Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, all very delicious, and we were completely satisfied. I only wished the tempura had been served freshly made, but it was still tasty and satisfying. Breakfast was a healthy Japanese-style meal with many small side dishes that went perfectly with rice, and I was happy to be able to have three extra bowls of rice. The private bath was a bit hot, but we could adjust the temperature. The large public bath was also clean, and we were able to relax in the Onsen. The waterfall shower is right in front of you, and they even provide coins for it—excellent. The balance of food, price, and overall satisfaction was very good. We also received discounted ski tickets, which made our ski experience great value as well. They are flexible with breakfast times for hikers and can accommodate bento lunches too, which I found very convenient. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

There are very few Business Hotels in Yamashiro Onsen. Thanks to this Hotel, I was able to stay at an affordable price. I really appreciate that breakfast is free. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and the bath facilities were perfectly adequate for a business stay. The amenities are well stocked, which is a welcome service for women. Free tickets to the nearby public bath were provided, which I thought was a great service. You can also take your preferred shampoo and other items from those provided by the Hotel. The lighting in the Room has an adjustment that can get extremely bright—200 points. Doing office work in a dim Room is tough, so I felt they really understand what guests need. Next time I come to Yamashiro Onsen for work, I will stay here again. Thank you very much.

We chose this Accommodation for our kids, who love buffets. The buffet used plenty of ingredients typical of Gunma Prefecture, which we found really interesting! The manga corner and table tennis were also a hit with the kids!

You can see the sunrise from both the room and the bath. The weather was nice, so it was a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious, and I had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much!

The Onsen was excellent, and it felt like a place where you could relax and take your time in the bath. The meals were also delicious. In particular, breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and I thought items like simmered dishes and agedashi tofu would be great to serve at dinner as well.

One person had to be a No Show at the last minute, but they calculated the Hot Spring Tax only for the number of guests who stayed, which was very kind. An overseas staff member assisted us at the front desk, and their language, guidance, and service were excellent—I was truly impressed. The Room was also divided into two separate areas inside, each with its own door, which solved my husband’s snoring issue. There was a large public bath and a microwave as well, which was convenient. It was a bit disappointing that the parking lot can fit only four cars when parked tightly, and that the futons were thin. I think it would be even better if thicker mattresses were introduced. That said, the hospitality was truly outstanding; I work in customer service too, and it made me want to learn from them. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us during our stay.

Very convenient for skiers. Lift discount vouchers are available in the off-season in March. Unfortunately, I didn’t know about them on the first day and couldn’t use one. Many Hotels around here are like this, but it’s great that you can still take a bath after check-out once you’re done skiing. The open-air bath has excellent water quality, but it was a bit disappointing that after check-out only the indoor bath is available. The meals were more than enough, and I didn’t have room for the all-you-can-eat imoni soup and dessert. I wanted to have the imoni soup the next morning even if it was just reheated, but it seems it’s only served at night. I thought it would be nice if the foreign staff smiled a bit more, but since I train Hotel employees as a Japanese-language teacher, I tend to be overly critical. They are probably doing their best.

It seemed that it was not a busy season, so our Room was upgraded. The Room had both a Japanese-style area and a bed, and there was also a kotatsu, so we were able to relax comfortably. The Onsen was excellent, with thick, mineral-rich water that made our skin smooth and warmed our bodies. It is close to the hells, and it's a Property we would like to stay at again.

I stayed in November, and the unique silky texture of the bath was pleasant, offering a warmth different from other Onsen. The meals were delicious, with flavors crafted by an award-winning chef, leaving me completely satisfied. This time, I stayed in a room with a bed. The Ryokan staff were kind and attentive, making my stay entirely satisfying.

I experienced “true richness.” I stayed for one night and two days as a reward to myself, hoping to enjoy local cuisine cooked over an irori hearth. The “authentic food” I was served far exceeded my expectations. It was made using only truly excellent local ingredients, and in particular, the pairing of the duck broth after the duck shabu-shabu with 100% buckwheat soba was sublime—a perfect match of the real and the real. I felt this kind of deliciousness simply can’t be found in the city, and it was only the second time in my life that food has genuinely moved me. That’s how overwhelming it was. By the way, it wasn’t just about the meals—the hydrogen Onsen also felt incredibly refreshing, as if my cells were being revitalized. The Onsen can be enjoyed as a private reservation.

