Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Kounkaku

I stayed for one night with my elderly parents. The Onsen was, of course, wonderful—we stayed warm right up until bedtime. We were also able to bathe in the Onsen at affiliated Hotels and in the public baths, so we could truly enjoy Naruko’s famous hot springs. It was absolutely fantastic.At the buffet dining venue, my elderly father has back problems, so carrying a tray and serving himself while standing between other guests in line seemed like it would be a challenge. However, there were carts to place trays on, which allowed him to serve himself without bothering others and move around comfortably. We also loved the wide variety of options and the fun of choosing from them—my father was very happy as well. One disappointing point is that it likely depends on how many guests there are that day, but quite a few dishes—including desserts—were marked as “available until gone.” In the latter half of service, even if portions were smaller on smaller trays or plates, I hope the same selection as at opening time could be kept available. We would like to stay again as a family with my father.

My grandmother was not feeling well, and we truly appreciate that you promptly changed our Room from the annex to the main building.\nThe food was excellent and became a wonderful memory for us.\nWe would love to visit again.
