It was our first time staying in a trailer house, so we were a little nervous. It exceeded our expectations, and we were able to relax. The staff were kind, and it seemed my elderly parents enjoyed it as well. If I had one request, the bed was a bit too high and getting in and out was inconvenient; ideally, it would be around adult waist height. Thank you for taking care of us.\nThe view overlooking Imari Bay was also wonderful.

We stayed for one night with breakfast included. The Accommodation accepts only three groups per day, and the bath and toilets are shared; however, the bath is a private family-bath style. Since we have a daughter who dislikes large public baths with strangers, this was the deciding factor. We were able to book a two-room suite-style Room, with a separate living area and bedroom—spacious and relaxing. Perhaps because it used to be a traditional restaurant, the entrance area of the Room (shoe-off space) is open, and each Room is secured by locking its sliding doors (fusuma). The locks are screw-type locks for sliding doors rather than typical cylinder door locks, so younger guests unfamiliar with them may be confused at first (as our kids were). Also likely due to the building’s traditional structure—with fusuma and shoji screens—soundproofing is somewhat limited, and TV noise or conversations can be heard from the hallway (according to our daughter). That said, the property itself is generally quiet. The layout also seemed designed with noise in mind—for example, keeping relaxation spaces separated. There was one other family with small children staying that day, but it didn’t bother us. There is no washbasin inside the Room; instead, paper cups are provided at the sinks in the bath area and by the toilets for brushing teeth and washing up. Everything was well maintained and pleasant to use. Breakfast the next morning was served in a large hall on the second floor. It was an excellent Japanese-style breakfast—delicious.

I visited with my wife. It was our first time in Kinasa, and we enjoyed the slow pace of time, allowing us to relax without any worries. We are also grateful to the staff for their warm and friendly service throughout our stay. Thank you very much!

We stayed here during the fireworks festival in a Room with a fireworks view. I wasn’t sure about the location at first, but we were able to watch the fireworks perfectly from our Room. The Ryokan itself is quite old, but it has been nicely renovated—especially around the bathrooms—so it was very comfortable. The meals were generous and we were very satisfied, and the staff’s service was excellent. With only seven Rooms in total, it’s a small Ryokan, so we didn’t run into other guests in the bath and enjoyed plenty of privacy.

The peace of mind of being able to park in a garage with a shutter. It was also nice that the garage had tools and other items available!! The Room was clean and comfortable! I felt the shower room could have been a bit more spacious, but there was a nearby super sento, so using that is also a good option! Access to Miyajima was great as well, so I’d like to stay again.

A traditional Accommodation facing the main street of Togatta Onsen. The Facilities are old, but that adds a retro charm and makes you feel like you’ve come back to your family home in the countryside... The bath is quite hot—probably around 45°C—but there’s a hose on the faucet so you can cool it down before getting in. The meals had a nostalgic taste, featuring plenty of mountain vegetables. It feels like an Accommodation for adults. There is a public bathhouse right in front, where you can enjoy various types of baths. The parking lot is next door and easy to use. If you make a Reservation the day before, you can buy croissants as a souvenir at checkout. They’re extremely delicious and perfect as a snack while sightseeing at Okama and other spots. I will stay here again.

This was my first time staying here. It’s a small hotel nestled in the forest. The surroundings are quiet, making it a perfect place to relax. When I stepped inside, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was—it made me wonder if I should take off my shoes before entering! The wooden-style room had a toilet, shower room, and a spacious sink area. Part of the elevated floor served as a large bed. The lights automatically turned on and off based on movement, which meant no need to manually switch them when getting into bed or waking up for the restroom—so convenient! And the baths! There’s an indoor bath on the first floor and an open-air bath on the second floor, both available for private use. The stone tubs were spacious with crystal-clear water, and while soaking in the outdoor bath under overhanging tree branches was amazing, even the indoor bath felt clean and refreshing. The design is minimal yet perfectly thought out—for example, there’s a spotlight-like light by the bed that’s ideal for reading or an unexpectedly long clothes rack that turned out to be very practical. It made me wonder if the owner might be an architect because they clearly understand what guests need! I’m already thinking about coming back just to stay here again—I’ve found such a gem!

It seems to be a family-run Accommodation. It’s small, but modern, stylish, and lovely. It’s a bit of a walk to Yubatake, but you can get there on foot, and there’s also a convenience store nearby. There are plenty of private baths for the number of Rooms, so we were able to use one right away anytime. The meals were plentiful and delicious, and the tableware was beautiful as well. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Kusatsu. I’ve already recommended it to friends too.

Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied. The bath could also be used privately if the timing worked out, allowing us to relax in comfort. In addition, the owner and hostess were wonderful people, and their warm hospitality truly put us at ease.

We stayed with our dog using the dinner-included Plan. It was off-season, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time. The barbecue was incredibly luxurious with surprisingly premium ingredients. Despite the rain, we enjoyed the private sauna until the very last moment. Thank you very much!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I stayed here on short notice. Maybe because I was so tired, I was able to rest well. I also appreciated that the Room was warm. This is a Hotel you can rely on in an emergency. I would like to stay again.

We stayed here for the first time as a family during summer vacation, and it was beautiful by the seaside. The kids had a great time playing on the private beach. Above all, the hostess’s hospitality was excellent. The food was delicious, and we were able to enjoy fireworks by borrowing a bucket and other items, which made for wonderful memories.\nWe’d love to stay again.

