The all-inclusive plan was very satisfying for families with children. I personally felt nostalgic about the little crunchy ice treats—they reminded me of my childhood, and they were really delicious! The Room was spacious and beautifully renovated, so it felt very clean. The building itself is probably older, so the unit bathroom was extremely small, but it wasn’t an issue since we could use the large public bath. The kids’ area was spacious and really helpful. We planned to use the pool, but it wasn’t open due to unexpectedly low temperatures and weather—this is my only regret. The food was delicious, and they didn’t strictly enforce time limits, so even while juggling our child we were able to eat plenty for the first time in a while. (My recommendations are the kanpyo with wasabi at breakfast and the simmered yuba at dinner.) Our 1-year-and-10-month-old son also seemed to enjoy his first Hotel stay—he was all smiles. (The surprise stuffed toy that came with our Room was adorable; he wouldn’t let go of it, and it made me happy too.) We will definitely come again! Thank you very much!

Considering our luggage for the day after our stay, we chose this Hotel near Tokyo Station. It was within walking distance of the concert venue at Tokyo International Forum, and the Hotel was easy to find. The Room was comfortable and conveniently had a small table and chairs. There is also an Ishikawa Prefecture antenna shop nearby, and we would definitely like to stay here again next time!

This was my first stay. The view from the Room was wonderful, right by Lake Hamana. Since it was summer, we brought handheld fireworks, and they kindly lent us a bucket and candles so we could enjoy them by the lakeside. They also provide a designated trash disposal area, so I highly recommend it. We chose the Plan with dinner and breakfast included and enjoyed buffet-style meals with a wide variety of options, including gyoza and eel—both my spouse and I were very satisfied. On the second day, an unexpected issue came up and we returned to the Hotel late at night; the staff assisted us. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. During the dinner buffet, they served a fruit plate and more, which made us very happy!! The hospitality and service deserve more than five stars. This is the first time I’ve truly wanted to stay again.

We stayed during the summer vacation period. There were many families with children, and the pool was crowded, but we still enjoyed it. As other Reviews mention, the in-house Facilities are undeniably dated, but everything felt clean and it was a pleasant stay. There may not be many power outlets. The air conditioning wasn’t very strong, so the Room felt warm. I didn’t have high expectations for breakfast, but it exceeded them—the open-kitchen omelets were delicious, and I especially liked the chilled yuzu ramen. For those who enjoy a drink in the morning, there was also wine available, so I think you can relax. If you’re looking to have fun nearby with access to a pool included, this is a good option. We would like to stay again.

This was our first stay. With the ocean right in front of us and a pool to enjoy, it became an unforgettable memory. The kids especially loved the night pool. The next morning we had an early breakfast and headed out first thing; there were many different shops and we had a great time. After that, we tried On the Sea and enjoyed the beach and pool until lunchtime. We accidentally left something behind, but it was found the next day and mailed to us. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, and we were very satisfied. The view from the Onsen was wonderful, and we were especially happy that there was a carbonated bath. The price was reasonable and made it easy to stay, which was very helpful. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

It feels great to stretch out in the bath, but when you look up at the ceiling, it’s a stark contrast to how clear the water is—I wish it were cleaner. Still, many guests will likely feel pleasantly relieved by touches like freshly fried croquettes in the morning and even curry served during happy hour. Hearing that if a new Hotel is built next door, they’ll compete with heart really struck me.

I love the calm atmosphere of Tateshina Tokyu Hotel and have stayed here several times. Its setting in the forest, the dignified yet unpretentious interiors, and the quiet time you can spend here offer a charm that is hard to find at other hotels. This time was no different, and it reminded me again how much I like this hotel. Also, though it’s a small thing, I really like the toothbrushes in the guest rooms. They’re comfortable to use, and I can feel the hotel’s thoughtfulness even in these details. I hope you will continue with the current ones. On the other hand, precisely because I’ve been coming for many years, there are a few things that disappointed me. The biggest one is that Japanese dinner has been discontinued since this year. On a Multiple Night Stay, we used to enjoy being able to choose “Western tonight, Japanese tomorrow” within the hotel itself. Especially for us—who prefer not to drive once we arrive and instead relax in the forest or inside—the option was very important. French cuisine certainly has its appeal, but having Western meals both nights makes it feel like a slightly different hotel than before. I would be happy if Japanese dinner becomes an option again someday. I was also sorry to hear that the garden pool, long loved by guests, has ended operations starting this year. I understand it was due to aging facilities (Facility), but combined with the end of Japanese dinner options (Facility), it feels as though some of what made Tateshina Tokyu special is gradually disappearing. One more thing I would love to see enhanced is the in-house library collection (Facility). This is such a quiet Hotel where you can relax while looking out at the forest—perfect for reading. The current selection feels lacking not so much in quantity as in curation quality. If there were more books that you’d want to pick up specifically because you came to Tateshina—on Shinshu’s nature and culture, mountains, architecture, travel writing, literature—it would make time spent at this Hotel even richer. I’m not asking for new facilities or services one after another. Rather, I hope you will continue cherishing and preserving what makes this Hotel unique. These comments come from someone who truly likes this Hotel—and I hope to keep visiting for many years to come.

