Thank you very much for your heartfelt hospitality during our three-day, two-night stay. Every dish made with local ingredients was deeply flavorful, and the free-flowing natural hot spring water was so soothing it felt as if both body and mind were gently unwinding—my spouse and I were truly refreshed. On the second day, we enjoyed a full round at a golf club near the Accommodation. Although it was extremely hot, the Onsen we had upon returning eased our fatigue, and once again we were reminded of how wonderful BeniyA’s hot spring water is. Also, whenever we encountered your warm smiles and greetings—especially from the attendant in charge of us—we felt at ease. Even a brief word when passing in the hallway showed such thoughtfulness, and we are sincerely grateful that we could spend our entire stay so comfortably. In addition, hearing from the proprietress about the kitchen knives left a strong impression on us—particularly as it came just after seeing news about a female figure skater receiving Japan’s People’s Honour Award. On our way to the large public bath, we caught a glimpse of the kitchen area and felt anew that these knives support your delicious cuisine every day. This trip became a cherished memory for us as a couple. We would love to visit again in another season—and next time, we hope to enjoy winter crab delicacies.

The welcome drink service included options such as sake and plum juice, and the Room’s beautiful interior created a special, out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. In particular, the breakfast was of exceptionally high quality, with some menu items that were on par with a main dish at dinner.

I loved the Japanese-modern exterior and the chic, calming interior. The guest room had a high ceiling, and the alcove lantern added a wonderful Japanese ambiance—I could really feel the good taste in the design. I heard there are only about 10 rooms in total, so the Onsen was never crowded and I could soak at my leisure. Dinner featured a wide variety of dishes using summer vegetables, seasonal fish, and local ingredients; I was very satisfied with the gentle seasoning. The edamame potage is something I’d love to have again. Breakfast also offered plenty of options and more than enough food—above all, the rice was delicious. From welcome to farewell, I felt truly high-quality service in every interaction with the staff. It was a stay that reminded me how glad I am to choose a Ryokan again after such a long time. I came here with a friend to relax and unwind in the natural hot spring water. This time we chose a more budget-friendly stay, so we skipped dinner. The Facility has a traditional Japanese design with great atmosphere, and it was truly calming. The hallways are covered with tatami mats, so it felt nice to walk around barefoot. The bath was incredibly relaxing—excellent. I was also able to fully unwind in the lobby. The onsen eggs were delicious, and breakfast was great as well. The Room had beds, so I could relax comfortably. One thing I didn’t expect was how few places there are to eat around the Accommodation. Many restaurants were closed on their regular days off, so finding somewhere for dinner took some effort. Also, when I misplaced something, their courteous support really helped. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and spoke politely—perfect service overall. Highly recommended.

We were very satisfied with the Room, where we could enjoy warm hospitality and a relaxing stay. The cuisine, featuring an abundance of ingredients from Fukui Prefecture, was also excellent. It is an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again.

I thought the temaki sushi dinner was a really great idea. It looks like the kids would enjoy it too. The bath is also an Onsen, and my skin felt so smooth afterward. The view is outstanding!! It’s right in front of Sunset Beach. I hope I can come again...

Our family of three stayed for one night. The building had a sense of history, and there were no inconveniences except that the Room on the second floor was accessible only by stairs. We enjoyed a Japanese dinner. The ingredients were outstanding, and we were able to savor both meat and fish. Breakfast was also very delicious, and we could tell it was carefully handmade. The seasoning was just right, and we were very satisfied. The bath could be used like a private family bath, which actually made it more comfortable than a large public bath. The Room felt newly refreshed, as if it had been properly renovated—everything from the walls and ceiling to the bathroom area was thoroughly cleaned down to every detail, making our stay very comfortable. We were able to continue our trip while taking into account the owner’s travel advice as well. Thank you very much.

I felt at ease knowing I could go anywhere with my dog. This time I only had breakfast, but it was very delicious and satisfying. Since it was a hot season, I used the air conditioner, but it was noisy, perhaps because the Facility is old. Other than that, my stay was comfortable.

The Hotel offers a great range of services to fully enjoy your time on-site, including complimentary drinks in the lobby, a manga library, one hour of free karaoke, and massage chairs. The all-you-can-drink alcohol option at dinner, including local sake, was also very good. As for the food, many dishes felt like typical buffet fare, and the sashimi selection was limited to tuna, squid, and salmon, so it did not feel upscale at all. The crab also felt like standard buffet crab. The heshiko ochazuke at breakfast was extremely delicious. My child was delighted to experience karaoke for the first time. What we especially appreciated was that both the washing machines and dryers could be used free of charge. They were lined up in the laundry room, and we could use any available one. We usually end up taking home heavy, smelly clothes after swimming in the sea; although we didn’t use the dryer this time, being able to wash and spin-dry everything made things much easier after returning home. Ryusho Museum is right next door to the Hotel—we could even see its beautiful building from the lobby windows—and we enjoyed an evening walk there as well. Everyone at the Hotel was very kind. Thanks to all these services, we had a wonderful time and it became a truly memorable stay. Thank you very much.

