The staff were very kind, and the beach right in front was beautiful. Since it was my first time, I stayed at a different luxury hotel within the resort the next day. While it had a luxurious feel and was nice, I loved this beach so much that I came back here the following day. The weather was great, and I enjoyed wading into the sea up to my knees—it felt wonderful. Next time, I'll stay at this hotel for a multiple night stay! Having two bedrooms in the room along with a microwave and washing machine was very convenient. The bathtub is only available as an outdoor jacuzzi, so on windy or cold days it might be slightly inconvenient; however, overall my stay was comfortable. I joined the morning walk program where we had perfect weather and even got to enjoy an off-season private experience! The explanations about plants were fascinating, making it both fun and fulfilling. My child kept asking for quizzes repeatedly—thank you for your patience despite causing some trouble! Thank you also for taking us to Alamanda to feed turtles. Although it seemed quiet during off-season with fewer people around, there were surprisingly many children competing over turtle food during feeding time! Unfortunately, adults cannot participate in feeding activities if they go alone since food is not provided for them. This resort is enjoyable even without needing a car; however, having simple meals like rice balls (onigiri), sandwiches or light bento boxes available within the hotel or resort would be fantastic—especially something easy for kids to eat quickly! There are picnic-friendly spots in nearby parks where rice balls would have been perfect... It would be great if such options could be ordered from hotels or made more accessible somehow. Every day now I'm thinking about when I'll get another chance to visit Miyako Island again!

I stayed here in August. As an Accommodation affiliated with the Japan Association for the Protection of Secret Hot Springs, it was incredibly quiet—and I was surprised when the inn suddenly appeared in such a secluded setting. Surrounded by greenery, I was soothed by the sound of the river and insects. The main building has a wonderful sense of history, while the Room had been renovated and was very comfortable. Overall, it isn’t overly luxurious, but it feels cozy and relaxing. The mineral-rich Maki no Shimizu spring water could be enjoyed even inside the Room, and it tasted great. For bathing, you can reserve Mountain Bath (Deep Bath / Stone Bath) for private use depending on the time slot. If you want to secure your preferred time, I recommend checking in early. The large public bath that’s available anytime also had a pleasant open-air bath. However, in summer there are horseflies around, so it may be hard to fully relax. The Onsen water quality was excellent—my skin felt silky smooth afterward. Meals were served in a private dining room; both the sliced raw carp and meat dishes were generous portions. The breakfast rice porridge cooked with hot spring water was especially outstanding. They also offered many local sake options, all of which were delicious. There is a smoking area near the front desk, and at certain times I noticed a lingering cigarette smell. Overall though, I was very satisfied. I’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Dinner was delicious as well—an unusual style of half-buffet with robatayaki grilling—and the large public bath with an open-air bath was very relaxing. The staff were courteous and attentive, which we really appreciated. The Facility is a bit old, but we chose this Accommodation in Tateshina as the place to commemorate reuniting with my wife for the first time in 50 years, and we were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

I live not too far from Karuizawa. A friend from Tokyo really wanted to spend some quiet, relaxing time in Karuizawa, so we stayed there together. It feels like an Accommodation that combines the best of both a Hotel and a rental villa. The staff may feel politely hands-off at times, but if you ask, they respond with genuine care. Shuttle Service from Karuizawa Station is also available, so if you need it, it’s best to inquire and Reserve in advance. Although it’s close to Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza, you can step just a little way off the main road and escape the crowds. I also saw guests staying solo who spent their time reading throughout their stay. Rather than coming for a typical Hotel experience, you’ll appreciate this place most if you stay here to enjoy your own time. At check-in, we received lounge vouchers worth 1,000 yen per person. We had planned to have dinner at a restaurant outside and didn’t find anything we wanted at the shop. When I asked at the front desk, they suggested having homemade ginger ale in our Room after dinner. You order it at the front desk and bring it back yourself, but it was a great suggestion. If I have friends who want to stay in Karuizawa again, this is a Hotel I would recommend.

For vacations of two days or more, I choose a vacation rental rather than a Hotel or an Onsen Ryokan. From my experience with several rentals, prices and the quality of Facility management vary widely depending on the operator. This property is well maintained with no musty smell inside, towels can be replaced if you go to the management office yourself, the price is reasonable, and the area is quiet—I'd happily stay here again.

Spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. With the Plan including parking, I was able to check in with peace of mind. There’s nothing that can be done about it, but everything was perfect except for the squat-style toilet. Sorry—I’m not comfortable with squat toilets. In particular, the young woman at reception was very pleasant and incredibly soothing. I had a great check-in and check-out experience. Thank you so much!!

I planned to go to Nara for a meal, and since I was there anyway, I stayed one night. The high ceiling and the curved vanity area made it feel more spacious than it actually was. It seemed almost fully booked and there were many families with children, but the Room was quiet and comfortable. The bathtub was also roomy. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and I’d like to come back again for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious too, with a clean and well-kept buffet.

The autumn leaves were very beautiful from the room. There were many tourists from overseas, but there were no issues, and it was a great experience to chat in the open-air bath. The staff seemed to include those proficient in languages, showing their efforts as an accommodation. The variety of uniquely designed baths was enjoyable. The food was also delicious. However, the reservation method for private baths may need some consideration.

We stayed in the dome during midsummer in the Kanto region in July. The temperature was about 5–6°C cooler, and the dome was fully equipped with air conditioning, so we were able to stay very comfortably. We could also watch app videos on the projector, and some Plans allow pets. It was amazing.

