The Accommodation was very clean and well maintained, and it was very comfortable. I’ve used the bath many times in the past, so it was exactly as expected. I’ll be visiting again in September, so thank you in advance.

We stayed here for a family trip during Silver Week. The adults relaxed with the bedrock bath and the Onsen, while our daughter watched YouTube on the projector. She was very happy and said she wants to stay here again. Since we booked without meals, we used the tabletop IH stove in the Accommodation to make hot pot. It became a wonderful memory.

I stayed here for two days while my child had baseball games in Iwamizawa. It was just over a 20-minute drive from Iwamizawa, and having an Onsen was great. Also, since I needed to use ice packs the next day, I asked the front desk if they could freeze them for me. It was a bit of an imposition, but they kindly agreed. It really helped—thank you very much. The only slightly disappointing point was that the water pressure at the sink was a bit weak. I also thought it would be nice if there were an ice machine. If I have another chance to visit the area, I would like to stay at this Accommodation again. Thank you for your hospitality.

I’m from Chiba Prefecture. I love Kawayu Onsen and have visited many times. There are high-, medium- (open-air), and low-temperature baths, and every one feels wonderful. During Silver Week, I really wanted my elderly mother to experience this onsen, so we traveled together from Chiba for 3 nights and 4 days. She had said she couldn’t travel anymore, and although I persuaded her to come, she ended up loving the onsen and was truly happy we made the trip. She also ate well and seemed to regain her energy. Thank you for accommodating our requests when I left a note at the time of booking regarding the room location. It was an unforgettable, wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

We stayed here after the Neputa Festival and because we planned to sightsee along the west coast of Aomori the next day, and found it very convenient. Since it was after the festival ended, we arrived around 10:00 p.m., but even though it was described as a light meal, we were able to enjoy a satisfying dinner. The Facility and amenities were solidly built, and you could feel their age. As a resort property, it also let us experience Aomori’s great nature, and the Onsen was excellent. If I had to mention one thing, I didn’t mind clearing away our dishes ourselves, but this wasn’t clearly communicated, and there were also a few staff members who seemed somewhat inexperienced. Overall it offered excellent value for money, and I would like to stay again.

Stayed in a Twin Room alone two weeks after the opening. Most guests are foreigners, and the city of Takayama is also filled with international visitors! The staff seemed inexperienced but within an acceptable range. Everything being brand new made the stay very pleasant. The TV is a smart TV comparable to those in a Business Hotel—excellent! The beddings were extremely comfortable for sleeping. The mixed open-air bath requires swimwear, so be sure to bring your own. While the Hotel was great, dining in Takayama city felt tourist-priced; location needs consideration. Famous Hida beef restaurants were fully packed. A hotel I would love to revisit!

Conveniently located between JR Station and the Otaru Canal, about a 10-minute walk to either. The Room isn’t large, but it’s comfortable enough. The refrigerator is on the small side. The large public bath and open-air bath were great with well-stocked amenities, but bath towels and hand towels are not provided there, so bring them from your Room or request extras at the front desk. The breakfast buffet is delicious, with each item carefully prepared. Reasonably priced and great value for money.

We stayed as a couple. To be honest, we chose this Accommodation because of the low price, but the Room was spacious, the bedding was clean, and we were able to relax comfortably. There were guests in the next Room, and there were times when construction was going on outside, but it didn’t bother us at all—perhaps because the soundproofing is solid. The toilet in the Room does not have a bidet seat, but it seems the shared toilets on the floor are equipped with one. The bath in a separate building had pleasantly silky water, and the washing area was spacious and comfortable. The open-air bath is very close to trees and has quite an atmospheric feel, so we recommend using it in the morning. Also, please be careful as the walkway can be slippery on rainy days. Next time, we would like to use the private bath as well.

