This accommodation is located right next to a famous architectural accommodation in Shibu Onsen, in front of the ninth bath of the Sotoyu Meguri. It is an ideal location for enjoying the Sotoyu Meguri. The hospitality from all staff, including the proprietress, is exceptional, making it a very pleasant place to stay. While the guest rooms are slightly dated, the meals are impeccable in both variety and taste, and of course, the onsen water soothes deep into your body to relieve daily fatigue. For us as a couple, this accommodation exceeded our expectations.

A private sauna in the room—what a luxury!!! This Hotel, newly built just last year, is stylish and pristine in every aspect, from the interior and exterior to the shared spaces! The welcome drink was sophisticated and satisfying. The sauna room can heat up to 110°C. It reaches 100°C in just 20-30 minutes after turning it on, and you can enjoy a perfect "löyly" session with added aroma. The cold plunge pool is ice-cold and absolutely refreshing!!! Simply flawless. I forgot something during my stay, but the staff's response and careful packaging were incredibly thoughtful. I will definitely stay here again!

I stayed here with friends. The location was incredibly convenient, so it was great to be able to come back right away after a night out. I expected it might be noisy at night because there were many international guests, but it wasn’t noisy at all. The bathrooms and other water facilities were also clean. If you want a great value stay, this is the place!

The bath and toilet were separate, and the bathtub was spacious—I enjoyed soaking in it several times. The bed was sturdy with no squeaking, and the pillow was a “Hitsuji ga Inai Makura,” so I slept soundly! I wasn’t bothered at all by noise from the neighboring Room. The only thing that concerned me was a drunk person sleeping on the front desk sofa—was it really okay to leave them there?

We found this Accommodation while looking for a place where six people across three generations could stay, as we had plans nearby the next day. We requested a change to our Reservation right before our stay, and they handled it quickly and courteously, which was a huge help. First of all, the location—within walking distance of the Bikan Historical Quarter—was excellent. We checked in early and used the Accommodation as a base to enjoy sightseeing. On the day we stayed, the surrounding roads were congested and nearby parking lots seemed to be full, so we especially appreciated how convenient this location was. For dinner and breakfast, we brought back takeout from the Bikan area and groceries from a supermarket and ate at the Accommodation. There were plenty of easy options even with kids—pizza, yakitori, deli foods, croquettes, etc. There were also enough dishes and cooking utensils provided, so cooking was stress-free. The complimentary kuromame (black soybean) coffee was delicious too. The interior is a comfortable traditional house; while spending time on the first floor, we hardly noticed any outside noise. Mosquito-repellent items were also provided, which showed thoughtful attention to detail. The lighting was slightly dim for our taste, so we moved one of the upstairs lights downstairs to use it there. The bathroom has been renovated and is as easy to use as a typical apartment bath unit. With two toilets and two faucets at the sink area, even our large group could stay comfortably without inconvenience. The only thing that stood out was that when sleeping upstairs, we could hear cars passing on the road in front more than expected. Because of that I wouldn’t say we slept soundly through the night. Earplugs were provided—I assume this is why—and it might have been quieter if we had slept downstairs. In addition to that: an umbrella stand with spare umbrellas for rainy days; air conditioning already running when we arrived; plastic wrap; coffee with a grinder—everything you’d be happy to have was thoughtfully prepared. It was an Accommodation where you can truly feel attentive hospitality throughout your stay.

The Room and bathroom were clean, and light snacks were included, making it very comfortable to stay.

We stayed in the Rainbow Room on a four-generation family trip. We were very satisfied with both the Room and the bath. Our 84-year-old mother and our 2-year-old grandchild were both delighted. For dinner, we wondered if just rice and sukiyaki would be enough, but the Oita beef was so delicious that we all gathered around the hot pot and enjoyed it together. It might be nice to bring a few extra items with you. It would also be great if refills of rice were available. Breakfast was delicious as well. The Accommodation staff made a very good impression, too. We’d love to come again with everyone.

