Although it is a secluded Accommodation in the mountains, both the baths and dinner were excellent, and the breakfast buffet in particular was very satisfying—I would like to visit again. However, perhaps due to the season, the cicadas were quite loud and felt a bit noisy.

We stayed as a family of three. Free parking is available. The Room was spacious, so we could relax comfortably. The Room, bathroom, and toilet were all large and clean. It was helpful that they lent us a phone charger and an extension cord. There are also restaurants and a drugstore near the Hotel, which was convenient. We would like to stay again if we have the chance. One downside was that the entrance door opens inward, so it was a bit difficult to get in and out when shoes were in the way, but the staff were kind and the service was great, so I give it 5 stars.

I stayed here the night before a Sunday training session. I’ve stayed several times before, and as with my last visit, I was very satisfied. I especially like the location, the Room size, and the in-house Facilities (drink service and book lending). I’d like to stay again next time. Please consider it a good Accommodation that offers fair value for the price.

At check-in, we were given chilled hand towels. It was a very hot day, so they felt wonderful to use. Drinks were also complimentary, and there were many thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We’d love to stay here again.

Close to the station, with clean and user-friendly indoor facilities, making it a place I’d like to use again. It seems there is no ice machine, so it might be better to buy ice beforehand.

Just as the Accommodation’s name suggests, my mind felt cleansed. The open-air bath was breathtaking with nature right in front of me, along with birdsong and the sound of the wind—it was wonderful.

I stayed here on a solo trip and was extremely satisfied with my stay. Above all, the Onsen was outstanding. The water quality was excellent, and after bathing my skin felt surprisingly smooth. The open-air bath is in a quiet setting surrounded by forest, making it easy to forget everyday life and truly unwind. The sauna was also excellent. With self-service löyly, you can work up a good sweat in a short time, and the deep cold bath with continuously flowing groundwater had no chlorine smell—I could really feel how clean the water was. The temperature is properly maintained with a chiller, so it’s nicely cold and comfortable. Relaxing on the reclining chairs in the outdoor area while looking out at the forest was the most memorable part of this stay. Dinner is served as a course meal but offers far more volume than expected—you’ll be completely full. The locally sourced ayu (sweetfish) from Kitsuregawa was delicious, and I enjoyed regional ingredients. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, with rice, miso soup, natto, and a drink bar available freely, so you can eat well from the morning. It was also very helpful to have Shuttle Service both ways to Ujiie Station. It’s about 20 minutes away, but for guests arriving by public transportation this is an especially appreciated service. Some parts of the building and Facility show their age, but everything inside was kept clean and I never felt uncomfortable. It seemed to be run by a small team, yet everyone provided warm and very attentive service that made my stay pleasant throughout. Even though it isn’t far from Tokyo, I think this Accommodation is special for offering an escape into nature in such a peaceful setting. Amenities are minimal essentials only, so if you have specific preferences you may want to bring what you need—earplugs included—for an even more comfortable stay. This time I traveled alone, but next time I would love to visit with my family.

The Accommodation Fee was reasonably priced for this season, so I didn’t have high expectations, but it was a very good Ryokan that truly showed the strength of a long-established property. In particular, the meals were not an ordinary kaiseki course; we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious course centered on Koshu beef. It was a menu that left a stronger impression than standard kaiseki. All staff were friendly and consistently attentive in their service. I have stayed at several other Ryokan in Isawa, but I would definitely consider Tokiwa Hotel again on my next visit. As for the Onsen, I would have been able to relax even more if the open-air bath had been a bit larger, as it felt somewhat small. Regarding the Room, although it is an older Ryokan, everything was well maintained, and the bathroom areas were spotless and comfortable. Given the excellent value and reasonable Accommodation Fee, I have no complaints—it felt like the result of dedicated management efforts. Thank you very much.

The amenities were excellent, and the ReFa shower head and hair dryer were very comfortable to use—thoughtful services that many women will appreciate. The Room was cozy and made me feel like I was staying at a small boutique Hotel in Paris. It was my first repeat stay in a while, and I would definitely like to stay again.

I made a Reservation looking forward to the bath, but it was unfortunately out of order. However, thanks to the Hotel’s kindness, my Room was upgraded. I was very satisfied and enjoyed the spacious indoor bath. For breakfast, I had freshly baked bread, corn soup, and plenty of fresh vegetables—it was filling and became a wonderful travel memory. I would like this to be my first choice for my next stay in Sapporo.

We chose Karasuma Kyoto Hotel for its convenient location just a short walk from Shijo Subway Station and Hankyu Karasuma Station, making access easy. The staff were courteous and attentive, and we were able to spend our time comfortably with peace of mind.

The Room was spacious and had a great ocean view. The meals were served in just the right portions, and every fish dish was delicious. Breakfast venues are often crowded, but here there was plenty of space, so we could dine comfortably in a relaxed, calm atmosphere. We would love to stay again.

The bath, the Room, and the meals were all excellent. The bath has a great view and is spacious, so you can relax and take your time. The catfish at the breakfast buffet was especially delicious, so I ended up eating a lot. All of the staff were very kind. (Thank you so much for sending my lost item back to me!) The building was new and very clean, so we had a truly comfortable stay. It was also a pleasant distance from the station—perfect for strolling back and forth. Kanazawa Station was wonderful, and the city center was beautiful as well. We’d love to visit Kanazawa again in a different season, and we hope to stay here again then. Thank you very much.

I have stayed here several times before, but I switched to other Hotels because the TV was an older type and hard to watch, and the Room felt a bit dark. This time, I stayed again after a long while and found that the TV had been updated and the Room seemed brighter—perhaps renovated—which was a great improvement. I would like to stay here again in the future.

The service was attentive, and it was a great Hotel. Above all, the breakfast was excellent. One issue: the Room hair dryer was a small model, and it became very hot quickly when used, which felt unsafe. The inside of the hair dryer was also full of dust, so that was the only disappointing point.

The Room was clean, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The dining area was also spacious... Although we stayed for only one night, we had a very comfortable stay, and the front desk staff were courteous. Thank you.

I visited by motorcycle this time, and I really appreciated being able to park under the eaves so it stayed dry even in the rain. The staff were very kind and helpful, and I was very satisfied. There are several yakiniku restaurants near the Hotel, so I also enjoyed Iida’s famous yakiniku.

This was my first time staying here. I had no familiarity with the area and hadn’t planned where to eat, but thanks to the wonderful hospitality of all the staff, I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay. I will stay here again the next time I visit Maizuru. Thank you very much.
