Hotel Shirakawa Yunokura

We stayed for one night and two days.We could see the Kinugawa River from our Room, and everything was spotless—an extremely comfortable Room.The meals were a classic Plan centered around pork shabu-shabu, but the spread was very luxurious. It was delicious!The Onsen was also wonderful.Since it was raining, we couldn’t use the open-air bath at night, but by the next morning the rain had stopped and we were able to enjoy it.The water left our skin silky smooth—it was truly excellent.This has become an Accommodation we’d love to visit again.Thank you very much.

The building was clean, and it felt like the areas that needed renovation had been properly taken care of. The bath in particular was spotless, and the water temperature was perfect for a long soak—excellent. As for the meals, it felt like they were doing their best within a limited budget. I’d like to stay at this Accommodation again, but based on the Reviews saying the menu is always the same, I think next time I’ll choose a plan without meals. A small detail, but the toothbrush holder was very convenient. Many other Accommodations don’t provide one, and I hope more places will copy this idea. Thoughtful touches like a makeup mirror and a chair at the sink were appreciated, and you can use the massage chair near the bath as much as you want. There’s no welcome drink or greeting/farewell service and the fridge is empty, but by cutting those costs they keep prices low while still covering all the essentials, so I had a very comfortable stay.
