We were able to stay at Kashiwaya again this year as a family, and we had a truly wonderful time. With only a few Rooms, we hardly ran into other guests even in the baths, so we could quietly enjoy the excellent waters of Bessho Onsen. The meals are gently seasoned and make the most of local ingredients, and no matter when we visit, it’s a mysterious Accommodation where we always sleep soundly at night. We look forward to visiting again.

We stayed again this year, following last year’s visit. This time, it was a 2-night, 3-day beach trip for three of us: an elderly couple and our granddaughter (first grade). Both on arrival and departure, the staff guided us in the parking lot, helped carry our luggage, and spoke to us kindly—this was extremely helpful. Working in this heat must be tough; thank you for all your hard work. The building was very clean, and the Room cleaning was thorough. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed dinner both nights while watching beautiful sunsets. The dinner style differed between the first and second nights: on the first night we had a kaiseki course featuring Murakami beef shabu-shabu as the main dish, and on the second night we had a seafood kaiseki course. Both the Murakami beef on day one and the crab on day two were excellent—our granddaughter finished her crab within minutes of starting dinner. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have loved even a small portion of Murakami beef on the second night as well, since it’s something you can only eat when visiting this area (though we do make use of hometown tax donations). We were originally told that dinner would be at “Kaiou” on both nights, but about 15 minutes before dinner on the second night we suddenly received notice of a venue change. The staff member apologized repeatedly; however, in a Hotel that accommodates so many guests, it actually reassured me that careful checks are being done in advance. Buffet-style dining isn’t bad, but for an elderly couple like us, having kaiseki served at just the right timing is much easier. I sincerely hope you will continue offering it. It’s also wonderful that right behind the Hotel is a beach with excellent access: after leaving the beach we could rinse off sand at the outdoor showers and head straight to the Onsen. There was even a washing machine available to rinse swimsuits—truly convenient. After soaking in the Onsen, all three of us relaxed in the lobby while enjoying complimentary Momotaro ice pops. On day two, when we asked at reception for advice so we could enjoy swimming at Sasagawa Nagare Beachline area more fully—including which beach and where to park—they kindly helped us with great care. There was also plenty of information we couldn’t get from checking with AI beforehand; combining both made our trip even more enjoyable. Local knowledge really is invaluable. On our final day as well—at our granddaughter’s request—we enjoyed swimming until mid-afternoon before rinsing off sand in the shower and saltiness in the Onsen prior to heading home. Driving back to Tokyo after swimming was tiring, but it became a fulfilling trip full of wonderful memories. If my stamina holds up, I’d love to come again next year. Thank you very much.

The Room, meals, and baths were all excellent. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Both the Room and the large public bath were kept very clean, which was wonderful. Due to our schedule, we checked in after 6:00 PM, so we could only enjoy the Onsen twice—at night and in the morning—which was a bit disappointing. If we have the chance to visit again, we would like to take our time and relax.

I stayed one night at Sanga in Kurokawa Onsen, in the “Natsutsubaki” Room. Above all, the hospitality was outstanding, and the thoughtful attention—never intrusive—made my entire stay very comfortable. The meals were delicious and thoroughly satisfying. Although it rained during my stay, the damp weather only enhanced the Accommodation’s serene atmosphere, to the point that I felt I had actually come on a good day. The Room was kept very clean; given the natural setting, insects do appear from time to time, but I appreciated that insect repellent was properly provided. It’s an Accommodation I would love to stay at again.

We stayed for two nights during the Golden Week holidays. The staff were very welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed Nozawa’s hot springs in comfort. It’s an ideal location for visiting the public bathhouses. We would love to stay here again.

It was a wonderful stay. The serene atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff were truly soothing, and soaking in the hot natural spring left me feeling refreshed from the inside out. The meals served in our Room were exceptional, and I was completely captivated by the delicious, beautifully presented dishes. I’ve already promised my mother and sister that we will definitely come again! I’m so glad we found such a lovely Accommodation.

I’ve stayed in many places, but this was the best. The Room was clean and well maintained, and the front desk staff were very polite and attentive. There are no meals provided, but they kindly recommended nearby restaurants. I definitely want to stay here again.

I have visited Noboribetsu several times, but this Hotel surprised me with its spacious Room! It was very relaxing. The Onsen was great, and I felt refreshed. It would be nice if there were wider yukatas available for fuller-figured guests.

My wife and I are truly grateful. From check-in to check-out, we received exceptionally attentive hospitality. Starting with the wonderful attendant who looked after us with such a warm smile, every member of staff impressed us with their professionalism and thoughtful attention to detail—exactly as described in the Reviews. The beautifully renewed design blending Japanese and Western styles was delightful, and everything throughout the Facility was impeccably cleaned and well maintained, creating a wonderful sense of freshness and comfort. As lovers of traditional Ryokan stays, both my wife and I were completely satisfied. We were also thrilled by the wide selection of stylish yukata for women—and even more so to receive an adorable pouch filled with amenities. When we mentioned in advance that we were visiting for our anniversary, you prepared framed red-and-white crane mizuhiki decorations at the dining venue; chopstick rests featuring celebratory characters; sekihan served in a charming bowl marked with “good fortune”; and even a commemorative ceramic tumbler set as a gift. Dinner was outstanding: exquisite ingredients beautifully presented on elegant tableware, creating an impressive experience that delighted all five senses. We could truly feel the aesthetic sense and craftsmanship of your kitchen team in every detail. Of course, everything—from taste and portion size to temperature control (hot/cold) as well as timely serving and clearing—was flawless. We have stayed at many luxury Ryokan and heritage Hotels over the years for our anniversaries, but there is no doubt that Kamon has become an unforgettable Accommodation for us. Even on our way home, my wife and I couldn’t stop talking about your hospitality. We would love to return again, so we hope you will welcome us back when we do. Because I prefer gluten-free options, I usually stay at Japanese-style Ryokan with mainly Japanese cuisine. This Hotel also offers gluten-free meals, and the Room was clean and functional. The staff provided excellent service as well. The view from the Room was outstanding. I’ve already made my next Reservation.

