The OneFive Osaka Namba Kuromon

I stayed at this Hotel near Namba Station to catch an early morning train to Koyasan.When I went to the front desk before check-in to leave my luggage, an international staff member assisted me and kept my bags. There are lockers in the front lobby, and the staff handled everything politely. At check-in, only international staff were present as well, which made it feel like I was abroad. I was surprised when a staff member said, “Passport please.” I replied that I am Japanese and they proceeded with the process, but since I did not see any Japanese staff during my stay, it almost felt like I was overseas. This may be because many guests are from abroad.The front desk area had a water dispenser, an ice machine, and various amenities, so I selected what I needed and took them up to my Room. The elevator requires you to tap your key card to access your floor, which felt secure. The Room was clean and easy to use; however, the table was quite low. It was fine for tea or meals but not suitable for working on a laptop or writing, so I slightly regretted not booking a twin Room.It is also close to Kintetsu-Nippombashi Station, with Namba Station and many restaurants within walking distance—very convenient. Thanks to an IKYU sale deal, the value for money was excellent.

Because it is close to the National Bunraku Theatre, I used it for Bunraku viewing this time. I arrived earlier than planned, and when I tried to leave my luggage first, a kind female staff member at the front desk arranged for an early check-in. I was visiting from afar and had planned to go to a slightly distant place for a meal before the performance, so I was very grateful for the consideration of the front desk staff. During my previous stay, there was also an excellent male staff member, and in my opinion, this hotel has only Japanese staff, so there is no language barrier, and I can stay with peace of mind. I was very satisfied with the deluxe twin I used last time, but since it was fully booked, I used the superior twin this time. It is a typical business hotel twin room, and since there is no table and chair set, it is inconvenient to have tea or meals in the room. It seems that the double bed room has a table and chairs. I have never used it, but it seems there is an observatory on the rooftop, and I would like to use it next time. At the time of check-out, there were two young Japanese male staff members, but they responded properly. Although it is a hotel with many inbound users, starting with the excellent female staff member mentioned earlier, everyone's response is good, and it is a recommended hotel.
