Pet-Friendly Accommodation: Animale

We stayed here for our summer vacation, using two Rooms for my daughter’s family (four people), us, and three dogs. Our grandchildren were delighted with the spacious Room, the Onsen, and the delicious meals. Since our two-year-old grandchild can’t eat adult meals yet, the staff kindly served food that seemed suitable, which we really appreciated. We would love to stay again when sightseeing in Nikko.

This was my second stay, and it’s still a wonderful place. The first time I was a bit confused about the parking, but by the second visit I had it down perfectly (lol). First-time guests might feel a little unsure at first. The stay includes breakfast and dinner, and both are truly delicious! Last time, due to timing, I used the indoor bath, but this time I was determined to use the open-air bath. The indoor bath happened to be out of order, but it wasn’t an issue for me. It rained briefly and I got a little anxious while bathing, but it stopped right away and I could relax in the water. This time it was the Japanese-style open-air bath; next time I’d like to try the Western-style one.My trips tend to fall during Japan’s rainy season almost every year, so the weather is always up to chance (lol), but the Room is clean and you can sleep peacefully and comfortably. My 15-year-old Papillon boy slept soundly too.
