The breakfast was delicious. There is also a convenience store nearby, which was very convenient.

It was my first time back in Marugame in a while. The Room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious—very satisfying. Breakfast had plenty of options as well. I really wanted to have some corn soup.

During two business trips to Osaka this month, I stayed at Best Western both times for a Multiple Night Stay. The bed was large and the Room was spacious, so I had a very comfortable stay. However, I was bothered by other guests speaking loudly in the hallway late at night. I understand that each floor may be hard to navigate, but I hope something can be done. I realized on the second day how delicious the breakfast bread is. Also, would it be possible to switch the nightwear to a stretch fabric? The cotton material felt uncomfortable to sleep in.

We stayed as a three-generation family to support the Carp. It was great to be able to walk back after the game. The Room was very clean. The bathroom was spacious, and having a washer with a dryer was very convenient for families with small children. It would be even better if there were a way to hang items like support uniforms that we don't want to put in the dryer in the bathroom.

It was a new and very clean Hotel. The unmanned check-in and smart key made everything easy. What made us choose this Hotel was that MaxValu is within walking distance, parking is free, and there is a large public bath! We booked two Rooms for our family of seven, and with that many people, waiting your turn for the bath can be quite stressful, so it was great that we could all go to the large public bath at night and bathe at once. However, there didn’t seem to be much security for the baths (anyone can enter from the 1st floor), so women should be careful late at night. There were also about 10 washing machines available, so we could use them without waiting. The location is excellent, so we would like to stay here again.

I stayed here because I wanted to relax in the Onsen. Since access between the Accommodation and the main building with the Onsen was only available until 22:00, it was disappointing that I couldn’t use the Onsen late at night or early in the morning, but otherwise I was satisfied. The set meals at the dinner dining area felt a bit pricey. Also, you need a smartphone to place orders. Because it’s surrounded by rice fields and feels quite isolated, it’s best to buy what you need before check-in. I believe the Hotel shop was only open until 21:30 as well. It’s a little inconvenient but acceptable. I’d like to stay again.

The proprietress and staff were wonderfully attentive in the best way, and it felt like a traditional ryokan carrying on the charm of the good old days. By chance, there was a major festival held around the ryokan—something that happens only once every few years—so we were also able to enjoy its magical atmosphere. Thank you very much.

Although the building is old, the location is great, the Room was clean, and best of all, it was a good value for money.

I had to book after noon on the day due to a sudden business trip, but fortunately there was a vacancy and I was able to stay. This was my second stay, and the front desk staff were courteous. The Room was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. Thank you as well for keeping my ice packs for me! I would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Once again, we enjoyed delicious meals. It was a wonderful day.

The warm, welcoming atmosphere from everyone at the Ryokan was wonderful. The Room was clean and very relaxing. From the flavors to the presentation, the meals were truly enjoyable, delicious, and outstanding. The portions seemed a bit small at first, so if you let your guard down you might not make it to the end—happy problem to have. (Laughs) The beer in the Room wasn’t ice-cold, so next time I’ll grab one from the back!! I’ll visit again in a different season—thank you in advance.

I visited after a mountain hike. At check-in, we were offered only a cold hand towel, with no tea or sweets, and were shown to our Room. The Accommodation is small, but it felt clean throughout, including the Room, so we were able to stay comfortably in that respect. There was also complimentary beer service, but it was a bit disappointing that it was served in a cup rather than a mug or glass. The bath uses mineral spring water and has no taste or smell. I didn’t notice anything in particular while soaking, but after a while my skin felt smooth. Also, as time passed my body warmed up nicely, so it’s a good bath. As the Reviews said, the meals featured plenty of Toyama ingredients. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, but I think the dining experience would be even better with some explanation of the dishes. That said, during the meal the staff member in charge only said things like “Here you are” and “I’ll clear these,” which felt a little impersonal. I could hear another staff member serving the table behind us saying things like “Would you like more rice?” and “Would you like seconds?”, so it may depend on each person’s approach—but I wished for slightly more guest-focused service from our attendant. I was also concerned about there being cameras installed in several places; it felt somewhat like being watched. If they were placed more discreetly or with more consideration, it might feel less uncomfortable. Overall though, I think it was a good Accommodation.

