We stayed with two adults and two dogs. On the way there, our navigation system guided us on a detour and we arrived via a very narrow road, but after the staff explained the route, we found that if you exit onto the road right in front, you’re immediately on a main road and it’s very close to the Awaji Interchange—an excellent location. Our dogs had a great time running around both in the shared dog run Room and in the run. The complimentary drinks at the shared run were much appreciated. For dinner at Genpei, the anago (conger eel) hot pot and sashimi were outstanding, with generous portions—absolutely delicious (lol). In summer, most vacation rentals have lots of insects, but there were very few this time, which was great. Proper insect control measures are clearly in place. The staff were also wonderful and kindly helped us throughout—thank you very much. We’ll definitely come back again.

I had always remembered that my late mother stayed here about 35 years ago and said it was a wonderful Hotel, so I decided to stay this time. We originally made a Reservation for two Rooms for six people across three generations, but one person couldn’t come due to work, and then two days before our stay my father and brother (in a separate household) came down with fevers from colds. In the end, our group was reduced by half, but despite the repeated changes, you handled everything very kindly and thoughtfully. Thank you. We arrived at 11:30 after checkout time and planned to park our car first and go sightseeing in Matsushima by the Hotel shuttle bus. However, your staff told us we could complete check-in procedures in advance, and when we returned they arranged it so we could simply pick up the key at a separate counter and go straight to our Room. This helped us avoid crowds and was truly appreciated. Because I have difficulty walking, I requested an ocean-side Japanese-Western style Room. The view was excellent, the Room was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was just right. We could see the sunrise directly in front of us. For dinner we chose the seafood buffet; there were many kinds of sashimi and grilled items, each dish was high quality—it was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed it. At breakfast as well, they cooked items like cheese omelets individually on the spot for each guest. The food exceeded our expectations! As for the baths, there were no issues at all. At sunrise time, watching the sun rise over Matsushima Bay right in front of the open-air bath moved me deeply. For someone like me with limited mobility, getting around was easy—the layout made sense and walking distances were reasonable—so it wasn’t physically taxing. It helped me truly understand why my mother, who had limited use of her hands and feet due to a similar condition, said this Hotel was so good. With check-in at 14:00 and checkout at 11:00, being able to relax without rushing is another great point. The staff service; the view from the Room; amenities; meals; baths—everything made this an excellent Hotel. When I come to Matsushima again, I sincerely want to stay at Taikanso again! Since expectations are high now that I know how good it is firsthand next time I'd like a Multiple Night Stay so I can enjoy other meals as well. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

This was my first stay. When we needed to change our dates due to a typhoon hitting directly, you handled it very courteously. The Room, the large public bath, and the breakfast were all excellent—I was completely satisfied. I would like to stay again next time. Thank you very much for everything.

I’ve stayed at several APA Hotels & Resorts, and I’m impressed every time by how wonderful the service is. The VOD includes recent movies (this time they already had the second part of *Wicked*!), the large public bath is spacious, clean, and relaxing, and the breakfast is luxurious and truly delicious. The Room is compact at 14 m², but because the bathroom area is efficiently designed, it feels more spacious than expected. Considering the reasonable price, I’m grateful for such a high level of service. Breakfast while enjoying the open view from the 40th floor was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The grilled fish was thick and perfectly tender, and even the broth served with their “beauty tofu” was delicious. There were so many great options—seafood rice bowls, clam ramen, smoked salmon, and more—that it was hard to choose, and it made me happy from the very start of the day. They also cleared plates promptly, which made everything feel comfortable. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

I stayed here once a few years ago, and this time we stayed with my mother-in-law. She was delighted with everything—the meals, the sunset view, the Room, the Onsen, the amenities, and the service. Thank you very much. My daughter mentioned that the hair dryer in the Room had weak airflow and it took a long time to dry her hair; she said she would have preferred a dryer like the ones in the large public bath.

Free drink bar (including alcohol), plus post-bath ice bars and probiotic drinks, and manga. Amazing! The bath water quality is great, and the rooms are clean. An Onsen stream runs alongside the Hotel and is beautifully illuminated. Dinner was a buffet, and they even had meaty snow crab. I couldn’t help but overeat. A highly recommended Accommodation.

