We stayed here for a family trip with my parents. At check-in, the staff explained the building while we enjoyed the beautiful garden view, which helped us understand the Accommodation even better. The welcome sweets and tea we were served were also delicious. As I am pregnant, I mentioned that I was avoiding caffeine, raw foods, and alcohol. They kindly switched the coffee prepared in our Room to decaf, provided non-caffeinated sword bean tea, and changed the tea served with meals to black soybean tea. I was truly impressed by their warm hospitality. Dinner was excellent as well. They even accommodated me with a separate menu, and I really appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. Every dish was delicious, the portions were just right, and it was a wonderful meal overall. The private Onsen in our Room could be enjoyed 24 hours a day whenever we liked, which was fantastic. My parents seemed very satisfied too. This was our last family trip before our baby arrives, and we are truly glad we chose to stay here. Once things settle down, we would love to return and stay in a different Room as well.

A relaxing Accommodation that makes you want to stay again. The staff were very courteous and attentive. Breakfast was served in a lovely atmosphere, and it was very filling. The only drawback is that the on-site parking lot is very narrow. Our car required quite a bit of maneuvering and someone guiding us; there is also a flat lot farther away, but considering the weather and our luggage, we chose the closer option. It’s within walking distance of the bus stop, so we were able to go out after check-in as well.

It felt like home in a way, being able to spend time with the whole family, talk, and take care of each other. However, the spacious bath with a jacuzzi experience, the warm floor heating, and the beautiful white wood Japanese-style room were extraordinary happy experiences. There is also a shopping street within walking distance where you can shop for groceries, and the vegetarian breakfast was delicious. The concierge was really kind and helpful; I highly recommend this wonderful Room! Thank you very much for all your help!

I’d been looking forward to staying at this new inn right in front of Ninna-ji Temple. It’s small, but it’s a wonderful adults-only hideaway where time seems to slow down. Beautiful paintings and obi clasps are displayed throughout the property, and you’re surrounded by a lovely fragrance wherever you are. Best of all, the entire building is covered with tatami mats, so you can relax completely in tabi socks and feel as if you’re barefoot. To my surprise, even the floor of the large public bath is tatami-covered—it felt fresh and incredibly comfortable. The private hot spring baths don’t require reservations, and it was great to be able to use them anytime they were available—I enjoyed them again and again. The view from the lounge is also amazing; seeing Ninna-ji Temple standing majestically right in front of you was truly special. There was never a time when it was too crowded to find a seat, and the beer poured into an ice-cold glass from the fridge was absolutely delicious! On top of that, there’s a great perk: everything in the in-room refrigerator is free—such thoughtful hospitality. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with very generous portions. They also offer Kyoritsu Resort’s signature late-night “Yonaki Soba,” but I was so full I couldn’t finish it—in the best possible way. On departure day we used the free shuttle bus to Dormy Inn near Kyoto Station, which was extremely convenient. The staff were wonderful as well—their smiles were warm, they chatted with us so kindly, and it really made our stay. I’d love to come back again.

The place was clean and well-maintained, allowing for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I appreciated the availability of bicycles and made good use of them. I understand that maintaining a traditional house can be challenging, but I hope you continue to preserve and manage this building. Thank you very much for everything this time.
