I extended my trip to Ichinomiya because I couldn't book a hotel near Nagoya Station due to high prices. Since it's about 10 minutes from Nagoya, I didn't feel it was inconvenient, and you can see the Hotel from the station, so there's no chance of getting lost. However, I noticed that there were cracks under the sink and a smell from the drain, which made me think it's quite an old building.

This Hotel is conveniently located near Kusatsu Station. What impressed me most was the shower water pressure in the bathroom. I stay at various hotels for business trips, and this had the best—perfectly comfortable water pressure. I would like to stay here again on my next business trip to Kusatsu.

This is a repeat stay. This time, for the first time, I stayed in a smoking Room on the second floor, accessible by stairs. The Room was clean and well equipped, so I was satisfied, but the noise from the national highway (including illegally modified vehicles) was louder than expected. Even considering that, the price was low and I am satisfied. I will use it again when I am on a business trip to Kyoto.

I traveled with my elderly mother, and since the accommodation is slightly away from the main street, it was quiet and comfortable. Moreover, it takes less than 10 minutes by car to reach the main street. Parking lots are abundant (many cost a maximum of 400–500 yen on weekdays), making sightseeing convenient. The front desk staff, both men and women, were all pleasant and answered our questions with smiles and care. At the breakfast venue, not only was the food delightful in the morning but there were also various drink options that made us feel enriched. As for the bath, I didn’t notice the bubble bath at night in the open-air section but realized it in the morning when I thought, "Wasn’t this clear before?" However, I felt that the machine for creating bubbles was a bit noisy. Still, with its excellent location and welcoming atmosphere, this is a wonderful accommodation where my mother also had a great time. Thank you for your hospitality!

The building is a bit old, and there’s the issue of no air conditioning typical in Hokkaido, as well as insects that come with being in the mountains. However, considering the price, it’s up to each guest to decide if it suits them. For us as a couple, we were satisfied. Some dishes could have been served hotter for an even better experience, but everything was delicious and filling. During the day it was unbelievably hot, but at night it cooled down enough that we didn’t need to use the complimentary "cool neck towel" and slept comfortably without air conditioning. We turned off the lights, closed the curtains, and opened windows while taking precautions against insects. The sound of the river was quite loud but felt natural and didn’t disturb our sleep once we got used to it. Although unrelated to this Hotel itself, we found that Shirogane Onsen had better water quality compared to Sounkyo Onsen for our visit on the following day.

We stayed here during Golden Week. The price was not a special rate, yet it included two meals for one night at this cost. We arrived without high expectations, but although the building is old, it was well cleaned, and all the staff were polite with excellent service. The food was also very delicious. If we have the opportunity, we would like to stay again.

The building and the Room are old, but it was more than enough for a business trip since I only needed a place to sleep. Above all, it’s reasonably priced and close to the station, so I’d like to stay here again when I’m in Utsunomiya on business. I also appreciate that there is a large public bath, and all the front desk staff are kind.

The Room window offers a panoramic view of Lake Towada, and the ever-changing scenery in the morning and evening was truly soothing. With a location right by the lake, plus nearby activity spots and a shrine, it’s an excellent base for sightseeing and strolling. The Room uses a keypad entry system, so there’s no worry about not having enough keys for everyone, and it’s convenient not having to carry them around. Amenities were well stocked, so we didn’t feel inconvenienced at all. The face masks and cooling foot sheets were especially appreciated. The Room’s water dispenser provided great-tasting water and was very useful. Dinner was served in the Room, so our family could relax without worrying about others—very satisfying. The Asobiba Room is fun for both adults and children.