I arrived by motorcycle on a rainy day, and they kindly allowed me to park in front of the entrance where it wouldn’t get wet, which made carrying my luggage much easier. I really appreciated that thoughtful consideration. The guest Room is a bit dated, but it was no different from a typical Route Inn. The Room key was the old-style type, which felt nostalgic. The Room was properly cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. Since I didn’t want to go out in the rain, I had dinner inside the Hotel and it was delicious. Breakfast was also similar to what I usually have at Route Inn, but it felt like there were more kinds of bread. Whenever I go touring, I enjoy staying at Route Inns in various places. Collecting Route Inn keychains is fun too.

The dinner offered a great variety and was delicious—we were very satisfied. Every dish was excellent. Of course, breakfast was also delicious… The property was clean, and we had a comfortable stay. We would love to stay here again.

My spouse and I stayed with our miniature dachshund and chose the BBQ course. After arriving, we checked in at Bianco. We were then shown to our Room, and everything was explained carefully, including how the Room and the public Onsen work. You can buy a 24-hour pass for three public baths at Gozen-yu for 600 yen. We started with a soak at Gozen-yu, then took our dog for a walk around town before dinner. The atmosphere is lovely, but to be honest there aren’t really any tourist facilities like souvenir shops (lol). There are walking paths too, but we decided not to go into the mountains because we were worried about bears. Before dinner, they brought us the meat for the BBQ. A one-drink option is included, so I ordered a craft beer. The meal was more filling than expected and very tasty. One thing to note: you cook the rice yourself using a mess tin (camping-style pot), so it might feel challenging if it’s your first time—though I’m used to it as a camper. It felt less like staying at a Ryokan and more like casual glamping. Also, since you’re grilling as you eat, it’s not really a sit-down-and-relax style meal. After dinner we went to our second bath, Satsuki-yu. However, Arifuku Onsen is very hot, so you can’t soak for long. My wife tried to go for one more bath at Yayoi-yu before bed but ran out of time and ended up going back to Gozen-yu instead (open until 10 p.m.). In the morning we visited Gozen-yu again (open from 7 a.m.) before having breakfast bento boxes—those were great too. The Room was very clean, and best of all we could let our dog relax freely inside, which made us really happy. We’d love to stay again if we have the chance—next time I’d like to try dinner at Bianco as well.

We were thrilled that they showed us a covered parking area for our two motorcycles. At other Ryokan and Hotels we’ve stayed at, they offer covered parking for cars but say motorcycles aren’t allowed. The Onsen and the meals were excellent, and the staff were courteous—they even checked with the kitchen to answer our questions about the dishes. Overall, it was a very comfortable Ryokan, and we’d like to stay here again whenever we travel to the Yamaguchi area.

After watching a baseball game, we extended our trip to enjoy Kinosaki Onsen and the Amarube Bridge sightseeing. Since my friend and I both love crab, we stayed with the Kasumi Crab course at this accommodation. When I informed them in advance by phone that my friend had difficulty walking, they kindly prepared a barrier-free room for us. The food was delicious. They also arranged a taxi for us, and the staff serving meals were very attentive. The onsen was excellent as well. Although I was initially worried due to some negative reviews, we had a pleasant stay overall. The area in front of the ryokan was quiet enough to relax comfortably.

The cleanliness of the room, which was unexpected from the exterior, made it very comfortable. Except for the lack of an elevator and needing to drive to access the bath, the service was friendly, and I would like to use the No Meals Included Plan again.

It was a bright, refreshing Room with good airflow from windows on two sides. Conveniently located near supermarkets, convenience stores, and the Yubatake.

I made a reservation at an accommodation that is rare these days, offering in-room smoking and in-room dining. The meals were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The onsen is not from a natural hot spring source, but you can enjoy it quietly and leisurely.

I used to visit Harazuru often, but I learned about this place for the first time through the “Fukuoka 6 Onsen Hot Spring Tour” leaflet. The water was silky and smooth, felt great on the skin, and was very relaxing. With only a few rooms, it was easy to unwind. The staff were polite and pleasant as well. I’d love to visit again.
