요역 × 만족도 평가가 높은 호텔·료칸

I stayed here shortly after the Hotel opened. It has aged quite a bit since then, but it was well cleaned and I had no concerns. I checked in late, but I was still able to use the large public bath, and every item at breakfast was very delicious. The Room was very spacious and comfortable to stay in.

As others have mentioned, the exterior has a retro Showa-era feel and may come as a bit of a surprise at first. However, the inside has been renovated in a very charming way, and everything is spotless and well maintained. The interior design is quite unique—perhaps inspired by a luxury cruise ship? The name “Marina” suits it perfectly. The breakfast restaurant offered an amazing view, especially since we had good weather. The food was delicious too—you can make your own mini seafood bowl, and they also serve local specialties. The price was reasonable, and I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Sakaiminato.

We stayed here during the Obon holiday on a trip to the Sanin region. The Room was a comfortable space that helped us unwind from our daily fatigue, and it was wonderful. We were also very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast, fully enjoying the bounty of Sanin’s sea and mountains! We are grateful for the warm hospitality of the staff and chef. We used a Room with a medium-sized dog and a maisonette. It was stylish and fun, like a hideout. The kitchen Facility was well-equipped, clean, and easy to use. The staff was kind, and the location was convenient for sightseeing. Traveling with a dog is fun but can be troublesome, yet it was easy to walk the dog, and the dog was able to relax. I would like to use it again when I go to Sakaiminato.

We stayed for 3 nights. This time, we were looking forward to staying at a private house-style Accommodation. Just like at home, we entered through the front door and walked down the hallway while looking out onto the courtyard, and our Room was there. It had such a calming atmosphere. The parking space was right in front of the entrance, so unlike a Hotel—having to ride an elevator or walk long corridors—there was no unnecessary movement. Also, there was no face-to-face check-in or check-out, which was very nice. The Room, wash area, and bathroom were spacious and very clean, and the bathroom had a drying function. Since it was a hot season, this really helped. The Room had an outdoor garden with a tsukubai (stone water basin), but we could not go outside. It was disappointing that the basin only had rainwater collected in it. We felt that adding dripping water or something similar would make it feel more atmospheric. Overall, we were very satisfied.
