JR Clement Inn Himeji

On a whim, I decided to visit Himeji Castle and made a Reservation. Maybe because it was a weekday, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. I booked a single Room, but it turned out to be a twin, so there was plenty of space and I could relax comfortably. The complimentary pillows you can borrow were especially great. The bed firmness was just right, and I slept soundly stretched out. I’m picky about pillows and use an expensive one at home, but this was even more comfortable than sleeping in my own bed.The tea bags available next to the front desk also had a wide selection—I tried rooibos and jasmine tea, and both were delicious. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was clean and well maintained. The staff were also very courteous.I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.By the way, Himeji Castle is on the opposite side of the station from the Hotel, so you can’t see it from the Hotel.

We stayed in a twin room. The table was easy to use (good height and size), the room was clean and spacious, there was a choice of pillows, and the amenity bar was well stocked.After enjoying a quick drink from the complimentary alcohol service, it was just in time for the ochazuke (rice with tea) service, which we enjoyed.Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. We would like to stay again.