It was my first stay here in a while. I was happy that you upgraded my Room again. I like watching Hirado Castle at night. This time it was cloudy and I couldn’t see the sunrise, but the view was still very beautiful and it’s one of the things I look forward to every time.

A year after falling ill, I was finally feeling well again and truly enjoyed the soft-shelled turtle dishes. I did wish the portions were a bit larger, but considering the price, it felt reasonable. Overall, I was satisfied.

The room was so clean that it seemed like it had just been made. I was satisfied with the bath amenities and the bed. Above all, the staff at the property. When I mentioned that I was going to the Toshiya at Sanjusangendo (Sanjusangendo), they made suggestions to accommodate that, and I was pleased with their thoughtfulness.

While the building and Facility are showing their age, they are well maintained and there are no issues. The desk lamp is dimmable, so it should be fine for using a laptop or similar devices. The service from the front desk staff and the breakfast venue staff was pleasant.

This was my 6th visit to Nakanosawa Onsen and 2nd stay at Osakaya. The onsen water at Nakanosawa Onsen is excellent, which keeps me coming back. While the onsen town lacks entertainment, it’s unnecessary if your main purpose is enjoying the hot springs. Since it was a weekday after summer vacation, there were no other guests, allowing us to enjoy a private experience—an unexpected luxury! At Osakaya, the "Irori Plan" offers outstanding meals. Every dish—from small appetizers to horse sashimi, boar hot pot, and 100% buckwheat soba—is exquisite. Even the rice balls served as a late-night snack are delicious. While the room location may not be ideal for views, the quality of the onsen and meals more than justifies the price. I look forward to visiting again!

To drive along National Route 252 by the Tadami Line, I made a Reservation at this Accommodation in Aizu-Yanaizu, the gateway town. At first, only the No Meals Included Plan was available, but after calling to confirm eligibility for Fukushima travel support discounts, they kindly changed it to a Plan with both dinner and breakfast. The location is excellent in central Yanaizu, and you can park across the street at a free public parking lot. On arrival in the lobby, I was welcomed with an iced coffee welcome drink, and arranging a time for the private open-air bath as well as meal times went smoothly. My Room was a 6-tatami Japanese-style room on the third floor (no elevator). It was more than spacious enough for one person, very clean, and equipped with a sink and refrigerator. The toilet is shared (separate men’s/women’s) on the same floor. For Onsen bathing, there is a private rooftop open-air bath and separate men’s/women’s indoor baths on the fourth floor. The open-air bath feels handmade and doesn’t offer much of a view, but what truly impressed me was the indoor bath: fresh water continuously overflowing from the source (free-flowing), a cloudy sodium chloride spring with abundant volume at just the right temperature—far better quality than expected. Dinner is served at a modern soba restaurant created by renovating a storehouse behind the Accommodation. The main Sarashina soba had great texture and was excellent overall, including the warm chicken-and-burdock dipping broth. That said, it was disappointing that the appetizer tempura had gone cold, and I felt that adding something local such as basashi (horse sashimi) would make it even more satisfying. In that case, choosing No Meals Included and ordering freely from the restaurant menu could also be a good option. Breakfast is prepared in a private room next to the lobby; along with juice or soup, you receive a plate centered on bread and rice. Service is attentive, though opinions may differ on value for money depending on expectations. At 11,000 yen at full price it invites comparison with nearby Accommodations around here; however after discounts my satisfaction level was more than adequate. Above all else،the cleanliness throughout иandthe owner’s sincere、warm hospitality were outstanding—an Accommodation I can recommend even to Tadami Line travelers without а car.