The facilities and guest rooms were clean and spacious, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy seven types of private baths free of charge. The buffet meals were also delicious. In addition, the staff were courteous and kind. As is common across Kyoritsu Resort properties, they offered thoughtful complimentary services—from welcome drinks to post-bath ice cream, free probiotic drinks in the morning, and even late-night soba noodles. However, it was raining that day and the parking lot was a bit far away, which was slightly inconvenient.

We stayed with my son’s family—six of us in two Rooms. There was a free shaved-ice service in the arrival lobby, which delighted the kids. The Room was spacious and comfortable. The only drawback was that we couldn’t adjust the air-conditioning temperature very well, but everything else was fine. The large Onsen public bath was also spacious, and we were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen. It may have been a circulated bath, as there was a slight chlorine smell, but there was also a sauna and we had a pleasant stay. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style for the first time in a while. Dinner offered all-you-can-eat sushi, sashimi, sukiyaki, steak, and more; breakfast was also very tasty, including local ingredients. I think this is a great Ryokan where three generations can enjoy themselves and everyone can be satisfied.

Overall, we had a very satisfying stay. A clean property, a buffet, and a large bath! We enjoyed our reserved table tennis, and afterward you kindly extended our karaoke time by an extra 30 minutes. Thanks to the thoughtful hospitality of the Hotel staff, my children in their second year of working life were able to forget their daily stress and smile more. Thank you for a truly wonderful day.

My spouse and I stayed here as a couple, and our detached Room came with an open-air bath and a footbath. The Room was very clean and made for a truly relaxing stay. We had our meals in a private dining room in a separate building, and even though there were many guests, we hardly ran into anyone. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the taste and portions were just right—we really enjoyed it! Above all, the morning mist in Yufuin was absolutely breathtaking. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again if we have the chance.

Everything was excellent. The hostess’s hospitality was especially wonderful. The staff also kindly introduced us to local spots and were very helpful, so we were able to fully enjoy Nagano. The Onsen was very relaxing, and the meals were truly delicate, beautifully presented, and delicious throughout. There was no excessive service like at a luxury Ryokan, which made it very comfortable. We would love to stay again when we visit Matsumoto.

The ocean view from the Room is wonderful, as are the views of Atami and the sea from the restaurant. The guest Room is spacious and airy, and the Onsen bath is large enough to stretch out in. Dinner was especially delicious, particularly the stone-grilled beef tenderloin steak. It was a very satisfying stay.

All the staff had a calm demeanor and provided pleasant service. The Facility and amenities are kept to the bare minimum, which may feel a bit lacking. Various wild birds came to the trees in the garden, delighting both the eyes and ears. Dake Onsen left a great impression—the Onsen town itself is compact, bright, open, and well maintained.

We stayed at this Accommodation on our first trip as three generations of our family because in-room dining was available. It’s close to the station, and both the exterior and the lobby were very clean, giving us a great impression at check-in. The proprietress and all the staff were truly kind and provided warm, thoughtful service. The Room, meals, bath, and service were all excellent—we were completely satisfied with this Hotel. Above all, the hand towels had such a wonderful fragrance that we even asked the proprietress about it at check-out. It was a deeply relaxing trip that we enjoyed immensely.

I understand you are now in your 18th generation—when it comes to Onsen Accommodations, nothing compares to a long-established inn. Of course, both the large public bath and the in-Room bath are fed directly from the source with free-flowing spring water. The staff were exceptionally attentive—so much so that we almost felt apologetic for receiving such kindness. Above all, the dining was outstanding, far beyond anything we had imagined. The tableware was also beautiful throughout, including pieces inspired by Rosanjin’s works, making each meal a delight not only for the palate but also for the eyes. The Kaga cuisine was delicately seasoned yet deeply flavorful. Everything was immaculately cleaned, and the view from the window was truly soothing. While preserving the charm of this historic inn, the property has been beautifully renewed with touches of contemporary art woven in seamlessly. Naturally, many Rosanjin works are displayed throughout the building as well, and they were well worth seeing. I also suspect many guests may not notice this—but in the lobby, Rooms, and bathing areas: there are countless chairs everywhere, and most appear to be high-end pieces. I can only imagine how much has been invested overall; especially the chair inside the elevator must be quite expensive. Even details like lighting and clocks have clearly been chosen with great care. We visited with very high expectations for an Onsen Accommodation, yet everything surpassed them by a wide margin—truly impressive. We would love to return again soon.
