Hebi no Yu Yukichi

I stayed with my small dog on a No Meals Included basis. This was my second visit. (I can’t comment on other Rooms or Plans,) but for a dog-friendly Room, it’s very reasonably priced and I’m very satisfied.[Room & Facilities] The building feels a bit old, but it is thoroughly cleaned and feels very hygienic. Although it’s a pet-friendly Room, there was no noticeable odor. The air conditioner can be adjusted freely. There is no TV, but it was more than enough for a quiet stay. Pet amenities include a crate and bowls (you need to bring items such as toilet sheets). Putting away and laying out the futon bedding is self-service. The toilet is shared, but since there were no other guests on the floor during my stay, I could use it comfortably as if it were private. It was also very convenient for No Meals Included stays that the shared area has a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle.[Onsen] The Onsen water quality here is truly excellent—silky smooth on the skin with an irresistible gentle sulfur scent. The open-air bath in the separate annex was especially wonderful; the building is newer and very clean. With good weather, you can enjoy beautiful stars at night, and in the morning or daytime you can take in the rich natural scenery of mountains and river views. (A savory BBQ aroma drifted over from the adjacent campsite; personally I found it pleasant.) I’m truly grateful to be able to enjoy such high-quality Onsen in a quiet setting together with my dog. I would love to visit again.

Even during Golden Week, we were able to enjoy the bath and meals at a very reasonable price. The bath was especially wonderful. They also accommodated an earlier breakfast time, which helped us get to our next destination smoothly. Thank you very much.
