Kyoto Plaza Hotel Main Building & Annex Building

Because it is close to To-ji Temple, we chose to stay here. The front desk staff kindly provided detailed guidance on the parking area, advised us that we might need an umbrella based on the evening weather forecast, explained how to get to sightseeing spots, and gave a thorough overview of the Facility. We stayed here for sightseeing in Kyoto with my father and had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was also delicious. The large public bath was wonderful as well—it felt great after a long day of walking.In the morning, my father and I were able to take a walk to To-ji Temple, and we enjoyed a great trip in Kyoto together as parent and child. Thank you very much.For these reasons, I give 5 stars across the board.

I stayed in late August. Since it was the off-season, I was able to stay for under 4,000 yen, and the quality was so good that I couldn’t believe it at this price.First, the location: about an 8-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and you can pass through AEON on the way, so even in midsummer it wasn’t a hassle. The Room was very clean and beautiful, likely because the main building had just been renovated. The large public bath was on the smaller side, but the hot water helped me fully recover from travel fatigue. (However, there were only a few washing stations and hair dryers, so it got crowded and there was some waiting.) The breakfast buffet had more variety than expected and tasted genuinely good.Overall, the quality is unbelievable for this price. (It may be temporarily discounted due to the renovation reopening.)With a large public bath and breakfast buffet included, a clean Room close to Kyoto Station—there’s nothing to complain about at this price range.When staying near Kyoto Station again, I’d like to use this Accommodation again.