The building is old and shows some signs of age in places, but it is well cleaned and did not feel unpleasant. Breakfast seemed to be cooked on the spot, and considering the price, it was satisfying and very tasty. On the other hand, the Room was a bit small, and I had to move the chair each time I walked through. Personally, I think single beds rather than a double bed would have made better use of the space and been more comfortable.

I had just bought a late-night snack at the convenience store behind the property, and I was surprised by how different the service was. In any case, thank you again for your courteous assistance. As a woman staying one night, I made a same-day Reservation for the Hotel’s last available Room—a smoking single. Because the price was low, I was worried it might not be great, but the Room was clean, didn’t smell, and the Facility were well equipped, which made me very happy. What pleased me most was breakfast the next morning. I overslept and arrived right before closing when no other guests were there, but the staff kindly asked if I wanted refills of rice or miso soup, which meant a lot to me. I ordered a Japanese set meal, and it was delicious—I was very satisfied. The value for money was excellent, and I’d like to stay again. When I visit Chitose again, I will definitely use this Hotel. I also had coffee at the front desk the next morning—it was tasty—and when I left, the receptionist told me to take care as well. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and it was a wonderful Hotel—very clean, with an open and welcoming lobby. The room was spacious, well maintained, and felt very fresh and spotless. The Shuttle Service from Shin-Osaka Station was smooth and very convenient. I’d like to try the meals next time. Thank you for your hospitality.

A 5-minute walk from Asahibashi Station. The location was very convenient for using the Yui Rail and buses. Since it is new, the Room was stylish and comfortable. In particular, the spacious bathroom with a separate washing area was very relaxing. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious for the price. I was disappointed that the free drinks from 6:00 PM were not all-you-can-drink, but limited to one canned drink per person.

I made a reservation two days before my stay. Staying from Friday to Saturday, even with no meals included, I was satisfied with the price being under 7,000 yen. The antique-style furniture gave a sense of history and elegance, making it a lovely room. Although it was cold and snowing lightly, I strolled through the Japanese garden and found it to be a charming place. Choosing drinks (packs) and amenities was enjoyable and added to the experience. Recently, I've been staying at business hotels often, so staying here was a refreshing change of pace. The front desk staff were very pleasant—thank you!

Our first family trip in seven years. As the kids have grown up, it has become harder to coordinate schedules for all five of us, so we decided at the end of last year to make time during this summer vacation and planned this trip. We were very satisfied with the Room size, service, and meals—it felt like a shame that one night wasn’t enough to fully enjoy everything. We especially loved the seasoning of the dishes, Shimane-grown Koshihikari rice, and the local sake. We were extremely satisfied. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on a business trip. It was very helpful to be able to use the lounge and get some work done even before check-in. I was also happy that welcome drinks are always available, as some Hotels close this service before check-in hours. There was a wide selection of decaffeinated tea bags, which I appreciated. The bathroom felt spacious for the size of the Room. Amenities were kept to the essentials with no waste. There were no charging cables in the Room, but there is a great selection of items available to borrow, and it was convenient to pick them up at the front desk. Every staff member was pleasant and professional, making my stay very comfortable. Breakfast was also well stocked considering it is complimentary. Thank you very much.

If you can find Shin-Osaka’s East Exit, it’s just a 1-minute walk away and great value for money. The building and Facility are old, but everything was well cleaned, and the Room was spacious and comfortable. Everything you need for your stay is provided, so there were no inconveniences, and there’s a convenience store next door—more than enough.

We stayed for two nights from 8/23 in an annex Triple Room as a family of four, including a 9-year-old boy. When we checked in, four beds (one was a sofa bed) were already prepared. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower room even had a ReFa shower head. The amenities were more than sufficient. The entire Room was clean, and there was an electric kettle along with instant coffee and tea. Since our Room was on the first floor, we could step directly out into the front garden, and our child was thrilled to catch insects. The pool was also clean and very pleasant. The Onsen is effective for muscle fatigue relief and improving skin condition. We would definitely like to visit again.
