Hotel Alpha-one Takaoka Ekimae

Excellent value for money! Close to the station, and far cleaner than you’d ever expect from the exterior. Maybe it’s been renovated? Everything is well maintained, and above all, the front desk staff are truly pleasant and welcoming. It’s also convenient for getting to both Himi and Toyama, and there aren’t many people around (which is also great!). I’d definitely like to stay here again on my next trip to Toyama. Highly recommended!

It was so reasonably priced that I arrived feeling a bit nervous, but there was nothing to worry about.At check-in, they provided an oshibori towel (and you can choose warm or cold). The newly renovated, spotless bathroom had plenty of towels, and the Room was clean as well. I usually want two face towels, so this was really helpful.All the front desk staff were kind and courteous, and I had a very pleasant stay. More Hotels are offering self check-in these days, but it really makes a difference when you receive friendly service.I’d love to stay here again when I visit Toyama.