I stopped by and stayed here on my way back from visiting Ise Grand Shrine. It’s within walking distance from the station, and I was able to check in smoothly with no stress. The building is undeniably old, but the Room was kept clean. The meals were very delicious. The local specialty, Atami-ni, was truly outstanding. It’s also nice that you can choose your dried fish at breakfast. Many of the staff are from overseas, but their hard work comes through, so there’s no stress. The Onsen was at a comfortable temperature and felt great. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

Since New Year’s, we’ve been taking a one-night Onsen trip every month, and this time we chose Hirado after watching YouTube. Our main goal was to enjoy delicious sashimi. The sashimi was fresh and tasty, but compared with our previous stay, it was a bit disappointing that the slices were thinner. The meals were delicious, with a wide variety of buffet options—so much that we were completely full. We were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. We stayed in the new building; the Room was clean, and the Onsen was great. The staff were also very helpful. We’d like to stay again.

Our family of three stayed in the ocean-view Room “Mizuwori.” What left the strongest impression was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. From their demeanor during the Shuttle Service to their attentive care with in-room dining, everything was never stiff yet always thoughtful and thorough, making our stay truly comfortable. The Room itself was also wonderful. Recently renovated, it features a modern, refined interior while preserving a Japanese atmosphere. The sofa and massage chair were very comfortable, and above all, being able to view the Great Torii from the Room was exceptional. It’s a Room that truly makes you feel it’s worth staying overnight on Miyajima. The complimentary services are also very well provided. In particular, the rooftop space on the top floor was a lovely place to relax while enjoying views of Miyajima. It was also nice that drinks and ice cream were available free of charge—you can really feel their desire to delight guests. The large public bath was clean and pleasant to use, and at breakfast there was an appropriate amount of space between guests so we could enjoy our meal in a calm setting. Both dinner and breakfast were completely satisfying in both taste and portion size. Dinner especially—being able to enjoy it slowly as a family in our Room—became a wonderful memory from this trip. Above all, what makes Kinsuikan so appealing is its superb location. It is close to Itsukushima Shrine, the Great Torii, and Omotesando Street, allowing you not only to sightsee during the day but also easily enjoy the Great Torii at night when day-trippers have thinned out, as well as quiet Miyajima early the next morning. Cuisine, service, hospitality, and location—everything is balanced at an exceptionally high level here. This Accommodation truly made us feel glad we chose to stay overnight on Miyajima. If we have another chance to visit Miyajima again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

We stayed as a family of five to cheer at an ice hockey game. At our grandchild’s strong request, we asked for a Japanese-style Room during summer vacation. They wanted to sleep together on futons. Thank you for upgrading us to a Japanese-Western style Room. It was very clean. Ocean view—highly recommend the sunset. Most of all, when a family member wasn’t feeling well, you unlocked the entrance and let us into the Room before check-in time, which we truly appreciated. In this Review, I want to express my sincere gratitude for everyone’s warm and caring service. We would definitely stay again. Great value for money as well.

Overall, I was satisfied.\n\nThe only thing that concerned me was that, although my check-in wasn’t particularly late, the futons had already been laid out in the Room.\nIn the hot summer season—especially in Shimanto, where you may have been playing in the river or at the sea (or even if not)—you’re likely to be sweaty. It was a bit disappointing having to be careful not to step on the futons no matter what I did. Of course, if check-in is late, I understand it makes sense for efficiency for the staff who prepare them. Since dinner time is specifically confirmed at check-in, I would have preferred if they could lay them out while we were having dinner.\n\nThe meals, the Onsen, and the Room were all relaxing and very enjoyable.

This was my first stay, and the Hotel was wonderful. The food was delicious. Both the Room and the Onsen were great. All of the Hotel staff were very kind. After enjoying the Onsen, I tried an ice cream made by a local cake shop and sold at the souvenir shop—it was incredibly tasty. I’ll definitely be back again next year.