Recommended by a gourmet friend, I stayed at this accommodation. Having lived in Eastern Hokkaido before, I had visited the surrounding area often but was not very familiar with Lake Kussharo. Curious about the place, I decided to visit and was immediately impressed by the stunning mountain views from the lodge. The rare snowfall for this region added to its charm this year. The experience of checking in via canoe or snowshoe from Lake Kussharo was truly memorable. The accommodation building featured facilities such as a sauna, cold bath, and barrel bath. It was delightful to cool off while enjoying the snowy scenery after using the sauna. For the first time, I also experienced tending a fireplace with firewood, which allowed me to spend mindful and relaxing moments. The meals were Chinese-inspired cuisine and absolutely delicious! The chef skillfully prepared luxurious ingredients like abalone and shark fin for an unforgettable dining experience. Thank you for kindly preparing additional mapo tofu as well—it was fantastic! Breakfast was equally exceptional. While having dinner, it started snowing outside; we appreciated how staff thoughtfully cleared snow just before we returned to our room in the accommodation building. Although it would be nice if improvements could be made regarding some minor points—such as whether or not the baths are onsen or addressing slight odors in rooms with toilets and showers—the overall experience far outweighed these small concerns. It left such an impression that I ended up making a summer reservation before leaving! This place is truly remarkable—I look forward to visiting again during another season for more unique experiences. Thank you so much for providing such precious memories!

We visited this Accommodation on the last day of Silver Week, hoping to relax and reconnect with nature. We’ve stayed at glamping-style Hotels before, but since this Facility is run by an outdoor gear company, it felt even more like real camping. The Shuttle Service from Nagano Station made access very convenient for us as we were traveling by train. By chance, we were the only couple staying there, so it felt almost like having the place to ourselves. The dinner was incredibly creative, unique, and delicious. The paired drinks were thoughtfully matched all the way through dessert—truly a wonderful meal. Not only the dishes but also the bread and desserts were outstanding; they tasted as if a specialist had made them. Although the chef is young, he is clearly very talented. The nut bread at breakfast was especially memorable. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t see the stars or sunrise. Still, we fully enjoyed burning plenty of firewood at the campfire bar and spending a lovely evening chatting over drinks while listening to live music. Although the open season is short—from early summer to early autumn—we would love to return during the autumn foliage season. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

In late autumn in Niseko, I experienced an unparalleled luxurious time at a hospitality-filled hotel nestled among beautifully yellow-tinted mountains. The kind staff, fascinating artworks, and delicious cuisine were all one-of-a-kind, creating the perfect accommodation designed for enjoying peaceful moments. During a morning walk, I had the chance to meet Mr. Grick, and just before check-out, a Long-tailed Tit appeared by the window—these lucky encounters made my stay unforgettable and turned this place into one I am truly glad to have visited. It is an exceptional accommodation that I would love to visit again.

A charming accommodation limited to only three groups per day, offering an exceptional stay with its location and outstanding hospitality, allowing guests to fully enjoy a country-like retreat from check-in to check-out. The twin room features a veranda overlooking a vineyard, with trains running almost parallel to the accommodation at its edge. In the evening, you can witness the slow passage of night trains against the backdrop of a serene countryside sunset. The bathroom is designed with glass walls (ensuring privacy from outside), allowing guests to gaze at the night sky and stars when turning off the lights during nighttime baths. This unique feature, combined with silky-smooth onsen water directly sourced from natural hot springs, invites repeated indulgence throughout your stay—enjoying unlimited access without any interruptions. Additionally, meals include handmade dishes such as Bungo beef and pot-au-feu in perfect portions that are simply delightful. Guests can also savor wine made in-house from grapes grown on-site—a rare treat due to its limited production. Located in Yufuin, one of Japan's most famous onsen destinations, this is truly an extraordinary accommodation experience!

I’m originally from Tokachi and now live in Kanagawa Prefecture. Every time I return home, I visit hot springs, and with this stay at Meto Onsen I’ve finally completed my tour of all the hot spring inns in the Tokachi area. I had long wanted to visit Meto Onsen, but due to recent bear sightings I saved it for last. We were blessed with great weather and were able to fully enjoy this secluded hot spring and the delicious meals—I’m truly glad we made it and am very satisfied. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality.

