Best Western Plus Fukuoka Tenjin Minami

First, the Hotel itself was great in terms of cleanliness, location, and security. The bathtub was large enough to stretch out in, and although it’s in a busy area, the Room was quiet and very comfortable.However, what was disappointing was the staff...When I called in advance to change my check-in time (a male staff member), he was very pleasant, and I looked forward to my stay.At check-in—skipping the details—they were polite but never smiled throughout.At check-out as well, I simply placed the key card into a box, but there were four or five male and female staff members nearby doing something, and not a single person spoke to me... so I left quietly.The only person who greeted me during my stay was a foreign female housekeeping staff member in the morning. Even though she seemed busy, she cheerfully said “Good morning!” with a smile, which felt really nice and made me happy.I’ve stayed at many Hotels before and have never once felt unsure about how the staff treated guests, so this was very disappointing.The Hotel itself is good, and I would like to stay again if I have the chance. I also think it’s a recommended Hotel—so I wrote this hoping that this point can be improved.

It was a business trip, but the Room was clean and very comfortable. The Room was spacious enough and did not feel cramped. I was a little concerned about the black stains between the bathtub and the wall, but other than that, it was really well-maintained. I wonder if they can't be removed. Also, as with any Hotel, the disposable towel for washing the body is small, so I would like it to be one size larger.
