    Quite disappointing.

    The room was dark, which made it feel small. Even in a twin room, I wouldn’t want to stay with two people; I could tolerate it only because I was alone. The TV placement is fine if you sit on the bed, but it’s hard to see from the chair at the table. The tea was good. At breakfast, there was no guidance, and the layout was hard to understand. The taste and menu didn’t feel very Kyoto-like; I’d recommend eating breakfast elsewhere. It was also difficult to find where the elevator for the guest rooms is located—this could be dangerous in an emergency. The bath was good. Overall, it felt quite disappointing. If improving the facilities is difficult, I wish more effort had been put into service instead.

    This was my second s...

    This was my second stay. It was a Multiple Night Stay, and I really appreciated that complimentary water was included along with the replacement towels. Many places don’t offer that these days. The building was clean and comfortable to stay in. However, the hallway felt a bit too dark.

    The location was great, and it was quiet, making for a comfortable stay. The thoughtful amenities provided were also much appreciated.

    It was a comfortable Hotel.

    The room was designed to let foreign guests experience the charm of Japan, while also providing a sense of home for Japanese guests. The bath and other facilities were more comfortable compared to older ones. Located in a quiet area, yet close to the bustling downtown, the large public bath had dim lighting that created a pleasant atmosphere!

    - At check-in, the receptionist processed everything without a word of welcome. This felt strange. - The Room is a stylish Japanese modern-style room, but the lack of windows gives a sense of confinement. - No issues with amenities or the bath. - Breakfast could be more satisfying with a greater variety. Overall, it seems to cater to foreign guests, possibly due to the high number of international visitors.

    There were only two ...

    There were only two chairs in the washroom booth of the large public bath, so I had to stand while using the hairdryer. I would appreciate it if you could add a few more chairs. Other than that, it was a very wonderful Hotel.

    One of the few with a large public bath in Kyoto City

    The large public bath, as well as the room, were in a modern Japanese style, providing a very relaxing stay.

    A unique Hotel

    The location was convenient for going anywhere, as it was near Kyoto City Hall. What surprised me the most was that there were many foreigners, and they were bathing in the large public bath just like us, which I thought was good training for visiting Japan's Onsen areas. The room had tatami and a bed, which felt strange to us. I think the bed was comfortable to sleep in.

    Comfortable stay

    I have stayed here several times before and feel that the location is excellent for sightseeing. Additionally, not only the front desk staff but also the cleaning staff returned greetings politely, making my stay pleasant. Amenities and cleaning frequency were provided with consideration for the environment, which I appreciated. Towels were always placed in a bag and hung on the door, allowing me to use clean ones every day. Breakfast was served in a buffet style. Since the café operates as a regular café, I felt that the quality of the offerings was high. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

    Thank you for the service!

    It was helpful to be able to take a break in a room larger than the one reserved before check-in time. The temperature of the bath in the large public bath in the evening was not great, but the morning bath was OK. The breakfast was also good, and I was able to relax in style.