Perhaps because it was a weekday and the season, I was able to enjoy the Onsen almost privately, fully relax, and feel refreshed. They offer a No Meals Included Plan, and it was also very helpful that they provided a ride to the JR station on my way back. This Ryokan is also recommended for solo travelers.

This was my first time staying here. It felt like a traditional Onsen Accommodation, and I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to relax in the Onsen, and I also really enjoyed the dinosaur-themed bath. The amenities were well stocked, and although I checked in late, I appreciated that the futon had already been laid out for me. Just one thing… when I tried to put something in the refrigerator—“!!”. Maybe it was left by a previous guest? There was ice cream inside, and it surprised me. Since it was tucked away in the back, it probably went unnoticed. It became a funny travel story for me, but I worried that others might not feel the same. Overall, though, I’m very satisfied. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance.

The place was clean, and the food was tasty. It was disappointing that we couldn’t use the pool due to thunderstorms, but since Fukui often gets a lot of rain, it couldn’t be helped. For something to do, Matsushima Aquarium is very close by, which is convenient. Nearby Oshima Island also had a wonderfully serene atmosphere.

We stayed at this Accommodation after spending the day at Shibamasa World. Most other Accommodations require check-in by 18:00–18:30 if you have meals included, but this one allowed check-in until 19:00, which gave us more flexibility, so we chose it. We were happy that we could choose the main dish and each of us could pick what we liked. The food was luxurious and delicious, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Our children were also pleased to have a kaiseki meal instead of a buffet, and everything was delicious. They also happily ate the kids’ menu. The Room was spacious, with plenty of space even for our family of five. The bedding was mattresses rather than futons; I usually wake up with body aches, but perhaps because it distributed pressure well, I woke up without pain—actually better than usual. The bath wasn’t very large, with one indoor bath and one open-air bath, but it was relaxing and felt great. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

As this was a “reasonably priced” Room, it was located directly beneath the restaurant. As expected, we didn’t hear chair-scraping or footsteps much, but the sound of people running around carried quite a bit. The chair noise in particular was really loud. However, this trip was just for two adults and we weren’t specifically looking for complete quiet—and since we also used that restaurant for meals, it was within an acceptable range. The Room was spacious and very clean, though it did feel a bit dated. We were told there would be no view, but given the location, it wasn’t like another building blocked everything or we couldn’t see outside at all. If you shifted your gaze slightly, you could enjoy a nature-filled view of Fukui’s wide-open fields, which we were very happy with. The restaurant buffet had a great variety and everything was delicious—I ate too much. It seemed seared bonito (tataki) was the featured item this time; I could only get it once, but it was excellent. The other seafood was also tasty, and there were grilled and fried dishes as well—an indulgent buffet that everyone from kids to seniors can enjoy. Above all else, the Onsen was wonderful. I didn’t realize Awara Onsen is not overly hot. There were also two open-air baths, so guests could take turns enjoying them without crowding—everyone’s good manners made us feel lucky. We stayed here because we had a memorial service in Fukui Prefecture, but there were so many things to enjoy inside the Accommodation—a table tennis area and manga corner—and there was even a morning market held in the lobby. One night wasn’t enough. Next time I’d love to come back for sightseeing at a more relaxed pace. Thank you as well for providing Shuttle Service to Awaraonsen Station.

We stayed here when visiting the Dinosaur Museum. There are the Main Building, Yumoto Building, East Building, and Chosei Building, so the layout inside was a bit complicated. In any case, there are many large public baths. Every bath was kept very clean, and we were extremely satisfied. The attendants also took great care of us efficiently, and we truly appreciate it. All of the food was delicious, and even our daughter—who usually doesn’t eat seafood—said it was tasty and ate it. When we come to the area again, we will stay here again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here. To enter the Room, you just get the passcode and let yourself in. Meals are prepared in the refrigerator, so you simply do a quick cook and enjoy. This time we chose hot pot, and it was very satisfying! Plus, there’s an Onsen bath in the Room. Great value for money, and since it’s newly built, it was very comfortable. The Room is spacious too, so I recommend it for trips with your dog.

It was a clean Accommodation. There were three Rooms, and they were very spacious—more than enough for a family of four. Coffee beans were also provided, so we could enjoy a relaxing cup in the morning. We didn’t use the bath this time, but it was clean.

It was very luxurious to have the entire second floor to ourselves, but I felt the use of space was a bit wasteful. The room had the convenience of a business hotel, but with unlimited access to onsen with natural hot spring water, it could have been a luxury property with better use of space. There was supposed to be a drink service, so we didn't bring anything, but the fridge only had water as a non-alcoholic option. If I had known, I would have brought something. At least a vending machine would have been nice. They prepared plenty of bath towels for us, but since we wanted to soak in the onsen multiple times, it would have been nice to have a place in the room to hang the towels so we wouldn't have to use so many. The hot water and food were very good, so I found myself nitpicking on the finer details. That said, we were able to enjoy a luxurious time while maintaining the atmosphere of a pension or a guesthouse.

We stayed in a special room. The service during the meal was excellent. We had the pufferfish course, and we would have been happier if it had been a bit more luxurious. Given the reasonable price, we were satisfied overall. Thank you very much.
