Keikyu EX Hotel Sapporo

It was so close and convenient that I almost walked past it, thinking it might be a bit farther from the station. The Room was spacious and clean, and I’d like to stay here again.

This seems to be a fairly new Hotel, and it was very clean. It was conveniently located just steps from the station. There’s a convenience store on the ground floor, and within easy walking distance you’ll find Bic Camera, Daimaru and other department stores, McDonald’s, and more—so even if you forget something, you can quickly buy whatever you need.The Room had separate top-and-bottom pajamas, complimentary bottled water, shampoo that lathered well, strong shower pressure, and a hair dryer with plenty of airflow—everything was excellent. I also appreciated having a foldable mirror for makeup. The TV was large and could be adjusted to an easy-to-view angle, which made it very comfortable. Since I stayed in a double Room, the bed was spacious and I slept well. The lobby was also clean with seating available; I relaxed there until check-in. They also stored my luggage until check-in time. It seems you can enjoy free coffee in the lobby as well.Check-out was very smooth—you simply drop the key into the box next to the elevator exit used when leaving.I contacted them in advance to request paid early check-in; the fee wasn’t overly expensive, which I truly appreciated. The female staff member at reception was very courteous. I spoke to them a few minutes earlier than my scheduled time for check-in, but after confirming they kindly let me in right away, which really helped me out. (I understand this may depend on housekeeping schedules and that entry may not always be possible unless it’s exactly on time—but I appreciated their kindness in checking.)Thank you very much for your hospitality.
