It was an unexpected surprise, and they were truly delighted and still have it proudly displayed. The first Hotel in Japan to join Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). The highest level of comfort! They promptly accommodated a sudden Room change and provided wonderfully courteous service. Thank you very much. The same attendant as last time assisted us again, and everyone was delighted with the consistently excellent service. The Hotel’s atmosphere and the staff are always polite and kind—truly outstanding! We will definitely stay again.

Perhaps because we stayed on the Sunday after the Obon holidays, the price was very reasonable. It was close to the station, and the Room had a large sofa, so we could relax and enjoy our stay. If I had to mention one issue—partly because we hadn’t properly completed our Check Reservation—our booking was listed as one male and one female instead of two females. We informed staff at check-in, but the loungewear prepared in the Room remained set for a male and a female. Even if it wasn’t needed, I would have appreciated it being checked. (Since we didn’t notice until bath time, my daughter slept in her clothes for the next day.)

This is my third stay here. Once a year when I visit Kobe, I stay with my grandchild. My 15-year-old grandchild really loves it and always says, “I want to stay at the same Hotel again this year!” Drinks and shampoo are available in front of the front desk, which also seems to be one of the highlights. Breakfast offers a great variety and is very delicious. My grandchild ate a lot from the morning. The staff’s service with warm smiles (especially the male staff) was wonderful. The front desk staff were also very pleasant, and I was able to check in and check out comfortably. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and there was also an air purifier, so I could sleep peacefully and feel refreshed. The Room was clean and well maintained, so we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Thanks to the excellent location and kind staff, we had a comfortable stay. The Facility was well equipped, and the curry was very delicious. Although the Room felt a bit small, our overall satisfaction was so high that it didn’t bother us at all, and it became a wonderful memory.

I stay here for about three nights around the same time every year, and the Hotel’s sincere hospitality never changes. They respond quickly even to minor issues, and their courteous service remains a consistent highlight. The well-rounded breakfast is another constant, as is the afternoon drink service—I'm impressed that they maintain such a high level of hospitality. I sometimes read Reviews of other hotels saying, “It wasn’t like this before,” but this Hotel never leaves me with that kind of disappointment. Overall, you can really feel the quality of this Hotel. It has everything that makes me want to choose it again for my next stay in Kobe.

I stayed here when visiting Kobe for a concert at GLION Arena. It was very convenient and close to Sannomiya. The Hotel staff were very welcoming and left a great impression. I was able to refill drinking water for free, which helped me avoid heatstroke in the scorching Kobe heat.

Hotel Okura Kobe has the dignified charm of a long-established Hotel, and everything—from the outstanding staff to the excellent dining—made for unforgettable travel memories. In particular, it was truly pleasant that the staff greeted us warmly every time we came and went. Although it is a first-class Hotel, perhaps thanks to Kobe being such a tourist-friendly city, we were grateful for the strong value for money and reasonable pricing that never felt overly expensive. I would like to make this my regular Accommodation whenever I visit Kobe in the future. I usually choose Okura properties when they offer good value depending on the dates and city, but even so, The Okura Tokyo has become quite expensive. In that respect, this stay in Kobe was genuinely satisfying.

This is my favorite Hotel, and I have stayed here many times. This time, I accidentally forgot to make a request in advance, but the staff remembered the item I had asked to borrow before and had it properly prepared at check-in. I was truly happy with their thoughtfulness in remembering me, and I was deeply impressed by the warm hospitality of everyone at the Hotel. No matter how many times I visit, I can always relax and feel at ease—this is a very special Hotel for me. I would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you as always.

The Comfort Twin West Room was spacious, with refined interiors and a great view, making for a very satisfying stay. We booked a breakfast-only Plan, but the buffet was delicious, including their signature freshly grilled patty burgers and French toast. A fond memory is going with my niece again and again to make the monthly-flavor soft-serve ice cream. My mother liked it so much that she said she would like to stay here every month as a way to unwind. We made wonderful family memories. We were extremely satisfied and would love to stay again.

The Room was clean and felt more spacious than it looked in the photos. Both the property and the Room were stylish, and having a foldable makeup mirror in the Room was very helpful. Everything was well maintained and spotless. All of the housekeeping staff we passed in the hallway greeted us, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. I wish we had used the café as well, so I’d like to do so on our next stay.