I was finally able to visit “Ura-Kusatsu Tou,” a place I’d been curious about for a long time. Located in the Ura-Kusatsu area, just a short distance from the bustle of Yubatake, the moment you step inside you’ll find a beautifully curated space where traditional craftsmanship and modern design come together. Every corner of the Accommodation is picture-perfect. From interiors accented with traditional crafts to warm, inviting lighting, you can feel the attention to detail throughout. It was an Accommodation with a calm atmosphere—perfect for an adults-only getaway. Relax from the core with “Jizo Gensen” The greatest highlight here is, of course, the Onsen fed by “Jizo Gensen.” Among Kusatsu’s many hot spring sources, “Jizo-no-Yu” is said to be rare due to its low output. Its gentle feel on the skin and subtle milky hue were wonderfully soothing, and I could truly relax from deep within. Not only in the large public bath but throughout the building, there are thoughtful touches that create a sense of gentle “sway,” making it feel as if everyday fatigue simply melts away. Dinner and breakfast were served in a serene dining space. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious enough to make you happy with each bite. Breakfast also felt luxurious: colorful small plates lined up alongside freshly cooked rice. An Accommodation where you can fully enjoy both the Onsen and the cuisine—I left completely satisfied in both heart and stomach. The Room was spotless and comfortable—functional yet designed with a calming Japanese aesthetic. The staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness; thanks to their courteous service, my stay was pleasant from start to finish. It had been some time since my last visit to Kusatsu Onsen, but this trip helped me rediscover its charm all over again. This wonderful Accommodation lets you experience both the excellence of Jizo Gensen and modern comfort at once—somewhere I would love to return again.

My grandchild happily joined in activities like catching sweetfish and baking bread. We also enjoyed the pool to the fullest. The Onsen was great too.

Thank you for hosting us for a Multiple Night Stay with meals included. As requested in the comments at the time of Reservation, you kindly changed the meal menu between the first and second days, and we enjoyed both very much. The staff were naturally friendly and easy to talk to while still being professional, which made our stay very comfortable. We look forward to staying with you again.

This was our first stay with three dogs. The meals and the Onsen were excellent. The Room was very clean and comfortable. Above all, the staff were kind, making this a truly warm and welcoming Accommodation. We will definitely return. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Although it was extremely hot, we were blessed with good weather and were able to relax. Driving from Kyoto via the national highway felt far (since we have a kei car and can get pressured on the expressway). The first time, we stayed at Nisshokan. This time, due to renovations, we stayed at Nagisakan—it was spacious and we could take our time. I had knee surgery in February and worked hard through painful rehabilitation, so being able to finally enjoy the Onsen again was truly wonderful. Everyone at the Hotel was kind, and it was very soothing. Thank you very much.

Two families from Osaka and Tokyo stayed together and enjoyed the night garden pool and Disney. We were a large group with children aged 10, 8, 5, and 2 (two of them were 2 years old). The garden pool was great—safe even for small children—and they had so much fun that they kept saying they wanted to play more. There were plenty of lifeguards on duty, and they spoke to us right away and helped whenever needed, which made us feel very reassured. We wanted to dine at the garden restaurant, but it was fully booked with Reservations, so we ate poolside instead. However, the tables were small and there wasn’t much lighting, so it wasn’t ideal for a meal. That was our only disappointment. We chose the Family Happy Magic Room, and the kids were completely satisfied just spending time in the Room as well. We weren’t sure how things would go with such a big group, but all the staff were always smiling and made our stay truly enjoyable. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

My husband grew up in a ranch in Hokkaido, while I was raised in the city. Drawn to this thatched-roof Accommodation, we stayed here for the first time. From the view at the entrance, we were amazed by the extraordinary, nostalgic buildings and the rice fields spreading out in front of them! We both fell completely in love with it. The Onsen is also wonderful—the free-flowing natural spring water is slightly lukewarm, perfect for a long soak. It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. What’s especially impressive about this Accommodation is the many furnishings and antiques placed throughout, delighting the eyes everywhere you look! It feels like visiting an art museum. Truly amazing! My husband can be quite particular, but he absolutely loved it and says he definitely wants to come again in autumn. Getting to the annex using the cart and monorail was also fun and brought back childhood memories. Thank you so much for such a wonderful place.

The Room was spacious and really great. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was very convenient. My child vomited in the bedroom at night, and I cleaned it up myself; being able to move my child to the other bedroom during that time was a big help. When I went to the front desk to let them know what happened, they told me not to worry, which made me feel relieved. What was disappointing was that we couldn’t use the public bath, and that the pool hours were only until 5:00 PM. It would have been much easier to use if the pool were available until around 6:00–7:00 PM, but in the end it didn’t fit our schedule, so we left without using it.

We used this property for a family gathering to celebrate a special occasion. All the staff were very kind and attentive, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay. The Onsen is hot, but it warms you up wonderfully. The meals were beautifully presented, and even the simple dishes served in small bowls were delicious. I was completely satisfied with every dish. The Facility has many stairs, so it’s a good workout for your legs, and the hallways are lined with one painting after another—making even the long corridors enjoyable!! All of the staff were very kind as well. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us!!

It was our first time glamping, and the Room was very clean. The location was perfect, and even with our car parked there was a wide grassy area—enough space to play badminton. The meal selection was plentiful, with meat, seafood, and vegetables, and it also came with rice balls. They even included a small amount of soy sauce so we could make grilled rice balls, which were delicious. The staff were all very kind and made us feel welcome. I gave the bath 4 stars because there is only a shower—fine for this season, but in winter I’d want to soak in a bathtub, so I deducted one point. It’s a place I would definitely like to visit again!
