This was my first stay in Yufuin Onsen. A week before my stay, there had been heavy rain and I was told train services were suspended, but the staff’s phone support left a very positive impression. I chose a detached Accommodation, and the Room was clean and the Onsen was excellent. There was something like insect repellent spray in the Room, so I wondered if there might be a lot of bugs, but it didn’t bother me at all. Both dinner and breakfast were very generous portions and simply delicious. The amount is more than I can finish, so I feel bad leaving food; I would appreciate it if you could offer a smaller-portion Plan as well.

We stayed with our 4-year-old. With a loft and a terrace, our child was delighted, saying, “What a lovely house!” The place was well prepared for the cold, with plenty of flowers and soft indirect lighting. The bathroom and changing area were spacious and easy to use. It would have been perfect if it had an Onsen, but the water was pleasantly soft. We also appreciated the juice and snacks as a parting gift. We’d love to stay again!

Close to the bus terminal, very convenient Well-equipped Facility: two-door refrigerator, IH stove Washing machine, separate toilet and bathroom, spacious balcony 5-minute walk to Kokusai Street Room is more spacious than expected

The neat, clean feel here completely erased the unpleasantness from the cottage-like place we stayed at the night before. Everything was new—the Room and the Facility—and it was simply very comfortable. It may be standard in Okinawa, but having both a washing machine and a gas dryer was incredibly convenient. We booked a Room with four beds, and for the first time we could separate them for pre-bath naps and for sleeping at night—my spouse and I kept remarking on how comfortable that was throughout our stay. We stayed as a couple with one daughter, and overall this is an Accommodation you can’t go wrong with. If I had to mention a downside, parking is paid in nearby lots (the reasonably priced ones are quietly a bit far). At check-in, the guidance made it seem as if there were an affiliated parking lot, which threw us off. A Hotel I can recommend without hesitation.

I stayed here for a hometown artist’s triumphant return concert at Koshien. Above all, it was the closest Hotel to the venue, which was extremely helpful for elderly guests. The staff were warm and welcoming, and they kindly stored our luggage after checkout, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing nearby. Thank you very much.

I tend to check the exterior on Google Maps in advance. This time as well, I looked it up beforehand and thought it seemed like an older Hotel, but since it was this price with an Onsen, I decided to stay—and it pleasantly surprised me. The room was very spacious and extremely clean, and the bed and pillows were soft; I slept wonderfully. The only downside was that—though I’m not sure if it was just that day—the Wi‑Fi didn’t connect at all. The Onsen has a great view, but I did notice the shower water pressure was weak and the bath depth was a bit shallow. Still, I’m grateful there’s a large public bath, so it was totally acceptable.

It was my first trip to Miyakojima. I chose this place for the location, price, and villa-style setup, and it was excellent. Having a washing machine and detergent provided was truly appreciated! There’s also a water tap near the entrance, which was helpful for rinsing off dirt. I was looking forward to breakfast as well since it’s a sister restaurant of a famous spot! You choose from a set menu, and everything was delicious. It also comes with a drink bar and soup bar. It made for a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

I had a great-value stay.

For our summer trip to Shimane Prefecture, we chose Matsudairakaku based on everyone’s Reviews. The spacious, spotless Room connected to the garden was wonderful, and dinner was truly more than we could finish—we looked forward to it every night. They also had a great selection of local sake, and we ended up drinking a bit too much. When sightseeing, they shared recommended routes that only locals would know. On our last day, since we had an early departure, they kindly prepared breakfast earlier for us as well—we apologize for the inconvenience. Everything was perfect, and it made for a fantastic trip to Shimane. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

We chose a Room with a private Onsen and stayed there. It was our first time, and the futons were already laid out in the Room, with consideration given to minimizing unnecessary staff entry. As it is mineral spring water, it is heated, but the clear, colorless water was easy to soak in and warmed us up nicely even at a lukewarm temperature. The meals were excellent—sashimi and grilled fish that you wouldn’t expect for a place near the mountains. Insects may occasionally wander into the open-air bath in the Room, which some guests might find bothersome, but we were fine with it. If it were closer, we would love to visit this Accommodation again.

