Hitachi Ocean View Hotel & Resort

I found this Accommodation by searching on YouTube and stayed for one night during Golden Week in May.The price was reasonable for a one-night stay with two meals included. Although it had a new name after a change in management from the previous Hotel, it felt like an old-fashioned city Hotel with a Showa-era vibe.It’s within walking distance of Hitachi Station, and there is plenty of parking, making it ideal as an Accommodation mainly for road trips. I didn’t expect much from the meals given the price, but they were delicious and a drink was included, so it felt like a great deal.On the second day, we were also able to visit nearby Kamine Park and the zoo, which made for a fun trip.I’d like to use it again when traveling around the Hitachi area.The Room was on an upper floor just as I had hoped.

The Facility had a retro, Showa-era feel, but the Room had a great view of the ocean. I thought dinner would be a choice from three set menus, but there were actually quite a few options, and I really enjoyed the fried chicken set meal.One free drink was included, and since there was a promotion, we received an additional drink as well—I enjoyed some delicious wine.If I have the chance, I’d love to stay again.
