Sun Royal Hotel Kameoka Station Front

After sightseeing in Arashiyama, we got off at Torokko Kameoka Station (from Torokko Saga-Arashiyama Station). Then we transferred from nearby JR Mabori Station to JR Kameoka Station, and the Hotel was right in front of the station. The area around the station was clean and nice, with a new soccer stadium and a Starbucks.The free hot stone spa for women was excellent. It was open late at night, so I could take my time, and my skin felt so soft afterward. It seems the men’s bath also has an open-air bath and a mist sauna.The morning rice balls also felt homemade and were great. It’s not in central Kyoto’s main sightseeing area, but there’s lots of greenery and it feels relaxing. I can see why it has such high ratings.

A Hotel in the best location right next to the stadium. During the day, we toured Kyoto and rode the scenic train to Kameoka. After watching a soccer match, we were exhausted, so it was perfect to be able to rest right away at the Hotel right in front of us. The Room was clean and compact, and it was great that there was also a large public bath and a hot stone sauna. The price was very reasonable. Thank you for your hospitality.
