Yunose Onsen Yunose Ryokan

To everyone at Yunose Onsen, Yunose Ryokan, thank you very much for taking such great care of us. It was truly a place rich in nature. There were no artificial sounds at all—only the sounds of nature—and it was deeply relaxing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and forget about time for a while. Thank you again.

As a senior, I chose the smaller-course meal, and it was more than satisfying. I assumed the sashimi would be served at the beginning as usual, but it came midway through the meal—and it was quite generous and very fresh—so it was a pleasant surprise.And best of all: an Onsen pool?! Normally you’re told not to swim in an Onsen, but they even had proper float rings and pool noodles. Not only children but adults were using them too. During the women-only evening hours, there was a moment when I had the pool to myself, so I tried swimming a little for the first time in about 50 years. At first my movements were awkward, but soon I remembered how to swim, and in the end I made it from one side to the other. It felt like it was probably around 20–25 meters long, so I was truly thrilled (haha). It gave me such a sense of accomplishment and became a wonderful memory.It was a fun Accommodation in many ways—refreshingly out of the ordinary. Thank you very much.