This Hotel is highly recommended for anyone considering a stay around Lake Yamanaka near Mt. Fuji. What I appreciated most was the free Shuttle Service from the Fujisan-Yamanakako bus stop to the Hotel. It is available between 15:00 and 17:00, and being taken directly to the Hotel after getting off the bus made me feel very comfortable even on my first visit. If you plan to use it, be sure to make a Reservation in advance online or by phone. The location is also excellent, and Rooms on the Mt. Fuji side offer a stunning view of Mt. Fuji right from the window—truly a highlight. Being able to relax in your Room while enjoying that view feels special. All of the staff were very kind, and it was impressive how attentive and pleasant everyone was, regardless of nationality. The overall atmosphere was warm, and I felt at ease throughout my stay. Before staying, I had seen in a Review that “the shower room is a bit small,” which made me slightly concerned, but in reality it was a unit-bath style setup and personally felt like an appropriate size. It was easier to use than I expected, with no inconvenience at all. I also added meals on-site, and the eel course was excellent—I was very satisfied. There were plenty of dishes included, which was especially enjoyable for an eel lover like me. With great views, location, service, and dining all well balanced, this is a Hotel I would happily choose again.

For my first trip to Saga, I stayed at this accommodation that I had been curious about for a long time. This time, I chose a room with an open-air bath that I couldn't stop thinking about. The bath was spacious, and the changing scenery and temperature throughout the day made it absolutely perfect! Since I'm not interested in saunas at all, I spent most of my time soaking in the room's bath. The staff were kind, and although I didn't have high expectations for TeamLab, it was impressive how they repurposed unused areas of the accommodation for collaboration. Of course, TeamLab itself was wonderful too. The food was delicious; however, if there's one thing to mention—it might be that the dining area felt either too bright or perhaps the tables were placed too close together... It gave off a slightly restless vibe or lacked a sense of calmness compared to other spaces in the accommodation. It almost felt like stepping into a completely different place with more of a cafeteria-like atmosphere—not disappointing but noticeably different from elsewhere in this lovely accommodation. Still, it's definitely an accommodation I'd love to visit again! Thank you so much to all the staff!

Good hotel. Kind staff. Clean and user-friendly. However, please note that with the IKYU UI, even if you make a reservation for the main building, you may be assigned to the annex. The annex is about a 5-minute walk but is a completely separate building.

Good value for the price. The service, location, parking, and overall convenience are all decent. Amenities are standard and well stocked. If I have the chance, I’d consider it as one of my options again.

Conveniently located near the station, with a convenience store within walking distance. There is also a large public bath available from evening until late at night. The Room is clean and comfortable.

It was newly renovated and very clean. There were power outlets everywhere. I appreciated the hygienic touches, like paper cups in the washroom and disposable slippers. The provided shampoo and other amenities were from well-known brands, so I used them. It’s in a relatively quiet area, so I slept well. Since it’s a compact Room, it made me chuckle that the air purifier fit perfectly into the gap between the bed and the wall. I wanted to ventilate after waking up, but it was a type of window without any bars or guardrails, so we weren’t allowed to open it, which was a bit disappointing. The front desk staff were also pleasant. At checkout, they gave me some nice tissues, which made me quietly happy. I took taxis both ways from Otagawa Station: on the way there, Meitetsu Chita Taxi from the rotary cost 1,350 yen; on the way back, when I asked at the front desk, Daiichi Kotsu Shachi came in about 10 minutes and it was 1,650 yen. Even with both fares combined, my stay was cheaper than staying in central Nagoya. The lobby where I waited for the taxi was spacious with a great view—very pleasant.

It may not be flashy, but this Accommodation offers great meals, excellent cleanliness, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The building itself is probably old, but it is kept very clean. You lay out your own futon, but since you can do it whenever you like, it was actually better that way. And the food was absolutely delicious! At dinner, they timed things perfectly and brought soup just when we were ready to eat rice. They also kindly accommodated our request to change breakfast to a boxed meal for pickup at 4:00 a.m. due to an early departure. The front desk staff were very kind and pleasant. They let us leave our luggage in a large hall while we went hiking, and after coming down we could bathe and then sort our bags and rest there, which was a huge help. When climbing Mt. Oyama, I would definitely like to stay here again.
