This time, we were finally able to visit Seijakubou, and it became a truly wonderful wedding anniversary and 50th birthday celebration. At dinner, they surprised us with an anniversary dessert plate, and I was deeply moved. The room and the entire property were impeccably clean, and the open-air bath was so amazing that I used it six times. Breakfast was plentiful as well—an excellent menu. Above all, the staff’s attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness really came through, making us feel certain: we will definitely come again. It’s not a place we can easily visit on short notice due to the distance, but we will absolutely return. Thank you very much!!

Right in front of the station, so you can get there without getting lost. The room was very clean, and the amenities included a choice of bath salts; the fridge had Chill Out and chocolate. Although the room was compact with a unit bath/toilet, I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. The front desk staff were also kind and helpful.

As soon as we passed through Hyakurakuso’s gate, a staff member came out to greet us with a warm, welcoming smile. I had been wanting to visit this ryokan for its cave bath for a long time, and I was finally able to make it. The bath we had been looking forward to was wonderful, and the meals were also outstanding—every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. What made us especially glad we stayed here was the genuine care and attentiveness of the staff. We were able to enjoy a relaxing, unhurried time away from everyday life.\nWe would love to visit again.

I stayed for two days, and I was truly impressed by the staff’s kind and attentive service. I have stayed at many Hotels across Japan, but I was once again struck by the meticulous hospitality at Hotel Okura Kyoto. Throughout my stay, their genuine desire to help guests feel as comfortable as possible came through naturally in many situations. During my stay, I dined at the French restaurant on the 17th floor and also used room service; both the food quality and service were impeccable. More than just its Facilities or location, I feel that the staff’s hospitality itself is one of this Hotel’s greatest attractions. It was a Hotel where I would definitely like to stay again.

I’m always grateful for the wide variety of breakfast options here, and I’ve also noticed that many areas—such as the baths—are barrier-free, which is very reassuring. I’d like to stay here again in the future. In particular, the Onsen doesn’t have rocky, uneven surfaces, so I don’t have to worry about slipping or falling.

From the wonderful staff to the view from our room, the colorful and exciting meals, and even the aquarium—everything was outstanding. If I had to mention one thing, it was a bit inconvenient needing a card key for the elevator and other small things, but if you think of it as security, it’s no problem at all. It truly was amazing. My father’s eyes were sparkling like a child’s. We were somehow upgraded to a room as well, and our child cheered at the stylish, open space. The bed was so comfortable it felt like a dream—I slept soundly for the first time in decades. I was amazed. We also really appreciated having two rooms next to each other. We were able to borrow a wheelchair smoothly, and without using any stairs from the hotel we could safely enjoy visiting the aquarium together as three generations. Because our child is so busy we haven’t been able to take a family trip, so we thought about somewhere nice nearby that we could go on short notice—and Suma Aquarium came to mind with fond memories. We’re thrilled that such a wonderful hotel has opened. Thank you for such a lovely time.

I finally found an Accommodation that truly satisfied me after a long time. The pick-up at the station, the welcome at the entrance, and the greeting at the front desk all left a lasting impression. The hospitality from our attendant and everyone at the Ryokan was excellent. The food was delicious, and the Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. If I had one request, since I tend to get hot easily, I would have appreciated one or two more fans in the changing room after bathing—but this is purely my personal preference. I would like to stay again.

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

I caused you a great deal of trouble, but everyone spoke to me so kindly that it truly helped me. The price is almost too low! The in-room lotion was my favorite brand, there were two sinks, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. It was a shame there was no view from the open-air bath, but I found myself hoping—thinking from the owner’s perspective—that your service will continue just as it is so you won’t lose guests until the construction is finished. Even without a view from the window, this is a wonderful Ryokan. Thank you very much for everything.

This was my first stay at Hotel Aoki. The hot spring was wonderful—my skin felt so smooth, and I loved it. The meal was also excellent; the horse sashimi was amazing and delicious, and the drinks went down easily. I’ll be back again.

The building itself has a sense of history, but the interior was very clean, and the room was impeccably maintained—excellent! Dinner was outstanding in both flavor and presentation. Breakfast was average. All staff were professional, and it was truly impressive to receive such pleasant service at a regional hotel in the best possible way. I stayed with my parents, and they were also very satisfied—it became a wonderful travel memory for us. Thank you!

