Hotel Okura Niigata

I always stay here when I’m on a business trip.The Room is a bit old, but the wallpaper is clean and everything is well maintained, so I had a very comfortable stay.The breakfast curry and French toast are outstanding.Next year, I plan to stay here with my family during our summer vacation.

I made a last-minute Reservation for the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival and stayed here.In conclusion, the front desk staff were wonderful, and it was a lovely Hotel.On the first day we watched the fireworks, and on the second day we planned to sightsee around Niigata. I only briefly mentioned this in the notes when making my Reservation, but at check-in an older male staff member kindly brought us a couple of sightseeing maps and told us about nearby attractions. He even advised us on the best transportation options depending on where we wanted to go. His service and language were polite throughout, which made me feel very comfortable.The Hotel itself was clean and pleasant to stay in.At checkout, a younger female staff member also handled everything efficiently, which felt great. When I asked if they could call a taxi to Niigata Station, she immediately coordinated with staff outside the Hotel entrance and guided us smoothly.All of the staff greeted us with smiles. Although our stay was short, we had a very comfortable time.Thanks to the sightseeing maps and notes they gave us, our plans afterward went smoothly as well—I’m truly grateful.If I can come back for the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival next year or visit Niigata again for sightseeing, I would like to stay here again.
