” was at first, but I never imagined that it could be this affordable, this delicious, and this comfortable based on the price when I made the Reservation. The two front desk staff members at check-in were extremely polite, and the dining staff were truly kind and attentive both at night and in the morning. I wouldn’t recommend it to people who only value new, luxury Accommodation, but for an ordinary person like me, finding an Accommodation this satisfying for just 13,000 yen these days might be rare. I’d love to stay again someday. My heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff. Thank you very much.

The property located within the ski slopes offers excellent access. While the age of the building and facilities cannot be denied, the onsen, with its Yunohana, is quite pleasant. All the staff members are very nice. Perhaps it's the nature of the area, but it was very good.

It was a wonderful space. I’ve also uploaded photos, so I hope you’ll take a look. I was amazed at how beautifully this place has been designed—what could otherwise feel a bit small is made to feel so special. My wife, our 3-year-old child, and I stayed here and were very satisfied! The room was very clean, and our child was thrilled, saying, “The top bunk is my spot!” The sink area and bath were comfortable with everything we needed, and the TENTIAL sandals were also very comfortable to wear. I think this place will change people’s image of a “garage house hotel.” One thing I hope will improve going forward is the food. Dinner looked great—the plating and tableware were beautiful and enjoyable visually. On the other hand, the overall flavor felt like it could use one more step up. In particular, while the venison main dish was prepared in a very approachable way, those who love game meat might find it a little lacking. I was also personally disappointed that there wasn’t a glass red wine option to pair with the venison main. That said, since it was such an easy-to-eat dish, perhaps the by-the-glass selection was chosen intentionally to match that style. And breakfast— this is something I really hope you improve. The rice had dried out and become hard, which honestly made me sad. Personally, I feel breakfast can greatly change the overall impression of a Hotel stay. Because this Facility is so wonderful otherwise, I strongly felt you should put more effort into breakfast. Also, while the female staff member in charge of dinner came across as highly professional, at breakfast it felt like operations still weren’t running smoothly. In the end, after-meal drinks took quite a while to arrive and we had to wait. The families on both sides of us seemed to be in the same situation as well, so I hope this will be improved going forward. I’ve written various things about the meals but—above all—this place itself is truly lovely. I think it’s definitely worth staying at this Hotel. There was also a small issue during our stay this time; however, your response was very smooth and pleasant. Including how you handled an irregular situation like that, my personal evaluation is very high. As an aside: when my child and I woke up early for a walk in the morning—we actually found a stag beetle! My child was overjoyed as well; including that experience too, it became a wonderful memory.

We stayed for one night over the Obon holidays as a family, and everything was excellent. The Facility matched the photos, was very clean, and we had a truly comfortable stay. When we arrived, the tarp and BBQ set were already prepared, so we could start enjoying a barbecue right away—wonderful. There was also a Miele front-opening dishwasher, which made it very convenient for a large group to wash and dry dishes automatically. What we especially liked was that the LDK is on the first floor, and there is also one bedroom on the first floor. Even among luxury villas I researched extensively, it’s rare to find this layout plus a sauna, so I think it’s quite valuable. It also seems very easy to use when traveling with elderly guests or anyone with limited mobility, since it reduces the need to go up and down stairs. The wood deck is designed to be hard to see from the road, and it isn’t fully exposed from neighboring homes either—privacy was well considered. You can see an apartment-like building a few hundred meters away, so you probably wouldn’t want to sunbathe completely nude outside (haha), but it still feels nicely private. The sauna goes up to 90°C maximum, so those who prefer an authentic high-temperature sauna might find it slightly lacking. However, relaxing outdoors after the cold bath on an infinity chair or in a hammock was truly amazing. We had originally extended late check-out by two hours, and when we asked for an additional two-hour extension, they kindly responded quickly since there were no upcoming Reservations. The staff service was excellent as well. We were satisfied with everything—the Facility, layout, comfort level, privacy considerations, and staff support. It made for a wonderful family trip. The hot spring water quality is excellent—neither too hot nor too lukewarm. It’s a wonderful bath. While the amenities and Room facilities are somewhat basic, they were sufficient for our needs. I chose this place because of the “24-hour stay” wording, but in reality check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. I would really like to see this improved.

The facility has a vintage charm, and the bath exudes a sense of history with impressive views from the open-air bath. The staff are friendly, making for a comfortable stay.

Considering the balance with the price, the cost performance is excellent. However, while the hot spring source is hot, the bath is a bit lukewarm. It might be fine in summer, but I thought it should be a bit hotter in winter.

We stayed here to celebrate our dog’s birthday. 2 adults and 2 dogs. The Room was very nice, and we were able to enjoy the Onsen comfortably. However, dinner was shabu-shabu with high-quality international beef and it was delicious, but there was only one plate of sashimi. Even though the Room and Onsen were wonderful, we felt a bit disappointed with the meals. I think one plate of meat is fine, but it would be better if condiments and sashimi were prepared individually for each person. Breakfast was supposed to be delivered in a box, but there were no details about the explanation or where it would be placed, so we ended up searching all over the Room and the food got cold. Also, we felt the seasoning was a little strong. It was nice to relax with minimal staff interaction, but we also felt there was too much self-service for what you pay. At least for meals, it would be better if they could deliver them and set them up for us. We’re not sure about staying again next time. We were very satisfied with the Room and Onsen. We think this Accommodation is great for larger groups of friends who want to have fun together.
