Hamanako Resort & Spa The Ocean

We stayed on the one-night, two-meal plan with a Room assigned by the property, including grilled eel (kabayaki).The price was reasonable and the meals were delicious. However, it was disappointing that the website says parking is 800 yen, but when we asked at the front desk we were told we could use the municipal parking lot behind the property for 420 yen. It would be appreciated if this could be noted on the website.It was great to have a clear view of Bentenjima’s red torii gate right in front of us from our Room.We would like to stay again if we have another opportunity.

After our Reservation, you kindly called and offered to switch our Room. On the day of our stay, you also prepared a step in advance to help with the level difference in the Room’s unit bath, and we truly appreciated your thoughtful attention.You had arranged parking near the entrance, but unfortunately our car navigation guided us to the seaside parking lot, and we parked there instead.The restaurant staff were also kind, and we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace.The Onsen was spacious and very relaxing. From the Room, we could see both the torii gate and the sea; at night, the torii was illuminated and the view was beautiful. In the morning, we enjoyed watching seabirds and fishing boats coming and going, making for a very pleasant time.