With its high ceilings, the space felt open and truly luxurious. Both the bath and sauna were spacious, allowing you to relax at your own pace. The sauna also offers self-service löyly, so it heats up properly—an authentic setup that even sauna enthusiasts will be satisfied with. It was also impressive how the concept was consistently carried through to the smallest details, from pajamas and cooking utensils to lighting, reflecting the owner’s careful attention. From the large windows, we enjoyed panoramic views of lush greenery and Mt. Omuro, which were soothing both in the morning and at sunset. For breakfast, we grilled dried fish ourselves; it felt special in a way that’s different from a Ryokan experience, and it was delicious. The space, Facility offerings, and views were all outstanding—an Accommodation we’d love to visit again in a different season.

We stayed for one night right after Golden Week. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable. We chose a plan without meals and enjoyed takeout from local restaurants in Nasu, so we could relax and spend a peaceful evening in the Room with our dog. The owner couple and their family dog were very friendly (sorry our dog is shy). We would love to stay again.

I had been wanting to stay here whenever I visited Kobe, drawn by the breakfast. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a great selection not only of bread and sweets but also sausages, omelets, beef stew, and more. The room was spacious and clean, and I was able to relax comfortably.

Everything was excellent. We had both dinner and breakfast. You could really feel the chef’s attention to detail. It was delicious! The rice was especially great! Free beer was the best!

In Hida Takayama, I searched by price and chose this place because it was one of the cheapest and looked clean. For our family of five, we booked a Room with two large beds and two standard beds, and it was the perfect choice. The kids loved it because it felt special. I’ve stayed at many Hotels before, and this place was as clean as a luxury Hotel, plus it even had a drum-style washing machine. Great value for the price—highly recommended.

Everything felt thoughtfully cared for, down to the smallest details. The interior is lovely and relaxing. The loaner bicycles were very helpful for shopping trips. It’s conveniently located near both the remote island terminal and the bus terminal, making it easy to get around.

This was our first stay as a couple at an auberge-style inn. We usually don’t drink alcohol with dinner, but the delicious mountain and sea cuisine tempted us to order some. The location was wonderfully quiet, and we were able to truly relax. The hospitality and food were outstanding—so much so that we’d love to return in every season.

This is an ideal Hotel for families with children. We stayed as a parent and child, and it was a trip of nonstop play and plenty of drinks. It rained heavily that day, so we only played indoors. Even so, there was more than enough to do, and our child was completely satisfied. Parents can also relax with a drink in hand while watching their kids play, making it a special getaway for adults as well. Above all, the dedication of the Hotel staff was truly moving. Their care for children felt so professional that it could have been a daycare center. It’s common to see a cake brought out at dinner for a child’s birthday, but this Hotel goes beyond that. I won’t share details to avoid spoilers, but the performance despite the rain became an unforgettable experience. The event starting at 9:00 PM also surprised us with its creative, child-participation format. Parents were exhausted by then, but seeing our child’s happy smile—and the staff’s thoughtful production—made us feel happy too. One challenge was that there is no large public bath. There are only two private baths indoors and two outdoors, so it becomes very competitive. Since you can’t make a Reservation and can only enter if one is available, we managed to use one once by luck but couldn’t find any availability after that. The outdoor open-air baths were difficult in the rain because you have to walk there with an umbrella, so we gave up. Also disappointing was that the Shuttle Service pick-up point at Ito Station has no roof. We waited in the rain, and when a bus finally arrived it turned out to be for another affiliated property—overall it was hard to understand. The price range felt on the higher side, but considering how happy our child was and how devoted the staff service is, overall satisfaction felt high.