I stayed here last year and was very satisfied, so I chose this Hotel again this year. Above all, the highlight is the wide variety of food. Everything was delicious, and I ended up going back for seconds many times. The pork shabu-shabu served in a small hot pot was especially outstanding, and I loved that you can shabu-shabu not only pork but also seafood. With several broth options to choose from, I could enjoy it exactly the way I like. In addition, there were sushi and sashimi, Tokushima ramen, freshly fried tempura, and a great selection of other dishes such as crispy lotus root and sweet potato chips—so much variety that I enjoyed every bite without getting bored until the very end. At the large public bath, bath towels and face towels were provided in the lobby area, so it was very comfortable to be able to use fresh towels each time. There was also complimentary ice cream after bathing, which felt like a thoughtful touch. The night view from my Room was also wonderful—the sparkling city lights were truly beautiful and made for an unforgettable moment. I was completely satisfied with everything—food, baths, service, and views—and it’s a fantastic Hotel that makes me want to come back again.

Having two sinks was also very convenient. However, I tripped on the step at the entrance to the washroom, so I hope this can be improved. - Dining: Every dish in the dinner course looked and tasted amazing. Drinks were free-flow with a glass-exchange system, so we enjoyed beer and sparkling wine. For breakfast, we could choose from three types of galettes, and they were delicious. Curry was also included, which would be great for those with a big appetite—our group doesn’t eat much, so we ended up feeling very full. - The lounge was also a wonderful space where we could relax comfortably. - There was also a large public bath—this was one of the main reasons we chose this property—and everything about it was excellent. We would definitely like to stay again.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed here together. First of all, the staff service was outstanding. From the team member who picked us up from the parking lot, to the one who escorted us to our room, to the person in charge of our meals—and even those we passed in the hallway—everyone had such warm smiles and made us feel truly welcome. The moment we entered our room, it felt impeccably clean (it even had an AirDog air purifier!). The large windows made it bright and open, the amenities were plentiful, and both the bed and futon were so comfortable that we slept soundly. The in-house guide on the provided iPad was also extremely convenient. We enjoyed our meals in a building with 100 years of history. Being able to dine in such a historic setting alone felt like a special experience. As for the food itself—I’m no gourmet—but it was simply delicious. You could really sense the chef’s attention to detail, and every dish was beautiful as well as enjoyable to eat. At breakfast there was even a small Nambu ironware teapot used as a chopstick rest; I ended up buying one along with chopsticks as souvenirs. The bath temperature was perfect for me and very relaxing. Finally—and what impressed me most—was how every single staff member seemed united in their focus on making guests happy. I’ve experienced great service at many places, but there’s usually variation from person to person. Here, that inconsistency was almost nonexistent; nothing felt scripted—just genuinely natural hospitality. I would absolutely love to stay again next time.

Top-rated in every aspect that defines a Ryokan—Onsen, dining, comfort, and views. Truly one of the very best Ryokan in Kyushu. Next time, I’d like to stay for two nights.

I stayed here as a birthday gift for my sister. We were amazed the moment we entered the Room—not only did you prepare a Room with a view of the five-story pagoda, but you also gifted us sparkling wine to celebrate. My sister was absolutely thrilled. In the lounge, we enjoyed a wide variety of drinks and alcohol, along with visually stunning sweets and carefully crafted dishes. At night, we dined at the rooftop bar while taking in Kyoto’s night views. For breakfast, I chose a conger eel hot pot—something rare for a Hotel breakfast—and truly savored Kyoto’s summer flavors. We were also able to visit Kiyomizu-dera early in the morning when it was quiet and uncrowded, which made us very happy. It seems it became a wonderful memory for my sister as well. Thank you very much for taking so many photos for us.

I booked this ryokan for my in-laws’ trip, as I had previously given it to my mother as a gift and she absolutely loved it. They said everything was outstanding—the beautiful interior, the meals, and the baths. In particular, my parents-in-law live relatively nearby, but they were amazed to discover such a wonderful ryokan so close to home. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Shimane. The staff were very attentive, and the person who showed us to our Room was kind and considerate, which made our stay wonderful. The bath in the Room was spacious, the view was great, and the meals were delicious and generous in portion size. Everything was excellent, but I’m sorry I wasn’t able to eat the steak. This is my favorite Accommodation: the well-maintained interior always helps me feel refreshed both body and mind in the Room’s open-air bath, and I can enjoy a French course dinner in casual attire. I will definitely stay again.

The meals were beautifully presented, and everything tasted truly delicious. They were a delight to look at as well, and you could feel the care put into each dish. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned, and we were able to spend our time comfortably. The staff kindly answered our questions, which helped us learn about the origins of Kaminoyama Onsen and plan our sightseeing. My spouse loved it too and said we would like to stay again for the meals. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay and it was a wonderful time.
