Hotel Iidaya

We stayed as a family. The front desk staff were kind and courteous, which made us feel at ease. For parking, we unloaded our luggage in the lot across from the Hotel and left the car key at the front desk. There are many izakaya nearby, so finding dinner wasn’t a problem, but it was so crowded that you may not get into popular places without a Reservation.If we have the chance, we would like to stay again.

When I tried to make a Reservation about 10 days in advance, everywhere was fully booked—this was the only place with availability, and it was far cheaper than the others. I thought leaving my car key would be a hassle at an early-morning checkout, but staff were always at the front desk, which was a big plus. The annex can be entered without going through the front desk, which some men might appreciate, but it didn’t matter to me so I won’t rate it.By the way, since it was cheap I recommended it to someone who forgot to book; booking last-minute wasn’t quite double, but still understandably more expensive—more like closer to the local going rate. If there were a large public bath, this would be my go-to Accommodation without question.
