Hotel Green Plaza Karuizawa

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. The front desk staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious—I was very satisfied.Just one thing: coffee was provided in the morning, but it was a coffee drink rather than brewed coffee, which was a little disappointing.Still, considering everything overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money. Thank you very much.

I visited during the limited period from 3/19 to 3/29 when they offered all-you-can-eat crab. There was also all-you-can-drink alcohol, and with discounts such as points, I paid 14,100 yen for a solo stay, which felt like an excellent deal. The crab was red snow crab, and it was meaty and delicious. The other dishes were also quite good. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was excellent as well. My Room was a double Japanese-Western style room on the back side of the building, so the view was of the woods. From the front side, you can see Mt. Asama beyond the trees. The large public bath is in a separate building on the first floor past a corridor on the second floor; there isn’t much of a view, but the open-air bath was very nice. Overall, I really liked the buffet selection and would like to visit again. I hope they offer all-you-can-eat crab again.