I think the highlight of this Ryokan is the heartfelt service from the staff. At dinner, they were very attentive to the timing of each dish. While many Ryokan and restaurants bring out dishes one after another, I was truly impressed. They carefully checked whether it was a good time to bring the simmered golden eye snapper and whether they should serve the fried dishes yet, so every dish was enjoyed at its best. They also asked if I wanted another serving of rice, which made me feel this is a wonderful Accommodation. We could see the ocean from both the Room and the large public bath, and we were able to relax at ease. The food was delicious as well, and we were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

The front desk staff provided courteous and pleasant service during both check-in and check-out. The complimentary services were exceptional, especially the free dinner bowls, which were the highlight of my stay. I only needed to purchase a salad and edamame from a convenience store to complete a satisfying dinner. That evening, there were curry and two types of bowls (frozen pre-packaged beef bowl and ginger pork bowl), both of which were truly delicious. The free soft drink bar even included an alcohol button, offering highballs and sours, with sake available nearby. Additionally, there were stick drinks, tea bags, soup packets, mini ramen, ochazuke packs, and bean snacks, making the service truly outstanding. However, I was disappointed not to find a cold water pitcher, which I believe is in high demand. The hotel also has an attached izakaya, which I considered visiting if I wanted more drinks. However, the loud voices of some patrons early in the evening made it uninviting, so I decided not to go. When I asked the front desk about takeout options, they mentioned it was a separate business, so they were unsure. In the end, the free bowls and drinks were more than enough, and I didn’t use the izakaya. The breakfast venue is the same izakaya, operating in a buffet style. Nearly half the seating area is used for the food stations, resulting in limited seating and potential wait times depending on the timing. When I stayed at Toyoko Inn Kurashiki, the lobby served as the breakfast area, which was quite small, but they provided takeout bento boxes for room dining, allowing for a relaxed breakfast experience. If the crowding persists, this could be a consideration for improvement. The bed in the room had a springy mattress, which I personally found uncomfortable. This was my second experience, after Cuore Kurashiki Hotel, where I bounced too much during a turn and fell off the bed. The height caused me to hit my knee hard, leaving a significant bruise. The rental services were excellent, so I would appreciate the addition of bed guards or floor impact-absorbing mats for rental. This would provide peace of mind for future stays. I was able to secure a Reservation by arranging early. It was reasonably priced, the breakfast was delicious, and having a parking lot was very convenient.

During Golden Week, Ryokan prices tend to rise, but recently many have been priced higher than expected. However, the pricing at this Ryokan felt reasonable. It wasn't too cheap or too expensive—just the right amount to feel satisfied. The meals were reasonably delicious, and the bath temperature was perfect. However, the bath area was a bit small, so it felt like you might leave if someone else came in. Overall though, I really appreciated how this Ryokan maintained its quality without setting overly high prices in today's market.

The Hotel we stayed at had a spacious, relaxing Room without a TV, and it was also close to Dogo Onsen, which made our trip very convenient.

The staff was very kind and helpful when my son had a high fever at night, and we had to call an ambulance. I am truly grateful. I look forward to staying here again when visiting Kitami for tournaments or other events. The Room was clean with no dust or issues.

The bathroom and toilet are separate, and the room is spacious enough to fully open a suitcase. It was clean, and I would like to use it again.

Located in a great area, I stay here about twice a month. For those seeking excessive services or being overly critical, perhaps consider staying at a Hotel priced around 100,000 yen per night. To emphasize again, this is a great Hotel.

The building is old, but the Room, bath, and other areas were kept very clean, so I had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were very kind both at night and in the morning. Breakfast felt like a typical Hotel breakfast, but it was fun to cook my own fried egg using the toaster oven. The free dinner at night—curry, rice bowls, ochazuke, mini ramen, soft drinks, and more—was truly impressive! It helped me a lot!! The curry with large pieces of vegetables was home-style and very delicious. Thank you very much.

The Facility and amenities are minimal, so it's recommended to bring what you need. The Facility is old, but its convenient location near the station and the delicious complimentary breakfast curry make it satisfying.

I stayed one night in a single Room. I was feeling anxious about my stay, but when I spoke with the staff at check-in, they kindly listened and helped me right away. It really put me at ease and allowed me to focus on what I needed to do. It was a huge help—thank you so much again. Everyone was very kind to me, and thanks to that, I achieved a good result. The Room was quiet and relaxing, and the air conditioner had already cooled the Room well when I entered, which felt great. It did feel a bit old, but it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

The bath: It would have been better if it was cloudier, but I’m still satisfied. The scale was not working properly, but I apologize for not informing the front desk. Meals: They were delicious.