The Room was spacious, bright, and clean, and we were very satisfied. We stayed as a group of six across two generations including children, and the 2LDK layout was perfect. Since two of us are smokers, we were also able to relax and smoke in the Room, which made everything even better. We would like to stay again. We checked various sites, but in the end IKYU offered the best price and felt the most reliable.

I was looking forward to the Onsen, known for its 800-year history. It was a free-flowing natural hot spring with very hot water—truly excellent. The meals used local ingredients, and I enjoyed the stylish tableware, dining area, and jazz music. The staff were also very kind. The Room was barrier-free, and I felt it would be suitable even for wheelchair users. The only disappointment was that, since it is an older Facility, some maintenance seemed lacking—for example, a coin locker was broken. Overall, I was satisfied. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family of four, and the kids were thrilled—they’re already saying they want to come again in winter. The meals were delicious and more than we could finish, so we almost felt bad leaving any. Drinks were all-you-can-drink, and the ice-cold draft beer was fantastic. The kids also enjoyed making their own original drinks. We also loved being able to enjoy the free-flowing Onsen anytime, and went in many times. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t see the stars, but next time we’d like to come back specifically to enjoy the starry sky.

A wonderful luxury villa quietly nestled in a picture-perfect setting with views of Mt. Komagatake. The king-size bed, plush high-quality towels, and thoughtfully selected amenities had the feel of a first-class Hotel. The refined full kitchen and large refrigerator were very convenient, and the carefully considered lighting, appliances, furniture, fireplace, and high ceilings added true villa character—an Accommodation that clearly reflects great attention to detail. The in-Room Onsen had a silky texture with a high pH; the water quality was so smooth it almost felt slippery. It was gentle on the skin and deeply relaxing. There was also a heater next to the towel rack—perhaps another thoughtful touch to help towels dry quickly? I wished there were also a separate spa Facility building. Dinner BBQ was extremely satisfying, with plenty of carefully chosen meats and seafood. The jingisukan lamb BBQ and finishing soup curry were delicious as well. In this season there weren’t many insects even outdoors, so we could enjoy it while feeling close to nature. We enjoyed the pumpkin dessert back in the Room with the provided drip coffee—absolutely delightful. Very satisfied overall. The large wall-mounted TV in the Room was easy to watch, and when there was an issue with the connection, staff came right away to fix it for us. Breakfast was a full Western-style meal, and everything tasted great. The welcome drink service at the bar in the front building upon arrival had just started recently, but we enjoyed lovely cocktails while looking out at Mt. Komagatake through the window—it was a stylish moment that made us excited for our stay. I think it’s an excellent idea. I’ve seen comments saying people travel specifically for Angel Grand Villa Hakodate—and I completely agree now. We found an Accommodation we can truly recommend; you can really feel how much the staff want to make things even better here. We’d love to visit again. We had a wonderful birthday eve!

I stayed for one night on my way back from hiking in Oze. Although I was traveling solo, they kindly welcomed me, which I truly appreciated. The building shows its age, but it was very well cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. There are only a few staff members, but just as the Reviews said, everyone was kind, polite, and welcoming with a smile. I also appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. The meals were excellent—especially the locally grown rice—and they even encouraged me to have seconds, so I was able to eat plenty. I was also grateful that the bath could be used all night except during cleaning hours. It’s a sulfur spring bath, but not too strong or harsh, so I could soak slowly and relieve my fatigue. I didn’t see any foreign guests during my stay, and other guests had good manners as well; overall it felt calm and relaxing throughout. When I visit Oze again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

When I stepped into the Onsen, it felt silky—almost like a lotion on my skin! It left my skin wonderfully moisturized. I didn’t have meals included, but there were complimentary services such as coffee, and I was able to relax very comfortably.

Other than check-in, check-out, and meals, we hardly met anyone. We were able to fully enjoy an exceptional level of privacy.