I used the sauna, Onsen, breakfast, and more, and they helped me relax and recover from fatigue. During the busy evening hours, I noticed the floor in the men’s changing room was dirty, so it might be good to increase cleaning frequency during peak times. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. Since we didn’t rent a car this time, we traveled by bus from Hakodate Station, but it was only a 3-minute walk from Tropical Botanical Garden-mae, so it wasn’t inconvenient at all. A friend said the interior and the Room were far better than you’d ever imagine from the exterior. I believe I made a Reservation for the cheapest Room type, but to my surprise we were upgraded to what seemed like one of the best Rooms. It was a wonderful, spacious Room with a very comfortable sofa where we could truly relax. If I have the chance to visit again, I’d like to make a Reservation for the best Type A Room. I was looking forward to enjoying sparkling wine in the lounge, Hakodate milk soft-serve ice cream, and Misuzu Coffee—and they even had watermelon as well, which made me really happy. The soft-serve was unbelievably delicious. I don’t usually drink coffee, but Misuzu Coffee is so good that I decided to have it while in Hakodate. Being able to enjoy it as many times as you like until 10:00 p.m. is much appreciated—though my friend mentioned that in the morning there was only Misuzu Coffee. The bath is available even late at night, which is also very helpful. Even if you fall asleep after dinner and drinks, it’s great to be able to wake up and take a bath during the night. Dinner was an omakase sushi course that included fugu tatsuta-age; between the tuna selections and seasonal sushi, everything was satisfying and enjoyable. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options—I especially loved the soup curry. Overall, I think this is an excellent Accommodation with courteous front desk staff and a very positive impression. Just one thing: many Hotels these days provide deodorizing sprays, but I’m sensitive to fragrances—so I would prefer not having them in the Room or used during bed-making.

Thank you for taking such great care of us the other day. The Room and meals were excellent in every way. We were especially impressed by the all-crab feast. We were very satisfied with the many delicious dishes, including medium-fatty tuna (chutoro). We look forward to visiting again with our family to enjoy another Premium tour.

After the renovation, the Room was very clean and beautiful. The food was delicious, and the upgraded course had generous portions, so we were very satisfied. The rice from Fukui Prefecture is excellent. I usually eat only about half a bowl at breakfast, but I had a second serving. It was new-season rice and truly delicious. The lobby felt a bit warm. I also soaked in the bath for a long time and couldn’t stop sweating, and when heading back to the Room you have to pass through the lobby, which felt a little hot. It was very quiet and relaxing. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Ryokan is small but satisfying as a Facility. The Room was kept very clean, and for a twin it was spacious enough—no complaints. The bath was a little hot, though that depends on the person; the simple spring water had a light, refreshing feel. There is a gender swap, but I was surprised that the bath sizes differed. At check-in we were served matcha and sweets, but since there isn’t really a shop, I would have been happy if they had offered that day’s tea sweets as a small souvenir to take home. We had both dinner and breakfast and were very satisfied with the food, and the service was good. The locally grown rice in particular was delicious. If I go to Matsue again, I’d like to stay here again and would recommend this Accommodation to others.

Four years ago, my family stayed here as the starting point for a trip around Noto. We were able to relax at a leisurely pace, the food was delicious, and above all, we could soothe our tiredness in the bath. That was the biggest highlight for us. This time I traveled by motorcycle with a friend, and it was an Accommodation my friend had been interested in, so we planned our stay. Since this trip was also a full loop around Noto, we chose the indoor BBQ for dinner as our starting point and added the all-you-can-drink option. Pouring my own draft beer was exceptional, and enjoying an indoor BBQ while having seven beers was fantastic. When traveling, your Accommodation doesn’t have to serve kaiseki or seafood. This trip reminded me of that. As a great stopover point for exploring Noto, I’d like to stay here again in the future.

At check-in, there was only one staff member, so I wondered if something was going on and whether everything was okay, but we received warm and attentive hospitality. We enjoyed rare local dishes such as salted grilled coho salmon and soba bean sprouts (absolutely delicious), and also tried painting kokeshi dolls while listening to a live Tsugaru shamisen performance (a wonderful souvenir), which let us fully experience the spirit of Aomori. The Onsen was at just the right temperature (slightly hot), warmed us through, and relieved our fatigue. It was all-inclusive, and we were able to enjoy plenty of drinks as well. The Room, bath, and meals were all wonderful, and we were very satisfied. However, the Wi-Fi listed was not accessible at all, so I think it needs improvement. Still, we treated it as a digital detox and were able to relax. Thank you for your hospitality.
