At check-in, there was no staff at the front desk, which surprised me a bit. It’s a self-service system where you enter your details on a machine and receive your room key. It was my first time using it, so I was confused at first, but there were no issues. It may not be suitable for people who aren’t comfortable with machines.If guests need to receive instructions in writing, it would be helpful to be informed at the time of Reservation so we can prepare.From the second stay onward, it should be fine.Good value for money, the room was clean, and I’m satisfied.

I stayed alone, and it was a clean, nice Hotel with no worries or complaints. The space on the 1st floor has comfortable sofas where you can relax, and a variety of drinks are available. There are many Hotels like this in Kyoto, which I appreciate. The Room was simple but well equipped with everything I needed, and I was satisfied. There were Japanese staff at the front desk all three days, which made me feel at ease as an older solo traveler even without unnecessary conversation.