In an elegant, tranquil atmosphere, we were able to enjoy a truly refined stay. Famed for having “the best breakfast in the world,” my wife had long said she wanted to visit someday. From the moment we stepped into the Hotel—perfectly suited to Kobe Kitano—she was moved by its distinctly international ambiance. The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast. The colorful vegetable juices lined up before us, seasonal fruit, breads and financiers, handmade butter and confiture—everything felt light and nourishing, and it was clear how carefully each item had been prepared. I’m not someone who can speak in detail about cuisine, but there were moments that made me think, “As expected.” The Hotel staff also treated us with great courtesy throughout our stay. When my wife returned to the Room after finishing her meal and accidentally bumped into a staff member coming out of the staff room through the door, they not only showed thoughtful concern at that moment but also spoke to us again at checkout—and even a manager offered kind words as well. We assumed they wouldn’t know who we were by name, yet they had clearly looked into it and communicated internally; I was genuinely impressed by their coordination. On top of that, we left something behind in the Room and received a call on our mobile phone so we could come back to retrieve it. Thank you very much for taking care of us in every way. Although described as an auberge, I believe this is a wonderful Hotel offering truly first-class hospitality. We hope you will continue providing such refined moments for your guests in the future.

I often stay here when visiting Kobe because it’s in a quiet area of Kitano, and the spacious layout makes it very relaxing. It takes about 12–13 minutes to get into the city, but it’s an easy walk downhill (though the uphill walk back is tough). There are also restaurants on site, and during my two-night stay I was able to enjoy both Japanese and Western cuisine.

The location is convenient for getting anywhere, and the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. This was my second stay, and I would like to stay here again when I visit Kobe.

I stayed at this Hotel the night before to catch the bus from Sannomiya to Awaji Island. The area in front of the station was under construction, so I had to take a detour, but it was conveniently located near the station and close to the bus stop. The building next door was also under construction, but it wasn’t an issue. There is a book lounge, which I was very happy about as a book-lounge fan. (I only found out after staying.) Drinks and two kinds of snacks were available free of charge. I didn’t use it, but there was also a sweets time, with local donuts served. Despite how it looks from the outside, it was a comfortable Hotel.

It’s a very convenient location, close to Kobe Station and within walking distance of Mosaic and other attractions. I have stayed here every year since it was Crown Palace. In the past, the in-room facilities felt a bit outdated, and I was especially concerned about the plumbing. This time, with the change in management, the facilities have been renewed and I was able to stay comfortably. I usually choose a Plan that includes breakfast, but this time I also had dinner once at the on-site restaurant. Since it has only been about six months since the management change, they seemed short-staffed, and the service felt somewhat lacking. We had dinner as a group of 10, but they said they couldn’t prepare course menus for everyone, so we ordered à la carte instead. The food was very delicious. Breakfast on both mornings was a buffet at the same restaurant, but I felt the selection was slightly limited. The omelet made by the chef was excellent. I would like to stay again next time as well, so I hope to see further improvements going forward.

We stayed for two nights with lounge access! We were completely satisfied with everything—breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail time. There were even four types of drinks prepared in the refrigerator. The service was truly attentive, and thanks to you we were able to fully enjoy our first trip sightseeing in Kobe. I stayed here for the first time for my once-a-year baseball game at Hotto Motto Field Kobe. Usually, I check in, head to the stadium, and come back to the Hotel late at night. This time, unfortunately, the game was canceled due to rain and I was very disappointed—but choosing to stay here turned out to be absolutely the right decision. There was so much to enjoy from the 7th to the 18th floors. The staff were also excellent, and I was satisfied with everything.

This was my first stay here. I arrived earlier than the check-in time and asked to leave my luggage, but since housekeeping had already finished, they kindly accommodated me and let me into my Room early. The Room was spotless and very comfortable. I was impressed that the in-room safe was designed to blend in with the interior so it wouldn’t disrupt the Room’s atmosphere. Also, while there were no drinks provided in the Room, there was a complimentary drink service in the lounge. From 17:00 to 20:00, happy hour included sparkling wine and other alcoholic beverages as well as light snacks, which felt like a great value. Whenever I went out or returned to the Hotel, staff always greeted me with “Have a nice day” and “Welcome back,” which made my stay very pleasant. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

It was close to the station and Nankinmachi, and because it faces a wide street, I felt safe even at night. The Room was compact and clean. The guest-only lounge was so well equipped that I wondered if it was really free. We stayed as a group this time, so having a space where we could gather and chat was very helpful. If I had to mention one thing, I would like a shower cap to be provided in the Room. I only noticed after getting ready for a bath, and I hesitated to go all the way to the front desk to pick one up. Advice for future guests: If your vehicle is tall, please be aware that there is no nearby parking available for high-clearance vehicles.