Although it was described as a “Ramune Onsen,” I couldn’t really tell, as I didn’t notice any bubbles sticking to my skin. However, it was free-flowing from the source and had a spacious open-air bath, which was great. That said, it was disappointing that the open-air bath was being cleaned during the morning bathing hours and wasn’t available. The Room was a prefab unit and had a slight musty smell that bothered me. Also, there were no pajamas provided, so you need to bring your own.

I was planning to stay at a Hotel, but it was fully booked, so I made a Reservation here at the last minute. It was a cute and clean cottage. I could stay with my pet as well, and it was very affordable—I was very satisfied. Thank you very much. However, one fewer person ended up staying, and I emailed the cottage about it, but the payment remained based on the original Reservation. Since it was so inexpensive, I guess it couldn’t be helped.

Based on the information provided in advance, I honestly didn’t have high expectations for the Hotel itself or the Room. But once I stayed, I found that anyone who loves a Showa-era atmosphere will really appreciate it. The Room is spacious enough, and while you can’t expect the latest Facilities or modern comfort, it feels calm and relaxing. The bath and toilet are in the same space, but it’s very large and even has a separate washing area. If you run the hot water too forcefully it can splash toward the toilet, but as long as you’re careful there’s no problem. I was surprised to see exposed hot- and cold-water pipes for the first time; on the other hand, I felt they may be keeping prices reasonable by not spending too much on hardware upgrades. What truly stands out is breakfast. You enter the dining room from a typical narrow-front local Ryokan-style entrance near reception—and then you’re amazed: shelves along the walls are packed with what seems to be the owner’s collection. It felt like stepping into another world. The way everything is arranged shows real attention to detail, and somehow reflects their personality as well. Breakfast was served in 30-minute time slots, but it seemed freshly prepared after guests arrived, so warm dishes were brought out. The bread, omelet, bacon, and sausages were cooked perfectly. The ingredients aren’t luxurious by any means, but I was genuinely impressed by how heartfelt the cooking was. I also had a bit of friendly conversation with them and got to experience their warm and sincere character firsthand. To be honest, I can’t give high marks for hardware aspects—but for breakfast alone, along with their hospitality and this Showa-style space that you can actually experience here, this Hotel is absolutely worth staying at. If I have another chance, I’d love to return.

I initially misunderstood, but I didn't realize that when other guests reserve this place, the bathroom, toilet, and living room are shared with them except for the bedroom. Since I was with my child and thought it might cause inconvenience to others, I hurriedly called to cancel the reservation. However, fortunately, there were no other guests booked, so I decided not to cancel. As a result, we had a spacious room all to ourselves—what luck! Additionally, the host was incredibly kind. One thing to note is that bath towels are not provided, so you need to bring your own. Other than that, everything else was well-equipped. Next time I reserve this place again, I think it would be worth reserving for two groups and paying double the price just to have it all private. When that time comes again, I'll definitely book here! I will never forget the kindness of the host.

There are often spots that get missed around the bathroom and in the corners of the Room, but this was the first time I’ve stayed in a Room that was cleaned so thoroughly. The staff member in charge of cleaning that day did an excellent job. Thank you very much. If I had to mention one thing, it would be nice to have a trash bin near the utility area.

It’s right next to Ageki Station on the Sangi Railway Hokusei Line—just steps after you get off. There’s also a convenience store beside the station. This time, three of us (a family) stayed here. The room size felt just right for two adults. Most amenities are provided. There are also outdoor hammocks and a table with chairs, which looked useful, but unfortunately it rained during our stay and the wooden deck was soaked, so we didn’t use them. Cooking in the in-room kitchen is basically limited to simple microwave meals. There are cups, but no plates. The toilet and shower area were very clean. The service was excellent—the front desk staff were very kind. Also, in the early morning there is a time-limited sauna area at Ageki Onsen that is opened exclusively for guests. Even if you don’t use the sauna, you can relax in the lounge while enjoying locally produced tea, which was nice. Just one thing: the main bath closes at 21:00 and reopens at 10:00 the next morning, and guests can only use it during those same hours, which is a bit inconvenient. Ageki Onsen has various facilities and seems like a place where you could spend time slowly and comfortably, so next time I’d like to set aside about half a day to enjoy it as well.

We stayed as a family of four during the year-end holiday. When we informed our arrival time by phone, the owner warmly welcomed us with a set of welcome drinks prepared accordingly. While enjoying the drinks at the café on the first floor, we completed our check-in process and received recommendations for nearby dining spots and onsens, which showed their love for Ibusuki. The building is old but very well-maintained, with everything we needed like a kettle and coffee maker readily available, making it highly satisfying. The view of Kinko Bay from the window was also beautiful. We were especially grateful to enjoy authentic coffee during our trip. We used the in-room coffee maker to prepare coffee and poured it into our travel pot to enjoy during our drive. Although we only stayed for one night, I felt that it would be enjoyable to spend more time here as a base for exploring Ibusuki with family or friends at leisure. We only had a brief conversation with the owner during check-in, but they were kind and attentive, making us feel warmly welcomed despite being tired and anxious from traveling—bringing us great comfort.
