Accommodation with the worst sauna and the poorest support

The facility was not properly checked before check-in, and the sauna was not operational even after checking in. Inquiries were only handled by an outsourced call center that had no information. The room lacked a humidifier, leaving it extremely dry to the point of causing coughing fits. It felt as though guests were treated as ATMs to pay off the facility's debts, with no consideration for their comfort. Despite being a sauna-focused accommodation, there were no free drinks available, and with no nearby convenience stores or vending machines, dehydration could become a serious issue. There seemed to be zero concern for guest health management. When I called during the day regarding check-in issues, I was told that the night call center would handle it properly; however, they were completely unhelpful. When faced with a tripped breaker issue, I was mocked and asked if I didn’t know how to turn on power—despite there being no manual provided. They even sent an email instructing me on how to press buttons on an LCD switch when the breaker itself wasn’t powered on. Having stayed at accommodations across Japan before this one is undoubtedly my worst experience ever. Despite their mistakes, there was absolutely no effort made to address them or provide explanations about travel-related matters. Being in a remote mountain area late at night left me feeling helpless. The sauna itself had gaps in its glass door that let cold air through and failed to warm up properly—it wasn’t usable on the first day at all! Even after trying again on subsequent days, it only reached low temperatures akin to lukewarm saunas—not what you’d expect from someone who knows how saunas should function. While this may be considered acceptable for budget accommodations: curtains were missing from all windows; lying down in one of the ground-floor bedrooms meant making eye contact directly with surveillance cameras outside! It seemed designed for people unconcerned about privacy since everything inside could easily be seen from outside without curtains drawn. This place markets itself as focused around saunas but fails miserably—no instructions provided; water unavailable; insufficient heating capacity—and lacking basic amenities altogether compared against other vacation stays nationwide! On top of these failures: No communication nor explanation regarding initial mishaps occurred throughout my stay despite booking via IKYU.com—a platform previously trusted until now due solely based upon misleading photos shown online leading into reservations blindly trusting them beforehand ultimately proving wrong judgment entirely instead requiring thorough pre-checks ensuring legitimacy beforehand moving forward henceforth avoiding similar situations repeating themselves unnecessarily future occasions alike likewise overall disappointing experience altogether finally concluding
