Hotel Sansuikan

I’ve been to Beppu many times, but this was my first stay at Sansuikan. Thank you for a relaxing time. My elderly siblings and I even talked about coming again next time (lol).

I had long admired the view of the Kannawa Onsen townscape with its rising steam, and this was my first time staying at Hotel Sansuikan. The view of the Onsen town from my Room, as well as from the corridor leading to the large public bath on the sixth floor, was wonderful, and I was able to relax and take my time.The baths were very well cleaned, and the Onsen water felt pleasant—warming me through and leaving me soothed for a long time. Both breakfast and dinner were served in a private dining room, and our assigned staff member provided outstanding service. From clear explanations of each dish to thoughtful touches in casual conversation, I truly felt the Hotel’s hospitality. The meals were prepared mainly with local ingredients and were delicious. What impressed me even more was how perfectly cooked the rice was; not only were the locally grown rice and high-quality water excellent, but it was so good that I could even sense the cook’s care in every bite.I was also very satisfied with the service and attentiveness of all staff throughout the Hotel. In particular, there were several international staff members at both reception and in the dining area; everyone’s service was excellent, using polite Japanese hospitality expressions that can be difficult even for native speakers. It made me feel that Hotel Sansuikan’s training is thorough. I would love to stay again next time.