My siblings live in different prefectures, so we used this place as an opportunity for the whole family to get together. There were 12 of us—my sister’s family with two dogs, my brother’s family with children, my spouse and I, my parents, and my grandmother—so we booked two buildings. There was a large long table, and extra chairs were kept in the bedroom, so everyone could sit together in one building and enjoy meals as a group. (There was also a chair for small children.) The space is very spacious, so even when we all gathered it never felt cramped. There’s also a sofa area where everyone could relax however they liked. The warmth of the wood made it feel truly wonderful. We were also very grateful that we could message to arrange check-in this time. It was convenient to pay the Accommodation Tax and pet fee via PayPay using the provided QR code. Even though the kids got very excited and had lots of fun, it’s a private space so we felt comfortable staying there without worry. For bathing, we used the Onsen at a nearby Ryokan within walking distance. The Onsen lovers in our family even went again in the morning. If you bring your own ingredients, everything else is provided—tableware and appliances—so it was incredibly helpful. There was also a rice cooker so we could cook rice easily, which we really appreciated. Inside the Room there was also an iron plate and grill net for yakiniku-style BBQ, which made the meat taste even better. There is also a locked dog run on site, which is great for guests with pets. The price was very reasonable—thank you so much for letting us stay in such a wonderful place. We would love to stay again.

Run by a warm and thoughtful couple. The entire property is spotless, and we were truly impressed by the carefully prepared breakfast and dinner. An outstanding Accommodation in every way.

Found this accommodation on the way to Kanazawa. It was a plan featuring blackthroat seaperch, abalone, and crab. The facility is old, but the quality of the bath was truly excellent. The high salt content made it very warming, and I stayed cozy for a long time. The room was a bit disappointing. Since it was named "Miharashi," I had been looking forward to enjoying the view from the window, but unfortunately, the view wasn't great. However, dining in a private room offered a somewhat decent view. The food came in an overwhelming quantity! Everything was delicious and left me completely full. However, there wasn’t any menu or explanation about the dishes provided, which was slightly disappointing. Breakfast included an entire Pacific saury fish—quite surprising! Despite eating so much at dinner that I thought I couldn’t eat anymore, I ended up finishing everything because even the rice tasted amazing. I’m really glad we chose this accommodation for our stay!

The detached Japanese-Western style room was wonderful in terms of its Facility, amenities, and atmosphere! Since it has no stairs like a cottage, it was easy to come and go even with heavy luggage.

I only met the staff at check-in; after that, I didn’t really see anyone, and check-out is simple—just drop the key in the box. The Room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, be careful with the bath water—it’s extremely hot (maybe around 50°C). It takes time to cool it down with the shower, so it’s not ideal if multiple people need to use the bath one after another.

I felt safe and comfortable thanks to the women-only floor. The Room was spacious enough, clean, and comfortable. Using the lockable luggage storage area helped free up even more space in the Room, which was great. The toilets and shower rooms were also very well cleaned. However, it was frustrating that someone who arrived late at night reorganized their luggage in the hallway and made a lot of noise. I think it would be even more comfortable if there were a clear notice asking guests to do any major luggage sorting between 22:00 and 6:00 in shared areas rather than in the hallway.

I stayed here for a live concert trip. My skin felt so smooth after the Onsen! Breakfast in nature was absolutely delicious.

Overall, this was a Ryokan with an exceptionally high level of satisfaction. This time, we stayed in the Kusamakura Room. There were two of us, but the Room was so spacious it felt almost too large, and premium amenities were provided—so much so that we didn’t need to bring anything from home. The Room has its own bath, and when you open the door it becomes an open-air bath, which was wonderful. There was also a footbath in the garden outside. Because the hot spring source temperature is low—and perhaps because other guests start filling their baths right after check-in—it was a bit disappointing that filling the bath while heating it took quite some time. The meals were very satisfying, featuring spiny lobster, and all of the tableware used was beautiful as well. At check-in, you can choose stylish chopsticks yourself and take them home; even after returning home, seeing them brings back lovely memories.
