Shimo-Yubara Onsen Wanko-an: A Pet-Friendly Inn

First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the staff. We stayed with three family members and one dog, and it became an unforgettable trip.The meals, the Onsen, the Room, and even the view from the Room were all so wonderful that we were truly moved.The dog run was also very clean and well maintained; the grass was surprisingly soft and fluffy, and our dog looked so happy running around.There were also plenty of cosplay items for dogs available, so we were able to take lots of adorable photos.Thoughtful attention could be felt throughout the building, and there was nothing we lacked during our stay.At the “Wanwan Cafe,” we were able to interact with other guests as well, which became a great memory.Above all, I was delighted that every staff member truly loves dogs and treated our dog in such a friendly way.This is a wonderful Accommodation that genuinely made us think, “We want to come back.” I can confidently recommend it to anyone considering traveling with their dog.Thank you very much.

Twice a year, we take an overnight trip with our family and our dog. This Accommodation was one we had wanted to visit at least once since welcoming our dog into the family. Now that we are past 60, it felt a bit far from home to drive ourselves, and the cost of staying overnight added up—but in the end, the satisfaction far exceeded all of that.Everything was outstanding: not only the Room, but also the location and meals, and above all, the thoughtful hospitality of the owner couple and all staff members. Our dog is shy around strangers and did bark, but true to the name of this Accommodation, their response was wonderful.At dinner, they even prepared an excellent meal including a cake because it was our dog’s birthday month. We were deeply moved—both our dog and us.This is truly an exceptional Accommodation in every way.
